I had a wonderful experience at this location! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Typical Italian breakfast, diverse and high-quality.

Very friendly stuff and comfortable room just 5 min from the beach and 5 min from bus stop. Everything was clean and ready. AC worked well nothing was broken. There was very little fridge in the room. Easy connection to Taormina from the bus stop 5 min away (you have to walk dangerous road but apparently drivers there used to it so it’s fine)

There is a small terrace/ patio and our room doors was just next to it. Every night ppl were sitting there and having very loud conversations so it was hard to sleep. That’s normal since that’s there for that purpose but we are early sleepers so for us it was hard to get good sleep even after politely asking ppl to be more quiet we still could hear everything. That room wasn’t for light sleepers. Breakfast was rather symbolic but there is very good bakery (Solomon) next to the place.

Warm welcome and host. Host give us great tips what to see in the city in such a short time. Excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location.

Cons: 1. As this complex doesn't have a heater, we felt very cold on our arrival day with rain. We should've wore winter jacket while sleeping. 2. There were no coffee/tea pot. I guess it's because they're offering breakfast. However, we wish we can have a coffee/tea pot for hot water in the room for the night. 3. Parking....omg....if you can find it in one shot, you got lotto. 4. Lots of stairs. Make it light luggage. Pros: 1. The staffs were extremely kind and helpful though. Simple English communication works which is rare find in Sicily. 2. The location is just 10 min away from the center of Taormina by car and 2 min to the beach by walking. However, the home itself is a little tricky to find as it is located between narrow streets.

Il Volo was a great choice. Everyone at the property made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we stepped in. Breakfast was tasty during which we had a nice chat with Nunziatina. The other two ladies we met at Il Volo were also very friendly and helpful. Everything was great, access is through a narrow lane with a few steps, so, all good if you don't mind steps...

The room was beautiful, modern, comfortable, clean with everything you might need. The location was great, just a minute walk to the beach and the main road with plenty of nice restaurants, bars and shops. Simona, her family and the whole staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, letting us check in early and making us feeling very welcome. They recommended restaurants in the area and in general they've been lovely hosts. I was very impressed and would definitely go back to their lovely b&b next time I will be in the area!
