Spacious room with a nice patio which felt very private. A small cooking area for simple meals and big fridge freezer. Some nice little touches like a bit of oil vinegar salt pepper, soap and bottled water we’re just right for people on the move. Check in was during the day and very easy at the smile villa next door. Nice friendly man on reception showed us where to park and to our room. The pool and plentiful sun beds was a nice extra! Very easy to get to the beach and restaurants.

Just a bit of noise from the road but we expected that from previous reviews and looking at the map.

Great location for access to shops, beach, bus stop and restaurants. Apartment had everything we needed and was spacious and clean. Nice balcony area too. Good shower. Staff were lovely and happy to change towels etc for us when we asked. Garden and pool area was lovely and peaceful and you have access to the bigger pool with bar at the non self-catering part of the hotel just down the road. For the price we paid it was great value for money.

Only downfall with the location was the busy road our apartment backed on to. You can hear the road from the pool area as well. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable but it was okay. The sink in the bathroom had low water pressure but this wasn’t a big issue.

Good value for money and quite easy to walk to the village and amenities. Also access to Villa Giardini pool and restaurant

There was a notice about conserving water however the toilet dripped the whole time. I spoke twice to staff and they just said old pipes, tap 3 times and it will stop but it didn’t. Quiet time was from midnight however there was a lot of noise from other guests after this time

The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a small kitchenette area. Bathroom and shower were fine. Good sized balcony with great view of Etna and a drying airer. Loved the pool area - very clean and quiet and lovely garden area with more sunloungers. The staff on check in and when we saw any during our stay were friendly and helpful.

The only issue was a party of young people overnight, who had booked 2 rooms on the first night we were there. Lots and lots and shouting, slamming of doors, doorbell buzzes ringing a lot, it was so so noisy. Unfortunately there is no staff present in the hotel overnight so I couldn't ask the staff to intervene, so at about 2:40am when it was still continuing with signs of stopping, I went and knocked on the door and told them to be quiet. I messaged the hotel at the same time to inform them as I didn't want it to be happening every night our stay. I only got a response in the afternoon from the hotel, apologising, but luckily the group had checked out that day.

Nice place, 5 minutes uphill from the beach Lovely pool after day-trips, that was the reason we selected the location, too bad there were some "giant" mosquitos or something giving huge bite reactions to my daughter. , so we couldn't enjoy evenings by the pool.

The staff was very helpful, the location was great and the pool was a godsend when the beach was full of people and we wanted some quit time

Perfect location close to nice beaches and also close to the bus stop, quite and nice little garden around pool area and perfect patio belonging to the groundfloor appartment. I especially liked (and was surprised) cleaning service every second day which I absolutely did not expect in the appartment and appreciated a lot.

Everything was perfect, I just felt the bed was not very comfortable but the rest of my family did not complain at all. We only had car for 1 night but I felt it was difficult to park it, not much space around but we managed for this 1 day.

Spacious accommodation, good furniture, good Airco, not noisy!! Own bit of garden. Enough cutlery for simple meals.

Reception a bit remote. But always very helpful.

Nothing to dislike

The property has a beautiful well kept garden and pool that was very important for us as we travelled with our five years old daughter. The appartment was clean and spacious with a freshly renovated bathroom. They also provided cleaning every second day which we really appreciated. It had AC which we did not use as we were there in early June. The staff was super helpful and very flexible with our check-in and check-out times as our plane had a very unfriendly schedule. We had a really nice time in Villa Collina.

The traffic is a bit noisy by the pool but it is not disturbing on the terrace or in the appartment.
