Everything was perfect! Even the out of the way location is perfect in its own way. I walked the 6km uphill and found it a pleasant walk with a typical 30 degree gradient after the C17 Dongo bus went awol. Just watch out for over-enthusiastic drivers and incredulous looks from at home pensioners. Food was exceptional even for someone who has just come from Melbourne, Australia. Shout out for all staff including the very earnest but efficient Ernesta who radiate a home away from home warmth...

Nothing really.

This was pretty simple but super, exceptionally clean, staff were super friendly, the food/restaurant was great with local Italian dishes. We had a nice view on the lake from our room (it's a 15 minutes drive to the lake), I did some trail running in the environment, there are hiking paths but not very well indicated. We were happy that there weren't televisions in the room as the walls between the rooms are not very sound proof, so we could enjoy a tranquil evening and night. Very good value, we left 2 tips which we don't often do. We'll be back some time.

For the value they offer it wouldn't be right to complain about anything

Lovely family feeling as you arrive. Nice simple and clean room with everything you might need plus a balcony overlooking the valley. We were a little late for dinner but they cooked us something anyway. Such good food! The breakfast was amazing as well, so much variety, I hope you are hungry 😉. Some of the best food we had while in Italy. Would defiantly stay again.

No kettle in the room. It was not an issue as you can go downstairs for drinks from the bar but we find it nice to have an evening tea in the room.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was the place in Italy where we encountered the kindest people. I felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-organized. The attached restaurant served an exceptional dinner at night, with pizzas prepared and baked in a wood-fired oven in view of everyone. The breakfast was fair. But the view from the rooms—absolutely priceless. Despite being at the top of the mountain with no cell signal, the WiFi worked well, and I was even able to work remotely and have online meetings.

It's located in a somewhat secluded village at the top of the mountains. While this isn't necessarily a problem—in fact, it could be seen as an advantage—the road leading there is narrow and quite winding. Be careful when driving up.

The owners are amazing - very friendly, warm & helpful - the weather during our visit was a bit chilly, we were supplied with a heater without having to ask for it; Ernesta made sure we have everything we need to feel like home :) From the balcony of our room we could see both the lake and the mountains, and you can enjoy the same views while eating at their restaurant, too. Food for dinners was fresh & delicious (gnocci, ravioli, lasagna, steak), breakfasts were also very good. There was space to leave the car in front of the place - very convenient. Very budget friendly pricing, too! Thank you for everything, hope to come back in the future! :)

The dinner was great! We are bikepacking on mountain bikes and it was important for us to be able to store the bikes somewhere safe. We could bring them in the hallway no problem. The staff is also very friendly, especially the lady that saved us breakfast. Our room looked towards Lago di Como, it was gorgeous. Very laid back and good place, excellent value for money. We'd gladly stay here again.

Great location and views from the hotel, the owners and staff were very kind, the room was impeccably clean with a comfy bed and daily service, there is a restaurant on-site with delicious meals for dinner. A lovely, well-managed hotel altogether.

Wi-Fi was dropping in my room at times, plus the bathroom was fairly small, but these are rather minor things that have no impact on the overall rating.

gorgeous views over lake Como. Room very decent, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was honest for the price, we hot some croisants, bread and fresh fruit, salami, concentrated juice, and a little local cake. Coffee was excellent. Cleanliness was great. There was at least one schuko socket in the room.

The tradeoff for the great views is that you have to drive up the side of the mountain for 15-20 mins.

very nice staff. restaurant included. locals come here to eat so you know it is good. Room was a bit outdated but for a night certainly not an issue. Very clean.

location on itself is great, high up, overlooking Lagio Di Como. The drive to it was hell. streets are narrow a lot op very steep hairpins. if you are new there you want to take your time which you won't get from locals. expect light flashes and honking horns...

Excellent service, very nice people working here. The room was basic, but very clean. Good value for the money. Excellent view from the parking lot near the hotel. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, delicious local food. Would come here again.

The soundproofing - you could hear well the sounds from the hallway and the other rooms. Only if you drive there: the road up to Garzeno is very nice during the day, but can be challenging during evening for unexperienced drivers - it's narrow, with a lot of tight serpentines.
