This was a great clean hotel with breakfast, centrally located, nearby shops, restaurants, and a walk from Ischia Port. The rooms are pretty good size, the staff were all amazing making our vacation as wonderful as can be. From Ernesto the bartender, to the ladies at the front desk, to the kind, English speaking extremely helpful front desk manager, and finally to the restaurant manager who was so accommodating, gave me a tray of food to take to the room because my teenagers were sleeping and not feeling so great. Thank you for everything ❤️ we sincerely appreciate all your hard work and wonderful customer service of going above and beyond.

Breakfasts are Italian style, with lot of sweet pastry. Nice and strong coffee or cappuccino on request. Very polite and professional waiters. Clean and well maintained pools are good standard here for a long time. Hotel location is convenient in the heart of Ischia Porto, near to grocery and bus stop, location safe due to police station nearby. Reception professional, kind and very helpful. Happy to return back soon.

I would recommend to install a plaques with water type/content description, however I believe this information is available at reception on request.

Great location - walking distance of the port, bus station, restaurants, supermarket and shops - the area was quiet and I felt safe. Breakfast was very good with different cakes each day. Lunches and dinners can also be booked at the hotel restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and can arrange tours. The room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately I did not have time to make use of the extensive spa facilities that are available.

Just something to be aware of when booking a room with a terrace - it means that there is a terrace on your floor, not a terrace in addition to the verandah of your room. The hand towels were more like tea towels.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel. The staff were all so friendly and kind, the breakfast was generous and varied, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, it has two bars, THREE swimming pools and a wellness centre with free sauna, steam room and jacuzzi! We loved the decor and that it didn't feel like a chain, also that it was just a short ten minute walk from the ferry port. Maybe all hotels in Ischia are amazing, because this one felt like a luxurious holiday for a budget price. Thank you everyone at Hotel Royal Terme!

Nothing was negative; it couldn't be beat!

the hotel is placed in an excellent position, easily reached with a short walk. It is also a few metres away from the Ischia Port Terminal and from there you can catch a bus (actually a mini-bus as the streets of Ischia are quite narrow) to just about anywhere on the island. The staff were very friendly and courteous offering precise explanations and details. Highly recommended if you simply want to relax! An added treat (which we did not know about when we booked) was the "percorso benessere" included in the price!

Clean and the staff were lovely. The location was perfect for our purposes. On the first night our air con broke but they found us another room for the night and it was fixed the following morning.

Breakfast was a bit confusing if you were only bed and breakfast but Enzo (restaurant manager) took us under his wing. The lift isn’t currently working.

Everything: the location-10minutes walk from the port and the bus station and the narrow streets of the town centre. The thermal facilities that you can easily access from 7am till 9pm both indoor and outdoors. The outdoor pools with hot springs, the staff, the food served and the Hotel itself.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. The pools were HOT and wonderful!!

They said there would be air conditioning, but they would not turn it on until June. We stayed until 5/30 with no AC

Bath and cold pool are awesome. There is balcony to chill and room is clean. It is short walk to main street. Breakfast buffet is good with a lot of choices. It is free to use private beach section.

Hotel is located 10min walk from beach. It is not very far and there is cold pool on site.

Kettle in room would have been nice as there was a fridge. One pool was closed during our style which was a shame ; just bad timing.
