The main advantage of the hotel is people: an incredibly friendly professional staff! Especially the restaurant staff is just one big wonderful family! It's just impossible to not get attached to them! )) An excellent location of the hotel, a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Delicious food and spacious rooms, a very interesting historical design of the hotel, wonderful pool, a nice private beach and stunning views from the restaurant terrace. Already missing the island and the hotel and looking forward to staying there again!

The location in the center of pedestrian street of Ischia Porto.

Absence of Internet. Very limited choice on breakfast. The absence of spa in the hotel.

The location is great. Beautiful garden. Hotel has chairs and umbrellas available at the beach.

Room was very basic. For the price other hotels offer more. Needs renovation.

-Excellent location and atmosphere - Good old-style hotel with a fascinating garden and nice terrace in the heart of Ischia. - Staff was kind and available - The room was spacious and well-thought - The little pool with the cascata cervicale was cool too. - Price included free use of lettini/ombrelo in the nearby beach, much appreciated.

- It is an old hotel, so be ready for it. - Wifi did not work well - Maitre in the breakfast was quite unfit, pushing away the pigeons with the serving tray and never smiling. Overal, the staff at breakfast was too stressed which is partly undestandable but not the right way for one to start his/her day.

Amazing location, a traditional hotel in amazing gardens the property is filled with antiques and had a unique decor which we loved. The pool is amazing set in gardens, the water is warm and really helped my back! Staff were super friendly and happy to help, even though we spoke little Italian. I would love to visit again. The room was quiet at the back of the hotel near the pool which we liked. We mainly had the pool to ourselves and it has a very relaxed atmosphere, Drinks served by the pool and snack availble at lunchtime. Short walk to loads of restaurants and bars and shopping if you want that. We didn't travel around the island but probably will next time, glad we went here instead of Capri, it was pleasantly busy and not too overrun with tourists, June is a good time to go.

Only slight issue was I felt that the bed was a little hard and could have used more pillows. The bathroom needs some touching up but it was nothing major.

The grounds are green and peaceful, and the location is excellent: in the pedestrian zone just off Via Colonna where everyone shops, hangs out at street side tables, and takes their passeggiata. The staff are absolutely amazing: warm, funny, endlessly helpful, and unfailingly courteous. A big shout out to my girls, MARINA and CRISTINA! Wonderful breakfast and the rooftop dining area has spectacular views of the Bay all the way to the mainland.

The air conditioning was weak, but the evenings were cool so it was okay in the end …

Super charming old villa that was turned into a hotel. Great location ,no road noise !. The staff were exceptionally, always trying to help in any way they could. The views from the restaurant were so beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were very nice. Maybe consider not getting the dinner package so you can try some of the countless amazing restaurants on the island. Most of them are a really good value. A very memorable place to stay !

Pillows aren't the best but I find that to be the case in many hotels especially in Italy

They had an amazing garden with tall trees and plants. It felt like being in a jungle and a fantastic view from the restaurant. Good breakfast choices and times. Spent my early mornings drinking cappuccino and reading my book in the sun. Warm thermal pool and nice bar in the middle of the green.

Nothing in particular. Just pay attention at the tranfer solution, not as onest as it should be. We were 9 people with an infant and we got message dhe had to pay, but at our arrival both the taxi and on the boat told us that she wouldn’t pay, so we got 8 tickets. On the way back they gave us only 7 boat ticket instead of 9. in conclusion we paid for 9 to the hotel but the hotel paid for 8/7.
