The breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional but everything that was available was good. I would have liked to have some fruit options.

The air con is passable, I’d imagine it’d struggle if the heat went above 27°c

The location is fantastic: 5 minutes to the local central shopping streets and restaurants and bus connections, or less than 15 minutes to the harbour for boats to Naples and buses travelling wider/further around the island. The room was silent, clean and cool enough. The balcony was welcome & there was ample space with a desk, chair & bed to walk around ok. The shower, window etc. all worked as expected. I don't know if kettles or ironing boards were providable as myself, I didn't need those in my visit. The cleaning staff were friendly, extremely helpful & cheerful. The bar staff by the pool were also - everyone really went out of their way to make the stay as nice as possible, helping at every opportunity possible! My greatest thanks goes to the 2 charming receptionist ladies however. I had so many questions and chats with them on places to visit, opening times, travel, clothes washing and more and they were so happy to help, always. They remembered guests rooms & requests, were chatty & took a genuine interest in what people wanted to experience in the local island. They were always cheerful & smiling and the fact both looked like models was just the icing on the cake. Overall the staff made this a wonderful and memorable trip. I loved Ischia and will be back - now thanks to the staff and especially the receptionist team, I'll also book to stay at this hotel the future times also.

The kitchen breakfast cooks offered packaged, processed food, with their vegan offering including a croissant bag & a bag of biscuits both containing milk products. After the 1st day I didn't revisit for breakfast, lunch or dinner to try.

The hotel is in a great location - close to the sea and the shopping street, but away from the noise of Ischia's nightlife. Availability of private chairs and umbrellas on a small beach near the hotel with a beautiful view of the Aragonese Castle. Friendly staff

When we checked into the room there was a very strong smell of chemicals, which we barely managed to get rid of. We also did not understand the imposition of buying caps for visiting the thermal pools, while there are ordinary plastic ones

The location is very good - the port, central street with a lot of shops is 5 min walk. Two beaches are 10 min walk

The smell from the conditioner was very awful, so we have to avoid using it. In the hot weather this is not very comfortable

Staff were awesome, very helpful and kind. Helped us with organising a scooter hire and also with a few other things. The hotel is in a nice location close to good restaurants and shops. Free breakfast was also great.

I found it pretty bizarre that they enforce wearing head caps for their pool but then force you to pay 4€ to get one? Seems like such a scam when you’re already paying the money for a luxurious hotel, and also the head cap rule just made me not enjoy the pool so we didn’t go swimming. Also the bathrooms are in serious need of maintenance, none of our drains worked properly in the sink or shower, and our shower taps were leaking so much they made stains. Also felt like a pretty crummy shower you would find in someone’s cheap rental as opposed to a 4 star hotel.

The location is fantastic—close to the port and the sea, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. It offers good value for money compared to nearby alternatives, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I would have appreciated being able to control the air conditioning in my room, as it was centrally managed.

Hotel located in a super spot next to Main Street (vittorio colonna) that has lovely shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely reception area. Room big and bed comfortable. Bathroom big with great shower, bidet, fluffy towels. Fridge provided. Lovely big wide balcony with deck chairs and table and chairs. Pool clean and big and pool staff friendly and attentive. Spa therapy pool added bonus. Lovely breakfast with delicious coffee and cakes.

Hotel allows pets which is not listed in the details provided by Booking.com I really like dogs but the dogs next to me often woke me early with their yapping.

il "regina palace" is INCREDIBLE. I stayed here in may with my partner and although we had booked for a normal room they gave us a "superior" room that was wonderful, for cleaning and for design. from the terrace we could see the outdoor pool and we enjoyed the view. the staff was super courteous and the location of the hotel is really central for those who want to stay in Ischia Porto. Everything was perfect and we can't wait to come back and be pampered by this wonderful reality again.

Location was excellent near plenty of restaurants and tourist options. SPA on site was very nice where my wife and I had great massages. Staff was extremely helpful providing recommendations on everything from tour options to restaurants. View from room balcony was impressive as it looked over the water to see Capri, Procida and Naples.

Mattress cover in our bedroom was very hard. That was my only complaint.

The locality of the property was excellent, walking distance to everything you need, and buses and Porto. Staff at front of house were extremely helpful and attentive. Always happy to offer assistance.

I didn’t not like anything, but a suggestion would be to have the option of a small pool that is cold, I know that the pool is thermal and meant to be at a certain temperature but on a really hot day all you want if to submerge yourself in some cool water. Bathrooms in some of the rooms really need looking at, I know the property are doing upgrades and I am sure it will happen soon flood by floor.
