Room was well climatized and nice, spacious enough. All the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was generally a good variety of Italian breakfast options. We appreciated the comfort of a baby bed supplied to us. We also were allowed to check in earlier - that was super helpful.

The fridge could be a tiny bit more powerful, and a more modern shower head and a better hairdryer would be a massive upgrade for very little cost. I'd be happy to pay 2,- EUR more for the room, but would rate it significantly better either. That also goes for the scrambled egg which was made from powder - even though it's commonplace nowadays, I find it inacceptable.

The location of the hotel is in quite place between main locations with shops, restaurants, bars. It takes max 7 min from the hotel to the private sandy beaches. There are a few bars over there to have a bed and umbrella for rent, also to have snacks and coffee with seaview and wonderful panoramic view of the Aragonese Castle. Even in October the water in the sea was clean and warm enough to swim. The room in hotel is clean, and you will not miss your breakfast cause the housekeeping will knock to your door early morning to clean the room... the staff on the receiption is very freindly and helpfull. Amazing team in the restaurant on the breakfast, serving quick and with the professionalizm, taking a notes which table you prefer. As for breakfast itself you can find tasty home breakfast with fruits and various pastries. The hotel and room are in local style with sunny and bright colours. Good to have pools, one with warmed water, in the hidden by green plants area . If you'd like to have coffee and bruskete you could have it in the pool bar. Do not forget to have a swimming cup with you. But unfortunately there is no any place to dry swimwear in the room like balcony or smth. Finally I would say that I've enjoyed my stay in Ulisse hotel

The view from our room was a dream, I couldn't imagine a better view. I wished our balcony had a little stool to sit on, I would have never come inside. The room was very clean and the AC was good. We were comfortable. The location of the hotel was also perfect, we were able to walk to the port as well as anywhere we wanted to in Ischia Ponte. The beaches and area surrounding the hotel are so charming. Breakfast was nice and we were able to check in a bit early. Overall we had a very nice stay.

I spent 4 weeks in Italy this summer and every single hotel that I stayed in near a pool or beach provided towels for guests. This place wasn't "cheap" and I was disappointed to be asked to pay to use a towel at the pool.

The Ulisse is a delightful hotel with a fantastic location, right in the middle of Ischia Porto--almost equidistant from the castle and the port, and just off the main shopping street--so we could walk everywhere. It is also right by the beach and has a wonderful pool, with chaise lounges and a snack bar--ideal for families. The decor is perfect for a beach town, with nautically-colored details throughout. Our room was adorable in a beach-house way--with a small balcony and a gorgeous view of the pool and the castle beyond. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace with an almost 360 view, including Mt. Vesuvius on a clear day. The breakfast buffet offers an abundant range of typical fare, from scrambled eggs and cheeses to fresh pastries and cakes, and the staff is friendly and helpful--offering good advice, even selling bus tickets at the desk. Highly recommended.

It's a little hot in the breakfast room, although the rest of the hotel feels cool and fresh. We loved everything else.

Gem of the Ischia Island! It was a last-minute booking upon arrival to the island. Great location, walking distance to the port (20 min walk), shops, restaurants, and other amenities. The hotel is located slightly out from the busy area, which gives that peace and quiet. Beach is located only 2 minutes' walk from the hotel. The Aragonese Castle is only 15 min walk from the hotel. The hotel also has got a swimming pool as a bonus! It's very handy if you need some peace from the busy beach. There is a bar in the swimming pool area, which is very handy too. Overall, the hotel and its facilities look and feel much better in life than on the pictures. The hotel has got a lovely vibe, cosy, and family feel. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and polite. The buffet style breakfast is delicious! The most tasty scrambled eggs I ever had! We would highly recommend this hotel! Please book without any hesitation!

Great family-run hotel. Staff were very helpful. Centrally located between the port and the castle - easy to access shops and restuarants on foot. Bus stop right outside and mini marts Amazing view of with castle and the sea outside. Close to beach for easy swimming access. Pools and breakfast awesome.

I would have loved a kettle in the room, although the staff were willing to provide hot water for my cup of tea. I dearly wished the pool opened a little earlier and closed later. (Hours between 9am and 7pm meant we often couldn't use the pools if doing day trips)

All the staff and personnel that I came across were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. This 3 star hotel punches way above its weight in terms of facilities, breakfast, swimming pools. Great beach minutes from hotel. So central for port, shopping and restaurants. Third floor terrace has magnificent views of the bay and Arghonese Castle, lovely place for a coffee or a late night drink under the stars. But again, the personnel are what makes it all happen. From check-in with Alfredo to very early check out this morning, staff were so attentive and friendly and professional. Can't wait to stay here again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Near enough to the port for the buzz and social life and far away enough for a peaceful getaway, with amazing views and enough local facilities. Wonderful friendly staff. Very close to beach. Quiet and beautifully run. Feels more like a 4 star hotel. I would recommend this hotel and would be really happy to stay here again.

The only thing I would think needs a little improvement is the breakfast offering. We stayed for a week and the breakfast was identical every day. A little variety would help, and perhaps an increase in quality in some of the ingredients. However, it's was totally acceptable, just not very exciting.

Loved everything about this hotel. Staff were all kind and friendly. At check in they took time to find out what our plans were for our trip and then advised us where to catch buses we needed. I enjoyed breakfast and thought there was a good selection of different food groups . Room was nicely decorated and had air con, balcony , safe, fridge. Lovely terrace on 3rd floor with gorgeous views. Pools were lovely with a large unheated pool and a small heated pool. Snack bar by pool is good value . Great location as a few minutes,walk to the beach. All the facilities you need within about a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Reserved a room with a sea view. Opened the window door and the view was spectacular!!! had the pool, sea castello aragonese and dozens of boats. Clean. Good location in a side quite street and great service at the front desk and breakfast room. Breakfast was as expected and enough to start the day.

The hotel is an old style hotel, but I knew that from the start. The room was quite small. The shower was tiny and troublesome. We are small size women, so not so sure about bigger people enjoying the shower room. Still the view, outdid it all 😊
