I don't normally write reviews however after reading the reviews myself I was worried about this hotel. The hotel is very basic (you get what you pay for) however we had clean towels every day, good shower and a good nights sleep every night. The view is stunning, a view of the sea and castle. The hotel is in an excellent location, we hired a scooter to get around the island every day, the hotel is very close to shops and restaurants and about a 30 minute walk from the harbour, there are busses and taxes available. We got feee coffee and pastries every morning which was a short walk to a restaurant, this was a coffee and a selection of pastries (there was nothing else but then again it's free!) they were very nice and the coffee was amazing situated in a lovely restaurant. The beach is about a 5 minute walk.

The garden area could do with a freshen up, however this did not affect us as we were out every day. There is no pool or loungers but again it didn't bother us as we were out everyday.

Located just steps from the beach, this location was perfectly situated an easy walk away from Castello Aragonese in Ischia Ponte and Ischia Porto for day trips to Procida and Beyond! I cannot recommend enough to upgrade to a terrace room!! Not only were the room and terrace huge, bite the views of the castle and sea all the way to Vesuvius were breathtaking, especially at sunset!

You can request a mini fridge in the room ahead of time, they are not automatically provided in every room. They do note this in your initial booking message, so just make sure you request ahead of time and also via the provided WhatsApp, because I did it through booking and I think the request was lost.

The accommodation has great potential. Position facing the port, beach and Castle. We took half-board accommodation. We were very pleased with dinner at Ristorante Pizzeria Pirozzi, it was beyond expectations, a very rich menu at a low price. Breakfast was at Gran Bar Giardino Calise, an extremely beautiful and elegant location with coffee and croissant.

With minimal improvements: a refresh by sanitizing the building and cleaning the garden, air conditioning, mosquito repellents the location would look spectacular

The view from the window we had was so amazing - a beautiful view of the coast, little boats and the beach below, as well as the castle. The bed was comfy and the room was super spacious. The bathroom was also good, even tho a little on the smaller side still did the job. The location was also great, really close to a local beach and close to several mini Marts/cafes

Little bit of a walk from the main port, not too bad but we had backpacks and it was all on a slight incline. There was no aircon, only a fan, which was okay for the most part but there were times where it was very hot and the fan wasn’t enough.

The property was in an excellent location. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and bus stops. I had a room with a balcony and view of the ocean which was fantastic; witnessed some beautiful sunrises from the comfort of my own bed. The hotel manager offered some great advice on sights to see and the easiest way to get to them.

The room did not have air conditioning or a fridge - this was outlined in the room description, so was expected. If you are going during the summer; it is quite hot in the room.

Spacious room. High ceiling. View from bedroom - castle. Confortable beds and pillows. Easy communication with the hostess. Flexible to leave luggage in order to visit the city. Good advice for breakfast.

Old building and furniture. Not spotless cleaning (some dust and old receipts under the bed). Quite expensive for what you get, but cheap considering the other options at this time.

Gorgeous room and views. Traditional hotel with lots of character, features and charm. Highlights were the artwork on stairs, location and views, huge bedroom windows, simple and beautiful esthetic.

Liquid soap in single-portion plastic packaging - not environmentally friendly or sufficient. Better to have a reusable hand pump or bar soap for environmental reasons.

This hotel is sensational! The location - the room I was lucky enough to have was room 17 (or it would be 27 if next floor up) is the corner room with insane huge balcony and views to die for to the fortress and the ocean. Right across the road from the beach, bus stop 5 min walk and beautiful historic town 5 mins away. I had an issue health wise and came a day late and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I ended up booking an additional four days to stay as loved it so much.

Not staying even longer.

We loved the view of the sea from our room, but that’s thanks to location. Simple room in a hotel, which already had seen its good times. Our connection to Salerno was in late afternoon, we were allowed to leave our luggage.

A skilled caretaker would be needed to: repair the shower head, paint freshly the walls, etc. the garden is also abounded.

High ceiling, good space in room, room cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Very close to beach Number 7 bus nearby goes to Port. Beautiful garden with lots of seats. It was so nice to come back to a clean room each day.

The shower was a bit tricky and the water kind of lukewarm but we managed. The small balcony had nowhere to sit but we used the garden area.
