We had the most wonderful experience staying at this charming B&B, just a 10-minute walk from the castle — a perfect location for exploring the area without needing a car. The setting is both peaceful and picturesque, with a balcony view while enjoying your morning coffee that’s hard to beat: lush gardens and a glimpse of the castle in the distance. It’s a scene that feels like it’s been plucked from a storybook. The breakfast each morning was a real highlight — fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and care in every bite, much of it sourced directly from the garden just outside. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and clearly designed with thought and intention. From high-quality mattresses to well-placed charging stations in every room, everything you could need for a comfortable stay has been anticipated. The B&B is Davide’s childhood home, and that warmth is felt in every corner. The philosophy here is simple but powerful: treat every guest like they’re loved and part of the family — but never at the expense of professionalism. Catrin, Davide and the Conte family truly go above and beyond. From sharing local tips to recommending the most fantastic restaurants and spa experiences, their guidance added so much to our trip. This wasn’t just a stay — it was an experience of genuine hospitality, connection, and care. We’ll absolutely be back.

Marcantonio in Ischia is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Besides the island has a natural beauty, Everything went so good with the lodge and the staff. Starting from check in, Giuseppe and Simona gave us a warm welcome and gave us all the best hospitality and recommendations about activities , restaurants and else. Catrin and Daniella also were very caring about our stay and making sure we are enjoying it. The house was extremely neat and tidy, very well equipped kitchen, spaces and rooms exactly like in photos and the view to the castle was amazing ! Great location too, definitely I will be back! Thank you all of you( Catrin, Daniela , Giuseppe and Simona who make possible a wonderful stay for us ! We will keep you in our hearts 💕

Clean facilities, amazing staff and owners, great breakfast, great air conditioning, awesome location. Catrin and her whole family were incredibly welcoming and delivered a top customer experience. We paid extra for a huge, gourmet breakfast and a tour around the island by Catrin and Davide's son. They helped connect us with a local cab driver who was incredibly useful for getting to/from the ferry and dinners in Forio and up the mountain. We were also worried about the train worker strike and Catrin went the extra mile to look into the issue for us and see if our train back to Rome would be impacted. Overall would certainly recommend the B&B to anyone looking to visit Ischia!

We had an amazing experience in Ischia thanks to Caterina, Davide and the rest of the staff. They explained literally everything about the island and help us to rent a car in August when all the others were fully booked. They also cooked us an amazing Ischian Breakfast. About the Estate it was very well located, super close to the Castello and beaches and everything was clean and comfortable. We could even shower with views to the Castello Aragonese!!! Truly recommend the experience.

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. The location couldn't have been better - nestled right in the heart of Ischia's historic center, here is a supermarket nearby and many charming restaurants. And, of course, the castle! The accommodation exceeded our expectations - clean and comfortable room, Italian style <3. And not to forget the balcony with its stunning view! The hospitality was exceptional, with every detail taken care of to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We truly couldn't have asked for more! Thank you for making our trip so memorable and relaxing!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Catrin was a fantastic host, welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We loved using the spacious kitchen to prepare dinner and then relaxing on the terrace—it was the perfect spot to unwind. The attention to detail throughout the property made it feel extra special. And the location couldn’t be better—the beach was just a 2-minute walk away! We would love to come back again!

Everything was perfect! The nicest, warmest, and most accommodating hosts went out of their way to collect us upon a late arrival and to help us try to find some lost luggage. The room was spotless, comfortable, and lovely - just like the photos. Location is excellent. Terrace and view of the castle were great. And, I'm still dreaming about the delicious salad served at breakfast. Highly recommend!

My husband & I have travelled extensively (including throughout Italy) and B&B Marcantonio is one of the most welcoming and hospitable places we’ve ever stayed! Catrin, the host, makes an incredible effort, going above and beyond, to ensure you have a great stay. We felt like we were being taken care of by family! The B&B is beautifully furnished - the beds are extra large and have real, top-quality mattresses (not always the case in Italy!) The location is superb and the price is so reasonable. We are already trying to devise a plan to return!

Everything. Very carefully designed house with modern amenities. Beautiful large bedoom with very clean large comfy bed and chargers and sockets. Ensuite had his and hers washbasins, Wonderful shower with good flow of water. Kitchen next door to use if required for drinks etc. Breakfast at 10 euros was superb e.g mixed sweet and savoury was omelette, caponata, home made jams, pastries,, scotch pancakes, rolls, coffee, tea, juice. Terrace setting for breakfast with view of castle. All high standard. Catrin, the owner, was wonderful. Very welcoming and very helpful. Daniella served breakfast and was lovely too. Ideal location, 10 mins to Castle and 20 mins to the port

I loved everything about my stay here. Catrin and Davide have thought of absolutely everything. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and with a great outdoor area and view. Super big and comfortable bed, the TV has Netflix ect.. Breakfast is delicious! It’s a lovely short walk to the castle, beach and town. The owners really take care of you and go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay! I would love to return one day.
