Absolutely amazing! The stay exceeded all expectations. Room spacious and cozy, with the huge terrace. Gorgeous views from everywhere in the hotel, as it's on the hill. Super large and deep pool, perfect for swimming. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Cleanliness exceptional and provided every day, housekeeping does a great job. Bus stop just in front of the hotel, good connection to all parts of the island, no car needed. Best views on the island! Ischia Ponte and the castle 8min away by foot. Please don't make prices higher, as I hope to come back!:)

This is just for info for someone considering to book the hotel, as it's not the minus per se, but good to know: Ischia is very hilly, and the hotel is on the hill, so won't be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Although the Ischia Ponte or Porto look really close on the map, in reality going back to the hotel it's a bit challenging walk towards the steep street, especially in the summer heat - however, the bus connection is good (although once an hour) and the hotel also offers free transfers between 9 and 12 pm.

Lovely staff and great location. The view is amazing and the main pool is great. We loved the drinks and lunch that was served at the bar. The shuttle bus that the hotel provides is always available in the evening for free and both drives you and picks you up at the main 2 locations which have access to everything you need in town. The hotel is further up the hill but it takes only 10 min to walk down to one of the bus stops in the old town and there is another bus that goes all the way to the hotel but not as often. AC works great which is quite a relief after a hot day in the sun.

Facilities are a little bit outdated but everything is very clean and honestly it’s only to point out something but really everything works and is not a problem.

We highly recommend this hotel! We spent an amazing vacation. People from hotel are really friendy and helpful - receptionists, bartenders, cleaning lady :) Room was clean and comfortable, breakfasts offered so many sweet possibilities, that was hard to choose :) in hotel, there are 3 pools, one outdoor for swimming, with pleasant water temperature, second outdoor with hot water, third indoor with a sauna right after. Deck chairs around the pool and also several benches throughout the hotel grounds were there to relax in the shadow of beautiful flowers and palms :) and the best is THE VIEW on the castle! Day and night :) I hope to come back one day !

What an experience staying here! It's a family hotel - and they'll treat you like that, too. When our baby bounced on the tiles, they called their own childhood doctor to come directly. The restaurant manager would take her to the kitchen, others would kindly give us some personal advices and helps. We felt like treated 5 star (it's probably a 3 star hotel because some facilities look a bit dated). Italian hospitality and their love for children is priceless anyway, but here it's outperformed! Ischia was really worth it too - vulcanic so furtile, flowers everywhere, and more "local" then crowded Capri or Amalfi. Warm people. Recommended. I don't always take the time writing a review, but it's a pleasure assuring you that this hotel - with the view, the flowers, the swimming pools, the lovely attention and care - it won't disappoint you!

There was nothing that disappointed us, but good to know for people with little baby's: there is no grass, so you have to look after them a bit.

Incredible location! Breathtaking views of the ocean and the Castello Aragonese the pool area was very nice, clean, comfortable sun-lounges and sitting areas in the shade great staff, friendly and helpful loved that the room had double doors to a little terras outside, chairs included. No ocean view but still, sun from morning to evening. good air conditioning and even a good ceiling fan.

The bathroom did not have an air-extractor or a window and it was not so pleasant as it opened into the room. plus the humidity factor The beds were not the most comfortable, neither the bedding Paper-thin walls The breakfast was very limited, a real pity when Italy has such a surplus of fresh products (veggies and fruit) not to mention cold cuts and cheeses. really expected more

This Hotel have a fantastic position that face the Castello Aragonese with beautiful view all day around. Staff is very friendly, room very spacious and located not far from the Ischia Ponte ( 8 min walk) or Ischia porto ( 15 min walk or 5 min bus). The owner is an amazing and friendly person who is always on the front line from breakfast to dinner, making sure all guests have good time with his humble attitude. An amazing stay with an excellent service delivered from the entire team!

It was seriously all great!

Beautiful location, stunning view of the castle from the many seating areas and sun lounges. Easy walk down in the town from the hotel at any hour. The hotel had lovely helpful staff who were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Great communication throughout our stay as well as local travel from port to hotel, leisure activities and taxi’s. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

The bed is a little tried and not to comfortable but was fine for what we needed, also walls are very thin so can hear your neighbours throughout your stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are simple but spacious. Shower was tiny but it’s nothing unusual in Italy or Europe however the bathroom was big. Air conditioning worked very well. Room was always cleaned daily, new fresh towels were brought in daily as well. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Nice pool. And THE VIEW. Stunning. Beautiful. Just perfect! It’s about 30 min walk to ischia port. But 15 min walk to the center: restaurants, shops, etc. I read some reviews about the breakfast buffet but I’d like to say that it isn’t so bad when someone is getting the food for you. You could always ask for more. I love the breakfast there. Not a huge selection but was pretty decent and quite enough to satisfy every guest. And lastly, AWESOME STAFF!! They were very helpful, always friendly. This place is a gem! Highly recommend. Would love to visit again!

The staff were just so lovely and kind. My son is coeliac and they gave him gluten free pasta, bread and croissants, and looked after him so well. They made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't praise the staff highly enough. The location is beautiful and views spectacular. Overall it is just such a lovely, relaxing location. I loved the way that most of the rooms open directly into the tiled terraces and the way that the hotel has flowers growing on every terrace. The food is amazing too!

The hotel would not be ideal for people with mobility issues, because the hotel is located on sloped ground. This was not an issue for us, but could be for others. It does allow great views of the sea!

The staff where exceptional, we contacted the hotel to enquire if we could come a day earlier. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and made it possible for our earlier arrival. Upon our arrival we where overwhelmed by the view from the hotel of the castle and the marina. The location is spectacular. The Room was clean and very comfortable with very much appreciated air conditioning. The patio area with loungers looking over a spectacular view was fabulous. The food was keenly priced and excellent quality, and the service was fantastic. Friendly staff who go the extra mile. There was 3 pools, which at no stage where overcrowded and surrounded with plenty of sun loungers. This hotel and its staff are amazing, we just returned home today and are already looking at dates to return. We had a 2am checkout this morning and the staff prepared a lunch bucket for us.......Very much appreciated, extremely considerate and thoughtful. I can't recommend the hotel enough. a 5 minute walk downhill has you in the centre and the hotel offer a bus between 9 - 12pm for lift back to hotel. Unfortunately for me, I took ill on the last 2 days of the holiday. The staff arranged a Dr to do a visit, the DR was friendly, professional and very thorough. The staff called to check on me later. I felt very reassured and safe. We travel a lot and stay in many different hotels, but this one and the staff who run it are GEMS!!

The only thing it did not have was an Iron, however we where advised housekeeping could organise if required.
