Room was well positioned aspect at front of hotel. Shower unit was a little compact but that is down to when the hotel was built. Linen was good quality. Pool area was lovely well planted (music a little loud for my taste but easily sorted with headphones). Breakfast was extensive and Sarah was very friendly and extremely helpful. Did have dinner in the restaurant upstairs as a special occasion - would suggest that menus (with pricing) be displayed in reception/beside pool for people staying. Prices are on the high end (no issue with this as food offering was excellent quality and chef is bespoke cooking) however may be a shock to some customers to be presented with pricing when seated. May be on the HotelAp already did not look at same.

Found a couple of the more senior members of the waiting/restaurant team a little stand-offish (might be being reserved) which differed to our experience with the members of the team in reception, spa area, Sarah at breakfast time.

Excellent location in Ischia Ponte. Walking distance to the port and restaurants on one side and Aragonese castle on the other. Very good breakfast. Incredible helpful stuff. Especially Sorena who speaks perfect English. Amazing view from roof bar. Great value for money. Will definitely stay again

The comfort rooms , although very functional, are too small if you have suitcases.

Lovely hotel, great location which is walking distance from the main port and also from shops and restaurants in Ischia Ponte. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast lovely. The pool area is very pretty and the pool is a generous size, although we didn't have the chance to use it. The main restaurant on the roof terrace is lovely, if a bit expensive.

The only improvement I'd suggest is to turn off the constant music that is playing everywhere - by the pool, in the lobby, on the terrace, in the restaurant, etc. It really isn't needed, and can be quite disturbing, e.g. if you're trying to relax by the pool or on your balcony.

The style of the hotel is lovely, clean and modern but also comfortable. The pool and pool restaurant are fantastic. All the staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants, shops, beach and castle. Also only 15 minutes in a cab from the port. Breakfast is great. A complimentary drink voucher is given on arrival and the view from the roof bar is stunning.

It’s a lovely hotel, boasting professional and friendly staff, as well as all the amenities necessary to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool area is nice with ample loungers for all guests, and the bar offers a good selection of drinks and snacks. We enjoyed a facial treatment and a massage at the Beauty Farm which is run by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The hotel is situated in Ischia Ponte, which we found to be more captivating and picturesque than Ischia Porto. It’s merely a 20-minutes’ walk to the main town and port. We’d gladly return to Villa Durrueli should we visit Ischia again.

The staff was exceptional. I fractured my foot on 9/22. They were very gracious and accommodating. They brought my meals to my room and assisted me with transfers as I was in a wheelchair.

Both Lorenzos (Lorenzi) were amazingly helpful. The rooftop view was spectacular! We got a free upgrade with one room and we’re next door to each other. The terrace off our room was perfect for us to socialize. Breakfast was delicious. Spa was quaint and all to ourselves for 45 minutes. Book early! We could walk everywhere to access shops and restaurants.

The pool jets made loud noises.

Nicely located. Very big terrace. Good breakfast options a La carte. Welcome drink in the restaurant on Roof top with fascinating view to the Aragon castle. Welcome SPA for the guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was lovely,tho I should’ve reserved a sea view. The location was convenient, right in the middle of ischia port & the castle & the shops & restaurants in that area. The hotel has its own lovely lil spa & we enjoyed our time there.Lovely pool with a bar and a beautiful sea view roof top restaurant serving wonderful food. Great breakfast. Comfortable room, bed lovely bathroom nice shower & water pressure. Most importantly the staff is extraordinarily helpful & friendly and is what made our stay exceptional. Thank you Lorenzo, Vincenzo, Valentina, Laura & Sara ( I’ve left out some names I don’t know but EVERYONE made us feel welcome & cared for & we appreciate all of you!
