Beautiful big pink hotel located 10 minute walk from Ischia Ponte where you can swim or stop and eat or shop along the way. I stayed in a lovely single room with a balcony that was very clean and well decorated. The outdoor pool is incredibly relaxing, with lots of poolside lounges to sit and enjoy. Whilst I was staying, many of the guests were older generation which was actually perfect for me (mid 30s travelling solo female) as it felt very calm.

4 star rating is slightly deceiving, as although it provides a lot of amenities, it’s not super luxurious

The hotel itself looks beautiful from the outside. It mainly caters to older Italian spa guests. The staff was friendly but upon checkin I was only addressed in Italian and also received a briefing together with other guests in Italian. This worked for me but I witnessed other foreigners struggling with the lack of foreign languages being actively used. The towel for the pool had to be paid for (€5) which I found unusual. And bathing caps had to be worn in the thermal as well as the outdoor swimming pools. The pool only opens at 9am so no pre-breakfast swimming. There was a great pool bar with the most friendly lady serving drinks/coffes/food. The garden was lovely and well kept. In front of the hotel was another large garden and bar area for the evening. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of Italian sweet bakery items. The room was plain but very clean. I believe that thereare also modern/renovated rooms. The aircon could not be adjusted and was mainly blowing out air at a certain nouse level. Therefore the room stayed very warm at night. The room neighbour was smoking on the balcony and I had the smoke coming into my room. Even though I was not impressed with the aircon and staff’s language skills I enjoyed staying here!

Airconditiong is oldfashioned and not adjustable despite having a temperature dial (no remote).

I think this hotel was good value for the money. It is in a beautiful and lush setting with a nice pool and a spa with many different treatments that were not too costly. It is also very close to the city (only a 10-minute walk to the nice beaches Spiaggia dei Pescatori).

You could hear people shouting in the corridors in the morning and in the evening. I never understood the breakfast system - many of the seats were somehow reserved in advance. Moreover, there could have been more fruit and better quality prosciutto.

would have liked clearer information about how to get to places. it took me a while to find the quickest way to the beach. also difficult to understand the shuttle service. shuttle service limited but helpful driver.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Hotel San Valentino Terme. We loved the pool and spa. The staff were super helpful and always friendly! The bar area was a lovely place to hang out in the evening with great cocktails. Our room was always cleaned really well.

The breakfast could be better with more variety and choices. The bed was slightly hard for us but overall the room was great.

Really nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is great, shallow area for kids, plenty of sunbeds and a snack bar, all set in beautiful gardens. The pool water is thermal so you have to wear a swim hat but that's not a problem. Easily purchased at reception. We had some delicious food at the snack bar, gnocchi and bruschetta. We liked the indoor thermal pool too, lovely and relaxing on a rainy day that we had! Breakfast was always plentiful with a large selection of foods, we loved the cakes! I would recommend this hotel and would stay again for sure.

Nothing! Was really happy and would stay again. Would only say, be prepared to walk quite a bit, but there's plenty of buses and the hotel offer a shuttle service but we didn't use it and were happy to walk into town/beach/bus stop.

I liked that it was quiet and the staff was hospitable. The hotel is quite old-fashioned and brought me nostalgia to holidays as a kid. It had a great, clean pool area with snack bar where you can order lunch and a spa. A lot of elderly people seem to come here to relax. Breakfast was great!

Everything is a bit old-fashioned, room, shower, and bed could use an upgrade. Still, it's good value for money. They also could provide more free towels, for example for the spa. The room is quite small.

I'm extremely happy for having chosen this hotel for my last minute, first ever visit to Ischia. After a long trip across the country I started feeling muscular pain in one of my legs, so I was looking for something near the castle, the village and the port. It's also near from some beaches and the Acquedotto. This means that you can walk a short distance to these places from it if it rains as it was my case, or establish it as an easy base if you move further either by car or bus. The warm pool helped me with the leg problem I mentioned: access is available for all clients until 7 pm. The room I got was better than the one I initially reserved, so I was very grateful for that, especially after facing the rains and spending quite some time working from it during my 3-night-stay. Price relation was great - and breakfast was included too. Staff was kind and friendly, and I like the hotel look: it's not a new one, but instead of feeling "dated", it gives you a rustic impression, and the wood is real - unlike in other hotels that have gone through "renovation" and substituted their furniture for fake/cheap finishes. Absolutely the casual, calm atmosphere I was looking for at the island. Fully recommended! Would definitely repeat.

Great spot with a nice spa. Most of the staff was very nice but a few of the staff members were a little short with me. I don’t speak much Italian so that might have been the reason.

Loved the pool and spa area! My room was quiet and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, selection of pillows and pleasant air conditioning. There is a small refrigerator/ mini bar that is restocked with bottled water daily, for a charge. Appreciated the free shuttle service to the hotel’s private little beach club and also has a snack bar. Had a fantastic lunch at the pool with a delicious scialatielli pasta with mussels. Location is good, within a reasonable walking distance of Ischia Porto center and the beaches.

Coffee at breakfast was bizarrely bad. The free WiFi never really worked.
