Hotel Terme Alexander was just right for my wife and I. The staff at reception, bar, pool side and cleaning were all excellent and made us feel welcomed. The pool and basement thermal pools were beautiful and very clean. We stayed in a garden view room with balcony which was spacious bed was comfortable and aircon worked well. The position is Perfect to explore Ischia Easy to get to the main sites and restaurant area just out side the gate. The owner also owns a restaurant in the street with a beautiful menu. We ate there twice and the food and drinks were excellent Parking our car on site was a bonus for Italy Oh and the whole package was very well priced. So happy with our choice of hotel We will be back again next time for longer that’s for sure Paolo and Daniella Melbourne Australia

Location, near beach and town

A bit dated, but very clean and well looked after, could do with some artwork as it is a bit austere. I would however use this hotel again

Clean, quiet, spacious room. Excellent shower, good vanity space around the sink to set toiletries, lots of closet space with plenty of hangers, two desk chairs plus a table and chair on the balcony, reasonable price, easy parking. Good location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We didn’t use the pool but it was beautiful with a great sea view. Martina at reception was extremely helpful, especially with information about driving and parking on the island. She was delightful throughout our stay.

The wifi was slow. Other than this minor inconvenience, we loved everything about this hotel and will definitely stay again the next time we come to Ischia. Highly recommended.

Quiet location, close to the beach and restaurants. Always enough sun beds around the pool. Very nice and helpful staff

There was only one toaster in the breakfast room, and a very slow one. I also missed natural juices. Otherwise the breakfast was very good.

Excellent location! One entrance of the property lead to the sea front and a 2 mins stroll to a small beach, the other side of the entrance, right on the main shopping street and restaurants! Our room was so spacious! Love the concession to modernism, we have a power shower completed with body jets and rain forest shower head!

Air conditioning was turned off as the temperature dropped down to 22C in the evening!

The location was very good, it had a lovely big pool and is across the road from the beach. It is an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants & nice shopping. It is a very Italian experience/ the rooms are traditional. Very clean & ours was generous in size. Staff were all very helpful & friendly

Not much to not like

Very quiet and the balcony facingthegardenwas pleasant in the evening. There were many excellent restaurants nearby. The ferry port was nearby but it was better to take a taxi to and from with luggage. The pool area had lots of sun loungers available.

The air-conditioning did not work and the room stayed very warm until late afternoon. The breakfast room was chaotic and not many choices for vegetarians. The most difficult thing at breakfast was getting coffee which was very difficult.

We liked the place, it was really close to the sea and also to the centre. The swimming pool was great and the view from the hotel terace too.

We had ants in the room.

Location was perfect , beside beach and close to lots of restaurants. Pool was good and not busy so easy to get sun beds. Only 10 min walk one way to port with good selection bars / food etc and 10/15 min walk in other direction to next town and more beaches , castle etc.

Hotel was a bit old world - reception seemed to be using ledgers and books , not computers to manage reservations etc.. My bill was calculated manually while checking out and an error made , however rectified immediately without fuss

Friendly welcome, staff were very attentive and helpful. The place was well kept and the location was close to both a bustling pedestrianised street for food and shops and right next to the beach.
