The hotel is recently renovated and has very comfortable rooms. The location is perfect, on the main shopping street, just a few minutes from the ferry and a short stroll to the beach. The service was very good. We had a problem with mosquitos in the room but the first morning the hotel provided an anti-mosquito device in the room and problem solved! And a nice breakfast with charming Louisa serving us and giving us a lot of useful information for our stay. A very nice stay! :-)

Excellent location on the main street without traffic, close to the beach, restaurants, and markets. The entire staff was very friendly (Marina, Luisa, Andrea), always smiling, available for advice, always greeting us warmly and wishing us a nice day. The renovated room was beautiful, especially the bathroom – the shower was fantastic, and the bed very comfortable. Most importantly – everything was extremely clean! The breakfast stood out for the desserts they make themselves, with the croissant filled with vanilla cream and cherry being the best. We soon discovered that the food and ice cream offered in their downstairs restaurant are also excellent and have a great price/quality ratio.

The room was a great size and spotless! It is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry dock and the breakfast that is included in the price is phenomenal! In addition, the Spiaggia di San Pietro (San Pietro beach) is a few steps away. BTW....the Sun Pietro Beach Club (Via Spiaggia San Pietro, 4) is the absolute BEST place to have a drink before heading out to dinner. Order an On Carrubo, amaro di carruba Spritz............unforgettable and this liqueur is only available on Ischia.

There are a few mosquitos in the room but not bad. They have these plug in things with blue strips in them to keep them at bay.

Firstly, the staff. We had limited time in Ischia and were arriving before check-in but not only did they accommodate us checking in early so that we could explore but also upgraded our room! It is a boutique hotel so in busier times this obviously cannot be guaranteed but it was a lovely gesture. The room is very spacious, immaculately clean, very comfortable bed, smart TV and good WIFI, all key amenities a person would require. The location - very close to the port and literally as soon as you leave the hotel, you are next to streets with shops, restaurants and it is a few extra moments to the sea. As with the port, the depot for catching buses around the island is also within a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was good, a decent selection - the pastries and coffee being excellent. There are great local Ischian traditions when it comes to cuisine, the hotel is connected to its own restaurant and so you will be well looked after in this area too. Also many other high quality restaurants close by for evening meals. Upon leaving staff were very accommodating in allowing us to keep our luggage for a few hours. All in all, very friendly and welcoming which was an extension of the atmosphere and feeling that the people of Ischia gave us as a whole. We look forward to returning and would certainly like to come back to Hotel Da Raffaele! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

There is nothing to fault!

The location was prefect, the hotel is adorable, very clean. Every morning for breakfast, we were welcomed by Luisa she is a wonderful happy and cheerful lady, she welcomed us by name and would get a coffee for my husband and cappuccino for me as soon as we arrived. The hotel is a family run business, Biaggio and Franco are the owners, these two guys, their family and employees were accommodating to all our needs, they also have a restaurant in the hotel which we preferred eating at. We went to few other places, we didn’t fine them to be as good, so for the most part we just ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The location was prefect, right in core of the down town area. 2 min walk to a great beach area, laundry Matt down the street. 15 min walk to the port.

This hotel was beautiful. Our room was so clean and spacious, the bathroom was a standout! We had a balcony that had a view of the beach at the end of the street and it was great for drying our swimmers and towel each night. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, a good variety of foods, not just cakes. The restaurant attached the to hotel is amazing, especially the pizza! The location was perfect, on the main shopping street, 5 min walk from the port and 2 min walk from the beach. Would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Nothing! Loved everything!

Great location, 10 minutes walk to the port, right in the heart of the small city, loads of bars, caffes, trattorias etc around Great service from the personnel, they really catered to any need and promptly and kindly offered support whenever needed Excellent breakfast, for a rather small B&B in Italy, as part of the night rate to have sweet and also savory options (local fresh cold cuts, boiled eggs, cheese, butter etc) is quite rare at this price. The breakfast was delicious! Raffaelle has a gelateria, trattoria and caffe/bar besides the hotel, we used all of them and everything they do is really good - the restaurant has good food, gelateria and pasticceria also, nothing more you could ask for.

Is worth paying a bot more and opting for one of the recently renovated rooms at the upper floors are they are more bright and have natural sunlight as opposed to the ones located at ground floor. You do get good value for money considering the Ischia average accommodation prices, especially during high season.

The hotel was fantastic! The room was really cozy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were really helpful and friendly. 😊 The location was perfect, close to the ferry, the supermarket and the beach as well. The hotel's restaurant, bakery and gelato was also really great! 😍

The only thing that was a little bit inconvinient was the bad soundproofing of our door. We could here the cleaning staff and the other guests talking in front of our door, in the morning. In addition, just one suggestion: a "do not disturbe" or a "no cleaning please" sign would be really nice addition. And in the spirit of environmental awareness, there could be a sign that the guest does not request the change of the towels, even if cleaning is required. (This is common in many European hotels.)

I loved my stay here. In the middle of town, many restaurants and short walk to the beach. Since my trip was to rest and write this hotel gave me all I wanted. I loved sitting on the balcony watching the people on the street and looking at the sea.

I did not like the breakfast. Not many options. To much cake.

Wonderful, super helpful staff! They made us feel like family. A 10 minute walk from the Port, in the middle of a wonderful historic district, filled with great stores. Just a 1 minute walk to a nice clean beach filled with great beachside restaurants. The room was simple and just what was needed to come back to at the end of a long day. Clean, comfortable, and with good air conditioning! The restaurant and cafe downstairs were amazing. Their food made me feel like I was being fed by someone's grandmother, but with elegance! We plan on going back!
