A lovely building in a great location. Rooms kept very clean and the view from the balcony across to the sea was lovely. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good food in both the restaurant and snack bar and nice cocktails. Breakfast was a lovely selection of fruit, pastries, eggs etc. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool which was a good size for swimming. Staff were really friendly and helpful and kindly spoke to us in English even though it was a mainly Italian tourist crowd.

The room was quite small considering the cost. I don't feel hotels should be encouraging the cleaning of towels every day in these times of global warming. They cleaned whether we put the sign out or not. The snack bar could have had more options such as salads. Italy have made it mandatory to wear swim caps in the pool which will put me off going back. It looks awful, is uncomfortable and I don't see the hygiene benefits. The thermal pool is full of copper so it turns everything green. I would advise taking green or dark coloured swim suits. It does come out but needs a lot of washing.

Beautiful hotel, lovely entrance, great access to the beach, good breakfast and amazing location. We had a very small balcony but still nice. The pools were great and always clean.

The internet was terrible and we always need reliable internet for work. For two days it didn’t work at all and every time we mentioned it they said someone would call IT but then the next person on duty did not know about it. When the internet did work, you had to keep logging in even after a few minutes when your device went to sleep. There is a 240 min limit per day. I also feel it is terrible to charge for the use of a towel. We have never experienced this anywhere in the world including other hotels in Italy. I am happy to pay a deposit to ensure the towel is returned by €8 per towel is unfair and a big negative.

The best location right in the middle of the traffic free shopping area, 2 mins from the beach and walking distance to port and castle. The 4 course dinner for 30 euros was fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I would have liked a steam room. There were 2 spa pools but one was a bit further from main pool. The other one next to the pool we weren't sure what the rules were regarding its use. It would be helpful to have clear written instructions on charges and rules regarding pool use. Coffee in room would be nice.

We were warmly greeted when we arrived and personally escorted to our room. The room was made up for us (family of 4) and the wonderful open terrace had peek-a-boo views of the sea. The pool areas were nice and the bartender in the pool bistro was top notch. Swim caps (lycra fabric) are required but they have them on site. Dinner in the dining room at night was delicious (pre-fixed menu with choices of each course) and the staff was wonderful. The staff helped arrange taxis and ferry tickets and were overall wonderful.

The room was a little smaller than anticipated but we only stayed two nights and it was just fine.

Great location, nice pool and breakfast and lunch are very good. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean. The hotel is well maintained and the grounds are beautiful

Some of the staff were borderline rude. They don't go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as it could be. The pool has a rule that you must wear swim caps. Never done this anywhere I've traveled

Location was perfect. Food was beautiful and hotel was spotlessly clean

Not child friendly at all. Children can't use pool between the hours of 2pm and 5pm. This is not said on website. Pool area full of what seems to be locals. We were starred at constantly, talked about, pointed at. Made us very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was much more than the standard ‘continental’ style of pastries which we had expected from the hotels website. It included a selection of fresh fruit, protein sources such as eggs and very good coffee service with milk.

Being a facility built some years ago, finding one’s ‘way’ around the place required planning. That’s not a critique any more than an observation. We need ti get accustomed to Italian elevators!

The thermal pools were excellent. Great to relax and get away from the heat.

Disposable plastic cups in the room. Difficult to hold and not reusable. A couple of glasses in the room for water would be better. Extra charge for pool towel, plus extra charge for mandatory swimming caps. Finding out the booking.com rate was above the hotel standard rate.
