The hosts couldn't have been nicer. So accommodating and lovely. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options (croissant, donuts, fruit, cereal, juice). The location truly can't be beat. Loved having the balcony. The roof, too, is so great and there's even a partial sea view. The balcony door/windows in the room are triple glass pane so it's super soundproof from the street, even though its right on the main very busy street (I often sleep with earplugs when I travel just in case it's noisy, so I don't know what it would've been like without them, but I think it would've been great). They were fine with me leaving my bags after check out while I went to Poseidon for a few hours. Can't think of anything wrong. Hard to imagine you could get a better value for your money.

The hosts looked after us very well in their lovely hotel. The location is ideal for both walking around Forio, and visiting local attractions such as Giardini La Mortella and Poseidon thermal baths. Breakfast was superb, and the room was comfortable.

Shower was on the small side.

I love the love placed by the owner in keeping and maintaining this property in the centre of forio. The time spent in this property is not about the property itself but is the experience given by the owners, stating from a marvellous breakfast and finishing with friendly talks. I would surely recommend this hotel to my friends hopping to find still a free place next time

We spent 5 days in the Villa Verde Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you need any information about Ischia the staff will help you with pleasure. Hotel location is very good in the centre of Forio. Near the hotel is located church Chiesa del Soccorso where you can see very beautiful sunsets from view point. Bus stop is located 5 minutes walk from hotel. From bus stop you can get everywhere, for example Poseidon Thermal Park, Negombo Thermal park, La Mortella gardens, Castle of Arragon(Porto) etc. Schedule of buses you can see in google maps. Hotel is designed and decorated in Italyan style. Room is humble but there is all what you need. If you are not demanding towords accomondation this hotel will suit you very well. Room has a balcony and a small refrigde. Hotel has very beautiful terrace where you can chill every time. You can order drinks from the staff but you are allowed to sit there with your drinks and food. Across the street of the hotel a grocery store Deco. Also across the street is a very good pizzeria La Tinaia.

For this price it was perfect!

Incredible breakfast (as many other reviews attest to!). It was a great location, 10 minutes from the free beach with lovely restaurants and bars around. Very clean and an absolutely stunning terrace with tables and sun loungers, which we really enjoyed using to star gaze (incredible skies due to low light pollution). Also a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop to take you around the island very cheaply (busses get very busy but are frequent enough - use the Moovit app as google maps doesn't have the bus data). We would recommend the restaurant opposite as well, there was a good choice with excellent quality. I would love to visit such a beautiful Island again. Great value for money.

I would suggest to add some hotel information in the room - we saw the sign for aperitifs on our last day and was sad we had missed our opportunity. Also, a small thing but perhaps new pillows would have made our stay even more comfortable.

Really lovely hotel, we had such a nice stay here. The room was huge, with a private balcony and a laundry line to hang swimsuits/towels. The breakfast was really excellent - the nicest I've ever had in Italy. The savoury options and fresh vegetables were very welcome! Great location, right in Forio. Only a 10 or so minute walk to the nearest beach, and 20 minutes to a more remote one. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was super, super great! In the city centre of Forio and 10 minutes walking distance from the beach. The personnel are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. And the breakfast is amazing— fresh, homemade (and homegrown) vegetables, pastries, cakes and other dishes. The interior is also so homely and artistic. We loved it here! Especially for the price :) Absolutely recommend it.

Villa Verde far exceeded our expectations - it was like home away from home and our hosts went out of their way to make our stay extra special. The food prepared daily was exceptional and the atmosphere caring and personal. The location was perfect.

Fabulous place with unique character. It is small family hotel in the heart of beautiful Forio, run by polite and friendly people. Room was clean and bright and has balcony, overlooking the main street. Place is nicely decorated and has a wonderful roof top terrace, overlooking mountain, where you can enjoy your evening drink. The breakfast, need to mention, was also very good with good selection of food for any taste. Hope to come back here on our next vacations ;)

Location was excellent and breakfast was also fantastic, with an assortment of homemade options. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, we loved the decor and the amazing roof terrace!
