Our stay at Palazzo Rollo was absolutely enchanting. The building itself is stunning full of character, history, and beautifully preserved architecture. The location is perfect right in the heart of Lecce’s historic center, just a few minutes’ walk from major landmarks, cafes, and charming little streets. Despite being so central, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with high ceilings and elegant furnishings. The rooftop terrace was a highlight perfect for enjoying a glass of wine with a view of the city’s baroque skyline. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and happy to offer local recommendations. We’d highly recommend Palazzo Rollo to anyone wanting an authentic and memorable stay in Lecce.

Absolutely nothing

This is an absolutely fantastic property, in the centre of the centre of town! It’s even fun driving in there, and getting the car through the front gates! The staff were really lovely, and the hotel was beautiful. We have absolutely no complaints. It was really hot when we were there, but we had a lovely Apperal spritz on the rooftop every night at 6 pm which was a real treat. We had a couple of nice meals at Doppiozero, which is about 100 m away, and was fun. When you’re out walking around make a booking there for a quick meal And remember not to eat until about 8 pm!

Lovely historic building in fab location next to cathedral square yet a haven of peace and quiet. Staff were lovely and really helpful; good Italian breakfast served in room overlooking the street below. Whole building spacious and well furnished. Highlight was roof terrace where we enjoyed drinks overlooking the city

Access and parking! Lecce is a very difficult city to drive in - narrow roads and so many people. Although we had excellent directions our hire car was too big and after 2 circuits we gave up trying! Hotel directed us to parking on Via Adua 7-8 min level walk and cheaper than hotel parking.

What did we like? Everything! From the detailed instructions of how to get to the Palazzo, the exceptionally and helpful friendly staff, the superb location close to the Cathedral, the spacious room and the amazing breakfast. We had a room overlooking the Via Duomo and we could see the Cathedral belltower from it. We had a 20 m walk to the Duomo square. How neat is that? Right in the heart of the old historic town. The view from the roof is stunning. The two restaurants recommended by the hotel: Volo and Double 00 were great and a very short walking distance from the hotel. The choice of breakfast goodies to eat was super including a Puglian delicacy of pasticciotto baked on the premises was super - if you ask nicely you can take one for lunch!

It's exactly what you want from a historic old town location. The staff couldn't be more helpful and it's worth popping up onto the roof for a pre dinner drink and snack to take in the sunset. Offering parkings is a great plus and the car is very safe for your stay. Helpful guidance when parking is a blessing...you'll see what I mean when you get there.

There's nothing to complain about

A gracious building located in the heart of the city, the location really couldn't be better. You enter through large impressive gates which when they are closed at night make the hotel really quiet and peaceful. All the staff were kind and helpful. The reception personnel gave us some very good recommendations of where to eat and were obliging. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful room with a crystal chandelier .....all very impressive, matched by a delicious breakfast. The roof garden open to only residents has the most spectacular views and is a perfect place to end your day.

This is a beautiful place to stay right in the centre of historical Lecce. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace with views acrid the city. The rooms are perfect. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room furnished with authentic old furniture like it would have been when it was a palace once upon a time. And there are several places to sit and have coffee, furnished in the same way. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially when it came to giving directions through the old part of the city.

We had a beautiful, we’ll-equipped, comfortable room facing the courtyard entrance, which meant lots of visitors below during the day, but very peaceful nights. The staff was helpful in orienting us to the facilities, making dinner reservation for us, and arranging a taxi on our departure. Breakfast was full of choices, including coffee to order, and served in two elegant rooms. The rooftop lounge and bar provided a lovely way to end the day.

CRowds and pedestrian-only location make for a challenging arrival from bus or train—and probably by car, too, though there’s parking in the courtyard,

Palazzo Rollo is a magical place! The building, service, staff, rooms and especially the rooftop are all amazing! The location inside Centro Storico is fantastic—right in the middle of the lively evening passegiatta, walking distance to everything you want to see. The rooftop is stunning—so lush with flowers and plants, with multiple seating areas and gorgeous sunset views. In the morning we brought our cappuccino and Pasticiotto from Bar Matinica up to the roof and enjoyed aperitifs and snacks in the evening. Palazzo Rollo is an exceptional experience!
