This is a little gem. The manager Tullio is SO welcoming and informative about Lecce and the Puglia region (very useful map with top places to see and suggested itineraries). We also had a mishap with our keys and Tullio helped us solve the problem immediately. Gorgeous breakfast on the roof terrace lets you mingle with other guests and share travel stories. The guest house is smack bang in the middle of the historic centre, around the corner from Chiesa di San Matteo and Chiesa Santa Chiara. The Duomo is about 3 minutes walk away (not to be missed). There is no parking in the old town of Lecce so you have to find street parking in the surrounding city streets (make sure you have change!!) but again Tullio was able to advise on good options and we found a space only 5 minutes walk from the guest house.

Firstly our hosts were exceptional, they went beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay & saw the best of Lecce. Communication was excellent, before & during our stay. Lovely, lovely people. The B&B is in an excellent spot of Lecce, you are right in the middle of the old town, street parking about a 5min walk away and very reasonable. The accommodation is super clean, a good size, very comfortable bed, good shower, and super quiet day & night. Breakfast was served outside on the rustic roof terrace-perfect start to the day and what stunning views over the old town. This is absolutely THE best place to stay in Lecce with the most attentive hosts. We shall be recommending :)

This list is going to be long as we LOVED our stay here! It's in a charming 15th-century building, owned by the same family for more than 150 years. We received a warm welcome from the owner Tulio, who's a real character! He's a font of information not only about Lece but all of Bari, he loves to talk (so do we) and he's dedicated to making your stay memorable. Location? Walking distance to everything in the historic part of Lecce. The room was one of the largest we've stayed in, with ample desk and shelf space. Bathroom was small but well-appointed. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was more than ample, and featured many fresh and delicious organic and natural food products. (And the espresso and cappuccino were great.) The young staffer who served us was lovely. The winch and bag they use to get your luggage up three flights was amazing. But all in all it was our host Tulio who made this a truly memorable experience!

We should have stayed two nights, not one!

Lovely place in the old city. The host is very helpful and made it easy to find the place and provided lots of information. The b&b is on the 2nd floor without an elevator. The room was spacious, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a great touch! While the building is on a very small and quiet side street, there's a bar nearby, and on weekend nights, there was noise till early morning hours. If you are traveling by car you must park outside the old city at street parking, which can be a bit difficult to find on a weekend.

Our stay started with an early check-in at 11:00 hours what was really nice. The owner Tullio was more than friendly and we received a map and a little guidebook to see the most interesting places of Lecce and out of Lecce. It was really nice and if we had some questions, we could wahtsapp him every minute of the day. The beds were really good and every day we got clean blankets. In the refrigerator there was every day a cold bottle of water and when we came Tullio gave us a bottle of selfmade Rose wine. It was overwhelming.

If we may made 1 suggestion. The shower could be a little bit better and the shower hose was loose.

We had an amazing stay at this BnB! The hosts were absolutely fantastic – so warm and welcoming. The breakfast they served was delicious and thoughtfully prepared each morning. Our room was very comfortable, with a great bed. What truly set this stay apart was how the hosts went above and beyond for our 11-month-old daughter. They made sure we had everything we needed for her, which made traveling with a baby so much easier. Their kindness and attention to detail really made us feel at home. We highly recommend this BnB for anyone looking for a cozy, family-friendly stay.

Azzurretta occupies a half-floor of a historic building in the historic center of Lecce, so we could. not have had a better location to get a feeling of the old town. Our room was very spacious, with a little balcony overlooking the narrow street. The ceiling of the room was almost sky-high, with a unique shape, and the bed was modern and very comfortable. There was daily housekeeping, the room had a tea kettle, and every morning, the breakfast was served on the open roof-top terrace one floor up. The terrace was always open for the guest, so one could spend time having a glass of wine or sun bathing any time of the day. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and included savory and sweet items, yogurt, jams, and a lot of fruit, and of course, coffee and tea, served the way you like it. Additionally, on our arrival, the owner - Tullio - gifted us with two bottles of wine, rosé and white, produced locally by his friend. Puglia's wines are really good by the way, as we noticed that they were also served at high-end restaurant in Rome. Also, every guest gets a booklet with the map and practical advices, all curated by Tullio, so we did not have to do much research about local and regional points of interest. Overall, we loved Lecce and Adriatic beaches just 30 minutes away, and staying in such a beautiful, comfortable and well-cared for place made out experience even more special. The location was very good, and the owner was helpful in responding quickly to any of our questions. We arrived by train and it was an easy enough walk from the station to the accommodation. We did get a bit lost in the lanes, but we were provided with a good hard copy map, which was helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Each day, fresh towels and drinking water were supplied. Unfortunately, we like a firm to hard bed, and this bed was spongy and soft - each to their own. The room had one window, so I felt closed in! The decor is a little dated, but for some travellers, this may be charming. Lecce old town is a beautiful place - lots of character and not too touristy. We had a great time.

Lovely old building in the historic town centre. Good sized room with an excellent bathroom and shower. Breakfast on the roof terrace is local breads, fruit etc, and good coffee, tea or whatever. Very friendly and helpful host and delightful staff.

Parking is difficult so be prepared to leave your car a walk away. There is a modern secure multi-level carpark 10-15 minutes away which costs €25 for 24 hours. There is no lift at the property (hardly surprising given the age of the building), so just be aware in case of mobility issues.

This B&B is located within the old town of Lecce and is close to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made out stay even better. I was sick during my stay and they took good care of me serving me breakfast in my room. But the breakfast was exceptional and the roof terrace here is definitely a big highlight.
