The location is fantastic, just inside the old town walls and nearby pretty much everything you need for your stay. The accommodation was perfect with great views across the city from the terrace. It was great to be left alone to enjoy our stay. Although we never actually met Pasquale it was comforting to know that he was always available if we needed him via WhatsApp. Pasquale sent regular messages ensuring we were OK throughout our stay including restaurant and bar recommendations, a great stay overall.

Not an issue for us, however there is no lift so cases need to be carried up the stairs.

Location was great. I didn’t meet Julian or Pasquale but they gave easy check in instructions and all the details needed. The terrace on the roof is a nice retreat when you want to sit out and read or enjoy the sun in peace. Bed was comfortable.

The listing stated ‘breakfast included’ but wasn’t. Some people might struggle with stairs as this property doesn’t have a lift. The bathroom shower was incredibly small however this was a minor inconvenience

very central location in a beautiful old building contact with host was nice and easy / also the check-in / great advices regarding parking place definitely a great deal for the price for me as a solo traveller and booking at the last moment it was great

the mattress was a bit hard/old and the street was pretty loud, given the central location (+ my room was on the first floor) however from midnight-1am the street was quiet again and I could sleep well (but i booked on a weekday) shower is very tiny, old, and the water stream is very weak. Nonetheless, i was travelling solo and given the price/the location/the friendly and uncomplicated contact with host , the room has completely fulfilled my expectations. If I travel again alone i will book again there.

It was spacious and in a central but slightly quieter part of the old town. I came from the train station and it was a direct route. Music was everywhere and I enjoyed the unpretentious cafes nearby. The staff were very responsive and helpful. It was close to Museo Faggiano and Tipico, the restaurant connected to a famed cooking school. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Beautiful room with balcony and private bath. Large room, outlets on either side of huge bed. White linens, duvet cover, full mirror, table & 2 chairs. Coffee and tea in common area. Bottled water in fridge. Key access. Location was optimal! Right in the walled old town. Julian was super helpful! Even pointed me in the direction of a mailbox etc so I could ship 10lbs of excess luggage back to the states...really lightened my carry-on load

Communal fridge, no safe place to store leftovers or breakfast items. Would have been nice to have one in room.

I had a wonderful night at And So. Before arriving they upgraded me to a luxury suite which was HUGE, literally like a palace. The location is great — right by the gates to the centro storico, and easily accessible to anywhere you might like to visit in Lecce. They were extremely helpful and also helped me out with holding my luggage the next day. Grazie mille!

The room is located in an antique Palazzo styled building, very nicely renovated. Very central, we walked everywhere. Our room was great, very spacious, high ceilings, beautiful antique decoration, we had everything we needed. The building has a nice rooftop terrace. The communication with Julian was also great, very friendly and approachable, we used WhatsApp

It can be a bit noisy at night, as people stop and talk in the street, and also early morning, as the city wakes up very early :) but nothing you can’t handle

Everything was wonderful. We were upgraded to a luxury suite which was very large and had beautifully painted ceilings. The suite was clean and very comfortable. They also allowed us a late check out which was very helpful. Communication was clear and prompt.

The only improvement would be to have more hangers in the closet.

Everything was perfect. Easy check-in and check-out, accomodating staff, spacious and clean room fitted with everything we needed for our stay (fridge, tv, espresso machine, cot, etc.). The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the train station and right in the historical center; perfect location. It is worth mentioning that a member of the staff contacted us after we checked out to inform us we have left a piece of clothing behind. Kudos to the staff for that!
