It is one of the best places to stay in Lecce, in my opinion. Perfect location to access all of the historical town and parking close by. Rooms were beautiful and so clean. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Lecce.

Was a little bit difficult to find as there were no signs. The best bet is to ring the guys, and they will be straight down to you. See the picture of the door to look for.

I am an architect, probably that's why I am quite demanding with my accommodation needs when I travel, so I usually spend a lot of time selecting the best property. Great location in the very centre of the historical city and special, unique interiors with a strong connection to the history of the place I am visiting is what I am usually looking for. I found this and much more in this (too short) stay at Roiss Haus. We were lucky enough to stay in the Octagonal Suite, which is definitely the best, and one of the most amazing spaces I have slept in my entire life. The view to the lively streets and to every detail of the Borrominesque fasade of San Matteo church (so close you feel you can touch it) kept me charmed - literally - day and night. I swear that I could NOT sleep at night, because I was too charmed by that view, the breeze on that balcony and the feel of the city around. I bet you will miss it too, when you are gone, as I am missing it while I am writing this note. If genius loci is more than an expression for you, there is no better place to experience it in Lecce than these elegant, minimal, airy suites, with their subtly interwoven layers of Baroque architecture, Art Nouveau interiors and Italian Mid Century design!

Beautiful apartment, excellent shower, great location 2 minutes walk from piazza san Oronzo. Host very responsive to messages and questions

Location inside traffic exclusion zone means we needed to plan well ahead for parking and luggage drop off. Unfortunately the message informing us of this was only sent on our day of arrival whilst we were flying so I didn’t receive it. Also front door of apartment building is not well signed and difficult to find. Access for people with mobility issues might be a problem ( 2 flights of stairs, no lift)

Massive rooms, stylishly decorated and renovated, super comfortable bed and pillows, plush towels, location could not me more central and perfect, very historic palazzo, super duper clean, someone will help bring the luggage up (the stairs is a lot), highly recommend. Our room and small balcony was facing the Chiesa di Matteo (pls request for that). If you can splurge, get the room with the spa!!

They could offer more than 1 pillow for each guest - because it feels very spartan with just 1 pillow (especially if you’re a couple), apart from that, nothing negative. I’ll choose this again and again. Great value for us!

Location was great, right in the old town, and everything we did in the town was walking distance. We didn’t expect to have a sauna and steam room in the room, not that we used them….it was just too hot outside. But in cooler months these would be great. The room itself had beautiful high vaulted ceilings, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good. When we asked for tea (we are not coffee drinkers) we were presented with a box of PG Tips, perfect! We slept well, no noise from the street below.

There is no lift up to the apartment, it is an old building after all. William was there to help us with our cases when we arrived, but we had to take them down ourselves as we left early this morning. Also the bed is on a mezzanine with a flight of stairs up to it so not good for visitors with mobility issues. Not a problem for us, but this is for info.

Excellent location in the heart of historic Lecce. You are staying in converted Palazzo built in the 1600s with hand painted ceilings from the early 1900s, it is really incredible. A short walk up stairs to the suite. Very modern tasteful renovation, clean modern bathroom. We stayed in one of the large suites which had a wrap around balcony overlooking the adjacent church and streets below. A special accommodation and good value for money.

Air conditioning perhaps struggled a little given the size of the room (it was 35 deg C outside temp on the days we stayed for reference) - only criticism from a wonderful stay.

Room was excellent, very spacious and with a very high roof. Large TV with all the usual apps, could use my Youtube account without problems. Balcony was nice, would have used it more had I stayed in a warmer season. Price was extremely nice when I stayed, in the lowest season.

The central heating could be active for longer periods, but I understand that this might be strictly regulated by law.

The feel of a palazzo! So spacious, clean and well decorated - we loved our stay. The host - Guglielmo’s - efforts to help us and guide us with recommendations - including making bookings at restaurants and taxis - made our Puglia holiday super special. He was there to receive us and wave us goodbye - we will return :)

Everything. Chiaria and Guglielmo really take care of their clients. All the informations to get to the place were clear and they also provide recommendations of restaurants, bars and places to visit to enjoy the city. Also the room (or the suite??) was outstanding and very well places at the heart of the historical part of the city, very close to the restaurants and bars.

Style and design on the quieter side of gloriously baroque Lecce. Friendly staff present in the morning, very responsive all day through Whatsapp.

Buzzing system against suite doors made of metal is noisy and will wake up a light sleeper. Management: consider padding the doors with felt or something to mufle that vibration.
