The location is excellent, a fifteen-minute walk from the train station in a quiet area at the edge of the old town. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the suite, which has a terrace that's ideal for lying back to enjoy the cool of the evening after a day's exploration of the old town. The host and staff were very nice and very helpful, and were able to provide us with a nice vegan breakfast (just mention any dietary needs when you book). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Interesting building. Loved our room but always appreciate a balcony so that we can see the sky when we wake up. Gorgeous breakfast, beautifully presented. Terrific host. Serena very friendly and generous with her time. Regretted not booking LaCucina as it looked great but was fully booked. Maybe next time…Grazie

The location was fantastic - in a quiet area, a two minute walk from the centre. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely too. The building was newly refurbished and looked lovely.

The nights were quite cold and although a brilliant heater was provided, we would have been happy with just a few more blankets on the bed. The bathroom was clean and new, but tiny. It was good to have the bigger bathroom outside too.

I LOVED this place!!! I got a little nervous when I showed up and all the doors were locked, but I sent a message on Booking app and on WhatsApp (the number was by the front door) and within 5 minutes someone showed up and let me in. He took me to my room and gave me all the info I needed. He didn’t seem to concerned about payment and check out time, and told me they’d take care of it after breakfast the next morning. Indeed we did. Everyone was nice in the morning and breakfast was decent. The location is great! Right in the old town and had a wonderful time walking around knowing my room was right there if I needed it. My room was also huge! I think I lucked out, but I had an entire apartment to myself. Beautiful stone rooms. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The place was very homey while still being a gorgeous historic style Italian apartment! The owner was very kind and responsive over text, and made sure to introduce herself at the included breakfast! The breakfast was incredible and very authentic Italian meals! The location was wonderful too, very close to the city center so everything is walkable and transportation is close!

Casa Mamma Elvira is in a prime location in Lecce. The room was very clean, the hosts were very friendly and provided all kind of recommendations of what to do in Lecce and around! And the breakfast… golden!! Fresh fruits, fresh pastries, great coffee to wake up!!! They do a great job making sure you feel at home away from Home. Location is great and very close to one of the piazzas that have great restaurants! I’m pretty sure we will be back to Lecce and stayed at Casa Mamma Elvira!

Lovely staff, very helpful. The breakfast buffé was plentiful and fresh. It is a good location in the old city, but quiet. Our flat was spacious, well kept, and very clean. Overall, the Casa Mamma Elvira is a place we would be happy to return to.

Hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with a large, comfy four poster bed. Small balcony with table and two chairs. Hosts served a wonderful breakfast, including frisa and moka coffee.

Bathroom is small and needs updating, but it was very functional- nice string shower.

Amazing hospitality! The room was clean and perfect for one night in Lecce as we road tripped across the south of Italy. The hotel is just next to their restaurant La Cucina, where we had a fabulous dinner. Great location
