It was so authentically elegant! We were shocked when we walked into our room - it was very spacious with lovely furnishings, sumptuous drapes, grand windows, very high ceilings, great water pressure, comfortable bed, a real safe with a key, lovely public spaces, and our car was parked in their garage(very secure). The breakfast was bountiful. The palazzo is an historic building right in the heart of Lucca. Very impressive! The staff was kind and very accomodating. Anna was delightful and Alessandro was very helpful and filled with good suggestions. We felt like we were in Versailles.

The facility generally was amazing. The double room was dark and not laid out ideally for us. This being said - the staff was fantastic, helpful and the vibe of the palazzo made all guests feel special. Perfectly located, quiet after hours and just a spacious relaxing elegant environment to return to after exploring beautiful Lucca and other Tuscan gems. We received assistance in securing a reservation for a Michelin recommended restaurant - very appreciated! Thank you to Alessandro and your staff for a lovely and memorable stay. We will be back!

We had a very spacious bathroom - a bathtub would have been amazing. With privacy blinds, very little sunlight made it into our room, which with limited lamps and dark walls made the in-room time feel very dark. Outlet space near the bed or table area would have been really appreciated to charge phones/laptops, etc. Overall, really minor bits here.

Location was so central within the walled city. The rooms were so spacious and comfortable. The palazzo is beautifully restored with intruiging artwork and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but just right.

Loud road works going on outside the palazzo and a temporary road surface that was extremely loud at all hours when vehicles drove over it. This is not the priperty’s fault and hopefully the road works will be finished before Summer.

LOVED PALAZZO TUCCI!!! We had a rental car and it was wonderful to be able to have a private parking space behind locked gates. The palazzo is beautiful! We felt like royalty having breakfast in such a fancy room. The breakfast food was very good, they include hard-boiled eggs which are my favorite. I loved the town of Lucca so much that I'm planning a trip where I will make Palazzo Tucci my home base and take train day-trips to nearby cities like Florence, Pisa, Viarregio, etc. The rooms are so big; tall ceilings; beautifully decorated with antiques. We truly felt transported to another era. This is one place I will definitely come back to again. Highly recommend you rent bicycles (half block from Palazzo Tucci) and ride on top of the walls that enclose the historic city of Lucca. The walls are very wide and are ideal for families with children because you can enjoy the gardens while exercising. Lots of mothers with baby strollers, people running, walking, strolling. We received recommendations and reservations (by hotel staff) for dinner at nearby restaurants (great choices); don't miss the Piazza Anfiteatro restaurants. Thank you Alessandro Tucci!!

The bathroom in our room was enormous and there was plenty of room to install a bigger shower, but we got one small semi-circle shower in the corner. It was alright, not a deal-breaker though.

Our stay at Palazzo Tucci was exceptional! The home was beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The host went above and beyond. Communication was prompt and friendly, making the check-in process a breeze. The location was perfect, providing easy access to local attractions while offering a tranquil retreat. This experience exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

It is grand palazzo, with ornate, original and decorative features. Our accomodation was a destination, and the highlight of our trip to Lucca. Located in the centre of the old town, it’s a sight on its own. Highly recommend staying here, you will remember your stay for the rest of your life

We only stayed 4 days, would have liked to stay in the palazzo much longer

Spectacular building……huge rooms….particularly the main salon……..where a perfectly good continental breakfast was served……with great eggs (cost eggstra!) …….excellent coffee and great service. Perfect location for exploring the city……close to all key points of interest, restaurants and bars……but not too noisy. Alessandro was an excellent host.

Lovely and cool in the peak of summer. Big spacious rooms. Although in the middle of Lucca, very quiet location. Great to have on-site car park.

Breakfast could have had more fresh fruit and savoury options. Children drank the sweet juice and ate the coco pops only.

Fantastic location, huge room and very clean.

I know it was the Lucca festival and it was fully booked, but staff wasn’t very flexible (eg we wanted to leave the car another half hour) but I understand it was a busy weekend.

The location is perfect in the centre of Lucca. Being able to leave one’s car in the safe, private garage and immense bonus. The staff was very friendly and co accommodating. Finally, to stay in such a beautifully and well kept historical building was a privilege.
