Beautifully presented accomodation, centrally located so everything was accessible with just a short walk. Room was spacious, clean and had a great bathroom. Rachel was amazing when we booked a room last minute after needing to change plans, she was friendly, kind and gave excellent recommendations that we loved! She was easily contactable throughout our stay to answer any queries and also let us store our luggage so we could continue to explore Lucca after checking out. The whole experience was very smooth and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Wasn’t a huge deal for us as we only had small bags but if you have large pieces of luggage there are a lot of stairs to climb and no lift we could we see.

The room was lovely and spotless and had a beautiful view of Lucca from the terrace. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Lucca. Honestly the best thing about our stay was the host, Rachel. She was extremely communicative and helpful, she advised us on parking, she helped us with our bags, she helped secure us a taxi when we left, and she went as far as to search for wedding villas in the Lucca hills for us - Rachel, you were a delight - thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Wonderful place, few meters away from San Michele and Napoleon squares in the very heart of Lucca. My room was very large and comfortable with a truly amazing view of San Michele cathedral and the Apuane mountains behind, Rachel was a superkind guest. I fully recommend to stay in this place if you're visiting the beautiful Lucca.

Nothing to say only that my room was at the 4th floor: some stairs are the price to pay to stay in heaven ! ;-)

The worlds greatest Rachel helped us in record time, after our previous booking did not show up as agreed. We stayed in beautiful room 8, that has a stunning view. Rachel made sure that our time in Lucca was very enjoyable, giving us great tips on what to see and where to eat. We miss Lucca already (and Rachel).

Would have been nice to have an elevator

The property location is as good as you will get within the walls of Lucca. I like the few flights of steps up to the room because you need to walk off the great food you eat while in Lucca! The room was spacious with a great balcony to sit out on in the morning and evening. The reception staff were lovely and the cleaning was great. Check in was straight forward, as was check out. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved the property. We did buy our own electric kettle. There is a fridge and lots of room so a cheap kettle would be a great asset.

Large room with separate sitting room. Full size refrigerator and air conditioning a real plus. Modern, spacious and tastefully redone bathroom. Comfortable bed. Surprising quiet, given its location in the heart of Lucca, with two of the major plazas just a few blocks away. Restaurants in every direction. Marco, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate our late arrival (around midnight) due to delays with our flight from London.

With only 6 units in the hotel, there were no common facilities, and no elevator. A tough climb if you have heavy luggage. But we knew, when we reserved the unit, that it was a walkup.

Rachel’s welcome was very welcoming and helpful. We were only in Lucca for a very short time but she gave us some excellent tips on how to make the most of it including renting a bike to cycle the wall…which we did at sunset and it was stunning. Thank you Rachel!

The pillows were rectangular And very hard.

Great location, spacious, tastefully decorated, large bathroom and shower. Gave us an earlier check in time.

Had difficulty checking in, but Marco was helpful from remote, thankfully. Air conditioning was in room, but not very effective, just a minor issue.

We were on the top floor…80 stairs…but it’s worth the effort as the view was fantastic. Location in the center of action. Rachel manages the property and is wonderful

A stunning suite, beautiful view of the church, perfect location - easily walkable to everywhere. Pure luxury and great value for money
