- good lively location - rooms rather simple but very comfortable and spotless clean - very good phonic isolation, especially for the rooms facing the canal - VERY good restaurant serving classic Italian dishes on site. The restaurant staff was really great - the 2 Simone were just amazing. - good value and will stay here again

Everything. This is a classy 4 star which delivers more than most 5 stars I’ve stayed in. Check the staff - especially Teresa (think I’ve got the name right; slim, glasses and will break many hearts if she hasn’t already) and the big, friendly Asian guy (sorry for not remembering his name) plus every other member of staff I came into contact with. Superb. Loads of history with the building, great position, classy food priced to market. I’ve stayed here 3 times and, seriously, I can’t fault it, all of which means: I’ll book a revisit without question. Many thanks to all concerned.

Absolutely nothing

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Located in a busy area along a canal. Lots of restaurants and bars along both sides of the canal, very lively area. The reception area is adorable. Tastefully decorated, pleasant staff. Our room had a lively view of the canal with a cute window that opened up for viewing! Nice size room with generous sized bathroom! The bedroom was also tastefully decorated. We ate dinner at the restaurant that is attached and it was great! We will definitely stay there again if in Milan in the future!

Hotel located in Navigli district which is easy to get to using public transport. The Duomo is a 30 minute walk but it’s flat and easy to get there. The area outside the hotel is busy with bars and has a real buzz about it. We ate in the restaurant which was the best meal we had on our travels and we ate well in Italy. The food was excellent, wine very reasonably priced, the service was attentive and the waiter was delightful. The lounge area was pleasant . The reception staff were helpful and all the staff were welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning efficient. the shower was large and powerful.

The breakfast was disappointing. More choice of prepared fruit would’ve been welcome. The room was smaller than expected given the price paid. There was only had one chair to sit on so one person had to lie on the bed. There were no tea or coffee making facilities . These had to be purchased separately in the bar.

Charming little hotel on the canal. It’s lively at night time so you do not need to wander far. The outside noise was not disturbing. It was a decent sized room for my son and I. We had two single beds. The beds we quite firm and uncomfortable for us. Breakfast was nice. I sat outside the front of the hotel for dinner one night and enjoyed it. Was a little disappointed that being a guest did not get you any benefits when trying to get a table. The wait was worth it and I enjoyed my meal. We checked out on a Sunday and we able to meander through the markets. We caught the tram to the Duomo. Tram is approx 5-10 min walk. Can buy ticket from the tobacconist near the stop.

Shower temp was a tricky to get right. Beds too firm for our liking and I do like a firm mattress.

Lovely hotel right on the canal in Navigli. We had a massive hotel room on the third floor with loads of space. But despite being in the heart of Navigli district the hotel room was very quiet and comfortable. Really nice staff and lovely restaraunt in the outdoor patio garden for an evening meal.

Breakfast options were a little disappointing. I had to ask for soy milk which was then provided on demand and croissants were not very fresh unfortunately.

The hotel was located on the canal 20 mins outside the centre of Milan. There are numerous trams available for easy access in and out of the city . Its a great location as numerous good quality restaurants within easy walking distance for the evening. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel in the courtyard as it is really noisy on the front as it is such a lively place. Great room, really clean all good. Free water was a great touch .

Lift working but they carried our bags up . Breakfast could have started a little earlier as we had to leave so only left us 15 mins to eat . No coffee making faculties in the room . this would have been a perfect touch .

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcomed. Our room was located with a beautiful view of the canal. Restaurants on the canal were convenient and served delicious food!

The only recommendation I'd make is that the hotel provide tub mats in their bathrooms. The floor of the tub is slippery and dangerous when wet. A tub mat would provide a more secure feeling when showering.

The hotel was in a very good location, right on the canal and surrounded by lots of good restaurant options. About 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest tube stop, mainly along the canal. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We had a courtyard facing bedroom which we liked. The hotel is in a lively area in the evenings (which continues to the early hours) and I was concerned about the noise, but we couldn't hear anything from our room which we were very happy about. We had dinner in the resurant one night and the food was excellent. All in all a very good stay.

this place was lovely! Room comfortable and well equipped, beautiful patio and spaces to be outside the room. We had an inner court yard room, which was specially quiet. The staff is helpful and friendly, the place beautiful. I would stay here again with no hesitation!

the only suggestion I have is to add body lotion to the toiletries offered in the bathroom, other than that everything else was great!
