Walking distance to Duomo and the neighborhood had many choices of restaurants, cafes. Very close to Navigli which is our favorite area to visit.

The ventilation fan was a bit too loud every time someone uses the bathroom. The wi-fi was not too accessible.

All perfect. The room was hot all day n night. Water for shower always hot day n night. They were cleaning the room every morning waiting for us to leave the hotel without touching our personal objects. Bed so comfortable for sleeping. Location is the best could have. You don’t need car. They even have shower gel n shampoo in bath. They call you a taxi if you want to go far. We stayed a week and heard no noice. Silence like we were alone but was full.

The only thing that was missing is a mini fridge. That’s why I rate 9. I wish I could rate 9.5 !

La Vignetta Hotel is on a relatively quiet street 10 mins from Boconni University which is where we wanted to be. I found the Milan transport system to be cheap and effective although the direct tram to the centre was closed due to track replacement (August - September 2025). The hotel does not offer much in terms of facilities and the front desk is not always manned and is definitely closed after 21.00pm. Staff were helfpul when available. Room was confortable, clean with a good shower and very good AC. Price and value were good compared to other options I considered. No food or meal options available at this hotel.

The couple in the room next to me decided to have a full on row at 1.30am so the rooms are not entirely sound proof. Banged on their door and told then to shut up which seemed to work.

Since it was a last minute booking, I focused on the rating and the reviews, which were already high, so I booked it; and I'm so glad I did. I loved that there were plenty of cafes, shops and dining options to explore and choose. It was near a cute plaza, and made for a very walkable and comfortable place to be for two nights. Just less then a half mile, there is a park that is lovely to walk through and relax. I very much appreciated the staff; they were all very kind. I especially appreciated getting to sit in the lobby, after checking out, until it was time for me to make way to my bus. I would absolutely stay again.

I didn't like that I didn't book an extra night or two. Hmm, I didn't like that I didn't explore the quaint sitting area, mid-floor. Oh, and I certainly didn't like that I did not get the names of the staff so that I could extend a personal thanks to each of them. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

The location is perfect, near a lot of good places and public transport. The room has a decent space, where you can walk around and sort your bag out just fine. The bed is super comfortable, and the sheets and duvet are great, 10/10. Toiletries were very complete and had a kettle in the room. The bathroom had some renovated bits, and the shower head seemed brand new, so the cleaning is really good! The shower cubicle door doensn't open too much, so me, a slightly bigger person, has to squeeze in, but it was big enough inside. AC is great, and they have a cold water dispenser in the lobby which was really helpful in the milan heat! Awesome! The staff was lovely and helpful. Great hotel, I would stay again while in Milan for sure.

I wish it had a lock box. Everything else was great!

Excellent Stay – Clean, Great Location, and Friendly Staff I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The only thing I missed was a small fridge in the room, especially considering the very high temperatures during my visit – it would have been great to keep some drinks cool. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

The staff were great, very friendly and took time to check us in (not like some hotels that can't wait to throw you the key and have you out of their hair). The room was spacious and spread over 2 floors, we travelled as a couple but there was an extra bed that meant a family of 3 could have comfortably fit in the room. The room was cleaned after the first night of our 2 night stay and the cups had been replenished that we used in the morning. As the hotel is in the Navigli district you have easy access to the bars in the surrounding area which is very handy after a day exploring the city. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Milan.

It was a clean cosy modern room, well equipped but missing a little frigo. The bath was very clean. It was quiet in the room. Location is convenient, within walking distance from tram stops taking you to different directions. I recommend this hotel for a short stray as for a longer stay there is no frigo in the rooms to keep some food or drinks.

I did not like that when I requested an extension by 1 night, the hotel quoted me a much higher price than we paid for the stay

I liked the hotel, and I recommend it. The room was clean and cozy, large enough in size, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted with all inquiries. The hotel's location is great. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to all the city's attractions.

It is important to plan ahead on how to get to the hotel. Taking public transport would require several transfers. However, if you have the option to take a taxi from the city center, that would be the best option.

Great location close to public transport and many restaurants, bars, local supermarkets. Helpful reception desk that can answer any questions about your stay or Milan in general. Modern rooms with a comfortable bed, air con, multi shower and a smart mirror to connect your phone to for playing music. Rooms cleaned everyday meaning the room is spotless each time you come back from your day exploring. A key fob allowing you to get back into the hotel at anytime. Which I found more convenient than having to be let in at certain times by reception.

I personally can’t fault this hotel.
