Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the courtyard and veranda surrounding as much as we might have, because the courtyard garden seemed to be the designated smoking area. It might be more representative of the general culture/attitude around smoking in Italy rather than to this particular hostel. We left/avoided the courtyard whenever anyone smoked to avoid exposing our child to second hand smoking. It would be lovely to have a separate designated area for smoking, so that non smokers can enjoy the available green space as well.

The staff was so lovely, friendly and accommodating! Really made for a great experience. The facilities are extremely clean, specially for a hostel, and I loved how basically every room had almost their own bathroom - I never had to wait to use it, and the water pressure was PERFECT as well as the hot water, taking showers there was great. The hostel is inside a park so a lot of green spaces, every morning when I woke up I could listen to the birds singing and it was so peaceful with the sun entering through my windows. The kitchen is spacious, you can cook there if you want, and it was a nice bonus that breakfast is included, you save some money there. Lots of books and board games available in the common areas, free wifi, and the metro is very close. In only a few stops you are in the city center. I definitely would stay here again!

The rooms are quite spacious - not the most comfortable beds in the worl but honestly not too bad, particularly for the price.

It's closer to a metro station, they give you clean towels, the breakfasts they give to you a generous kit and give to you coffe, milke and cereal as you want, also they have a drink machine really cheap and just in it's prices. The Mister even let me use the shower by free on the final of the day even if I was already checked out.

At night it can be sliced hot, since there is Air circuled by fans, but there was no mosquitos so there was no problems in sleep without a blacked. It's probably because the facility seems to be more prepared for a cold weather, so just by the hospitality of the staff I would come back.

The location is excellent — very close to the metro, which was super convenient. The staff were amazing and always ready to help. A special thanks to the senior gentleman at the reception — we arrived very late, after 11 PM, but he showed us everything and helped us check in without any issues. The hotel has a slightly retro atmosphere, reminiscent of the Soviet era, but everything was very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was included in the price, which was a nice touch. One of the biggest advantages was the large kitchen, fully equipped with everything you might need — a huge plus! Our stay was great — thank you very much!

I like the staff. They are really sweet. Location is pretty good. 8 minutes walk is the metro stop. The small breakfast was nice and they have unlimited tea/coffee any time of the day.

I stayed for one day so it didn’t bother me.. but they have only one working shower in the hostel. Checking in night could be little difficult as the path has barely no light. Bed were not comfortable. Ceiling fan wasn’t working

OstelOlinda offers excellent value for the price. It’s conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the M3 yellow line tube station, which provides direct access to central Milan. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay. They provide a small breakfast bag, and there’s also a breakfast room stocked with coffee, tea, milk, and cereals. While the hostel could benefit from some upgrades, it’s a solid choice for a one or two night stay.

Staff was exceptional. It exceeded all of my expectations in every way. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a group, this hostel offers something for everyone. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Italy, and I will definitely be staying here again. Very nice staff making surprises for their guests. Free coffee&milk and breakfast! It saved me so much :D I felt safe, had my privacy as I was alone in the room. It was warm and quiet.

The bathroom was a bit dirty (hair) and the mattress&pillow were not 100% convenient. Plus I’m tall and was placed on the bottom bed, so I hit my back about the corner of the bed at night.

Loved the facilities and the staff was super nice, helpful and friendly. They were also able to accommodate for my needs which I really appreciated. They have lockers with sufficient space in the room and the beds were comfy. I also really lived the common lounge area and the kitchen is very homely. Close to restaurants and shops; easy to get there from the train station and the staff will even send you a video to guide you. I'd definitely stay here again!

Breakfast wasn't fantastic (for the price it was probably alright though) and in the lower floor the bathroom wasn't in good condition, the shower didn't work in that floor and there was only one toilet, although if you don't go in high season that's not really too problematic.
