Good location in the centre of town, close to Giuntabus bus stop, port and a lot of restaurants. Spacy room, exceptional cleanliness, very good breakfast. Kind staff.

Shower cabin was much too narrow. There were no racks in the bathroom where to hang towels. Air conditioner sometimes worked, sometimes it didn't. Time after time a strange noise came into the room resembling as somebody knocking at my room; when I opened the door nobody was there. When I left the hotel early in the morning, it occurred that the person working as receptionist during night does not speak English. It was not very easy to explain to him that I have already paid the most part of my bill, and obviously he was not able to verify this fact in the accounting system of the hotel.

Francesco greeted us warmly at Reception and was a constant source of information and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. He even obtained his Grandmother's family recipe for Caponata (which we love), carefully transcribed into English with printed versions in both languages for us to bring home. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, tons of restaurants, cafes and shops as well as the Aeolian Islands ferry port and the promenade sea wall. The breakfast buffet assortment was huge and delicious, attended by two lovely ladies who kept replenishing to ensure it was always fresh, and bringing countless cups of fresh coffee. It was a delightful visit and we'd highly recommend this property.

The hotel is excellent, clean, and very convenient if you want to travel to the Aeolian islands. I have to give particular empasis to the staff. They were more than helpful, extremelly hospitable and generally they were very professional. Especially, the young lady and the man who were at the reception the day we arrived.They were patient and gave helpful information to all the people who were waiting in the queue before us. Breakfast was excellent with fresh products, mostly sweets but it had cheese and bacon, and so on. The hotel has a parking which is very convenient. I have to mention that we were able to leave our car at the parking for three days that we were at the Aeolian islands. Thank you very much.

The location was central for the harbour, ferries and restaurants. The breakfast was great and the room was fine with kettle and balcony.

I had an unfortunate incident with the manager but he was very apologetic.

Staff were so lovely, kind, helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Air conditioning was excellent. Room comfy and sweet. Very clean hotel. Easy walk to town. I would love to come back!

Bed was hard. Not terrible, and sleepable, but hard for side sleepers.

We chose this place because it was located within walking distance of the ferry terminal. They allowed us to leave our car in their underground car park for the days we were on the islands (at only €5/day). The room was big and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpul (even when we struggled with each others' language). We would love to return!

The carpark was hard to find. It had a tiny, steep entrance ramp with a very small sign on the wall. It is precarious to reverse a car down there. Perhaps they could paint some orange stripes on the columns in the carpark, and make the sign bigger and brighter. Also, they could use their website to keep some pictures of the landmarks on the way the carpark, so that it would be easier to find the way in.

It was a very clean well. Ai gained property with friendly staff. Old world charm close to the Port Area.

A couple of hiccups but all in all a good easy stay.

They mentioned that they are close to the beach. In fact, they far away from the closest swimming beach.

Close to the port for an early (8:30) departure in the morning. Custard-filled croissants and cappuccino made by a real person at breakfast.

Possibly the smallest hotel lift I've been in - I'd be surprised if even a small wheelchair would fit. There are ground floor rooms but the breakfast room is in the basement.
