We chose Montecatini Terme as our base for exploring Tuscany. We stayed for five days, and since it was August, the temperatures were incredibly high. After daily sightseeing, we would return to the pleasantly air-conditioned hotel and head straight to the pool after a shower—an absolute lifesaver in that heat. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff is very friendly, creating a pleasant, relaxed, and almost homely atmosphere. All this at a more than reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Beautiful grounds, lush gardens, very comfortable and inviting seating areas, great and helpful staff. Clean nd pleasant rooms, terrific service, good food. Whoever scrambled the morning eggs deserves kudos - yummy, never dry and overcooked

Didn’t like the bathroom for guests’ use on Floor -1. Needs work, tho clean, and didn’t like it one floor down from dining and restaurant and pool facilities

While traveling through Italy, we choose this location as the best for visiting Pisa, Florence, Lucca and Cinque Terre. We stayed for three nights. Surprised and delighted by the beautiful place of Montecatini Terme. The hotel is good, located a little further from the center but close enough to walk to the center. Large room, bathroom, hallway. Huge windows in the room, which if you open, you have a special feeling and sleep very well. The food is varied, both hot and cold breakfast, and salty and sweet dishes. Daily cleaning of the room and change of towels.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We returned chasing great memories and it didn’t disappoint. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant inside is amazing and it is one of the highlights of the hotel. The cuisine is wonderful and the servers are the best. Especially Massimo. We love the family ambiance the hotel has. Great breakfast selection and the view from our room was truly panoramic and beautiful of Montecatini.

Wonderful hotel. We have stayed there before, and hopefully will again. Very large room, excellent breakfast and great 3 course dinners with great cakes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Massive car park across the road and a good location for seeing the many attractions of the area.

It would be nice to have a rack with leaflets showing the "what to do in the area. Other wise absolutely nothing.

Very well placed for trips out. 45min drive to lucca which is so worth visiting. Less than a 5 min walk down from the hotel is the funicular railway that takes you up to Montecatini alto. This is a must. Stunning views and so picturesque.

Had problems with people putting towels on the pool chairs and going out for the day!!!! Did speak to the hotel desk but was met with a shoulder shrug. 1 person from the very large coach party was left to 'guard' the chairs each day!!!!

The location- the hotel is surrounded by trees and is at short walk from the city center & the railway station. Good connectivity with Florence & Pisa. Clean room, bathrooms, and bedding. Friendly & helpful staff. Good wifi speed. Breakfast was fine. Value for money (last minute deal of the day for an economy double room) Funicolare (cable car) at a walking distance.

No space to lock the valuables in the room. (The shelf was without a door.) Exhaust in the bathroom was noisy. There was no separate switch for it. Bread options in breakfast can be improved.

We have just come back to England from a wonderful two week holiday in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany, staying at The Hotel Panoramic. We went there as a special holiday to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary with our two daughters, aged 18 and 16. It did not disappoint. With it being Easter, the weather was a bit of a mixed bag, but it did not stop our mixture of exploring and relaxing. Review notes; Hotel Eating and food Surrounding area Hotel; We were made to feel very welcome at the hotel and the staff were so patient and helpful for the whole of the stay. Indeed, even before we arrived, I had emailed several times with questions regarding travel to the hotel and facilities etc. The responses were quick, cheerful, clear and helpful. Carmela and Emanuele manned the reception desk most days and helped us with all sorts of things which made our stay and various adventures much easier. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony and adjoining rooms. There was a small fridge in our rooms which was very helpful for keeping bottled water chilled and food we bought for lunches. The Hotel itself is very well kept with welcoming seating areas dotted around for a quiet read during the day or to sit and listen to the music that is on some evenings or even to sit and okay cards as we did sometimes. It was a bit too cold to swim in the pool, but I enjoyed sitting by it and reading and the girls and I took advantage of the spa facilities during the first week of our stay. There is an additional cost for this. We had paid for breakfast each morning which was a fabulous spread and we were all so happy that we did. It also made sure our teenagers actually surfaces before midday and helped to get us up and out. Eliene and the rest of the breakfast staff were always so cheerful and helpful, offering freshly cooked waffles, pancakes, omelettes as well as a feast regularly spread for you to help yourselves to.

The location was great. It is near to Pisa, Florence and Lucca. Also the room we had, was very spacious with a balcony with Mountain View. We were lucky that we had a balcony on north-east, so we didn’t had the sun on there in the afternoon/evening. The rooms are very quiet, because the hotel isn’t at the busy part of Montecatini. The breakfast was good, in a all-you-can eat buffet. There was a lot to choose between. The walk to the city was 10/15 minutes, depending on where you want to go to. For us it was close enough. The city itself was nice to walk through and to have dinner every evening. Going up to Montecatini Alto with the funny train is also recommended, also to enjoy the view on Montecatini-Terme.

There wasn’t any coffee or thee facilities in the room. Beside that I can’t think of anything else. Everything was good to expectations.

The hotel was perfect in terms of location; it has a HUGE free car park right next to it, that can be used by everyone. The hotel is at a crossroad of two busy streets and at just 1 min walking distance, we had a gorgeous terraced restaurant and a 24hrs laundrette. If you do not have a car, there are several other interesting places to visit, such as a discotheque nearby or other restaurants, but slightly further. The rooms were comfortable, with lots of storage places and although they could show the age of the hotel, the bathrooms are all refurbished and very very modern. The swimming pool is the place to lounge to when it is hot in the area, but the key to our stay was the breakfast. It was the best we ever had in Italy, the Brazilian lady in charge, makes the best waffles in town. Everything was quaint and welcoming and we LOVED the lady owner, she is hilarious! We will come back!
