Great Stay in the Heart of Town We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Its central location makes it easy to explore the town, with shops and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Parking is limited due to the hotel's location, but we managed to find a spot in the hotel’s designated parking area. If needed, additional parking is available about 700 meters away. The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise—the food was absolutely delicious! Our room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night. The breakfast was enjoyable, offering plenty of variety and great food quality.

There was nothing to complain about during our visit. Everything was well taken care of, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. We’d definitely return!

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Benaco. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the interior was beautifully decorated, with a surprising amount of art and photography throughout — a nice touch that gave the hotel some personality. Our room was tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our stay smooth and easy. Overall though, it was a comfortable and clean place to stay with nice design details and good service. We’d consider staying again.

A couple of small things could be improved: the hair dryer in the bathroom felt outdated and wasn’t very powerful, and while the bathroom itself was spacious, the actual shower area was oddly tight — it might be uncomfortable for someone who needs a bit more room.

Charming hotel in a great location (by the lake and in the city center). The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available for a fee near the hotel at public parking spots or in the hotel's parking lots, one of which was next to the hotel (€18 per day) and the other further away (€9 per day). If you spend the day hiking and come back only in the afternoon and leave early, the cheapest option is to park at the public parking spots by the lake, where parking is free at night. We mostly used this option, only once leaving the car in the €9 hotel parking lot (about 600 meters from the hotel). Breakfast was plentiful and included both savory and sweet options. We liked that the hotel had a good value-for-money restaurant where we could have dinner. However, if desired, there are many other dining options nearby. We were very satisfied with our stay.

We enjoyed the view from our superior room balconies. We had the windows open all night and the noise was minimal this time of year. I noticed the air conditioner and ceiling fan which I think are wonderful for the summer. Our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the breakfast room welcoming! The terrace area with whirlpool/hot tub is very inviting. I used the hot tub on the morning of departure, but it was not very hot (930am). Perhaps it needed more time to heat. I recommend the hotel and area to anyone. We walked along the shore of the lake and will return with bikes.

Good location. Breakfast easy self service with plenty of choice to suit all. Restaurant area very presentable and food to high standard. Observed hotel staff diligently going about daily routines. House maintenance team definitely add value to hotel. Room very clean.

Room decor a little seasoned maybe a little spruce during off season. Soft mattress.

Hotel Benaco is right on the lake. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony looking down the lake. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was extremely quiet at night. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to have an excellent breakfast included in the price. When we left the owner gave us a pot of local honey. What’s not to 👍

The location was amazing, direct by the see The people extremely friendly The restaurant is so good with very good Italian food and reasonably priced (Thank you for the best Lasagne I ever had) We got a parking spot on a very short notice So many restaurants and bars nearby The breakfast was also very good (fruits, croissants, eggs, pancakes, jam, cheese, and bread) The filter coffee was superb

The shower area could be a bit bigger, but was not a problem at all

The location was amazing and the staff was very kind. The room was comfortable, however a little bit noisy due to the neighbors (walls are thin). Anyway we had a great time here and plan to come back. The breakfast was good, we had everything that we needed. The watermelon was especially delicious.

It was not highlighted that the parking place is 10 min walk from the hotel and you need to pay extra 9 euro per day.

Very nice hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and great restaurant with delicious breakfasts and suppers. A nice surprise for painting lovers - the hotel walls are also a gallery of 19th and 20th century paintings collected over the years by the owners of the building. Hotel is located near the lake, yet close to the city center. It's near to the main quite busy street but the windows are well soundproofed.

I enjoyed the food, the beautiful landscape , it’s was so peaceful . Friendly staff. Room was cleaned every day which was fab, towels and bedding changed every day which was fantastic . I would return . It was a shame that we could not use the hot tub. A few more bars would have been nice.

The room was a little dated . One extra English Channel would have been nice. The table and chairs that are at the rear of the hotel, soft sofas would be a nice addition in this area
