The owner is great, very helpful and gracious. The rooms were very clean, AC in every one, nice and soft towels, shampoo and shower gel included (nice scents!), good WiFi. Localization is awesome, very close to good restaurants and some museums. Beware that the lift is very old and very small (two people max, no way to fit a wheelchair or stroller). Pretty quiet at night, especially for city centre. The only slight problem (if you can call it that) is that the description said "breakfast included" and perhaphs it should be specified that it was an "italian breakfast", so you could eat one sweet pastry and take one coffee/tea and orange juice/water. Anything else was paid extra.

Francesco greeted us at the door, and was flexible allowing us to check in quite early. He was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Cafe breakfast was actually quite good...the sfogliatelle pastry was the best we had in Naples, and i had it for breakfast every morning. Paying 50 cents to use the elevator is a nuisance but is the rule of the building, not the B&B, and they tried to make it less bothersome by giving you 2 50 cent pieces for each day of your stay. The location could not be better. A short walk to the National Archeology Museum and a 10 minute walk to the Spaccanapoli street, the historic center of the city. the price can't be beat for such a well maintained and well located property

paying for the elevator, which was also uncomfortably narrow.

Excellent location, friendly staff and very clean. In case you need to check out but you still have time to visit the city they let you leave the luggage in their facility. Room are spacious and very quite. Breakfast is just 100m from the apartment but is perfect to start your day. If you stay in this apartment is important that you know that in order to use the elevator you need to pay 50cent per trip but the host is trying to help you with the cost and they are very fair and they let you know immediately about this little detail. Overall highly recommended!!

The host was amazing! He spoke English fluently and gave us a lot of tips about the city. The room was very spacious with high ceilings. Although the window and balcony were on a busy street you couldn't hear anything when closing the big blinds. It was very clean and well maintained. The complementary breakfast was at a nearby café and it was delicious.

The building requires a 50 cents fee for using the elevator. This is out of control of the owner of La Smorfia so he reimbursed for a trip up and down each day of our stay. There are stairs that you can use as an alternative.

The location was excellent. Close to what we wanted to visit. Right in the Historic Center of Naples, just a few steps away from the archeological Museum. Close to 2 metro stations so it was well connected. Our room was pretty big.

We had to pay extra for the (very) late check in. But Antonio was super nice and the lady at the reception very helpful.

Clean and spacious room and bathroom, tastefully furnished to a high standard. Basic Italian breakfast provided, using vouchers for a café across the road. Reception seemed to open only during the morning, otherwise can be contacted by phone. B&B La Smorfia is within walking distance of the Archeological museum, the centro storico, and metro stops Cavour and Museo.

It is located on the 3rd floor of an old "Palazzo", which lends it a certain charm. Be warned that you need a 50c coin to make the lift work! Staff a La Smorfia will help you with this if they are present, and reimburse the 50c; but the difficulty is not the expense, but having to have a 50C piece handy (if you have luggage and need to use the lift).

The room was very spacious with a renovated bathroom and air conditioning. Overall the BnB was clean and very modern and we felt safe at all times. Our host was very gracious and sat us down to give us restaurant information and city transport advice.

Something that could've been better was a more comfortable bed. The mattress was pretty stiff and it seems like more could be invested into a better mattress. Additionally more bedding options and comfier sheets would be a plus.

I cannot recommend this apartment strongly enough. Our host Tony came out on the street to find us when we arrived and greeted us with a big smile. All the staff gave us fantastic advice on what to see and do in Naples. The complex is a little hidden retreat; so quiet, beautiful, and soothing in the busy, bustling city of Naples. Some reviews mentioning the lift as a negative, but it’s manageable, and not really an issue, just make sure you have 50 cents handy! A real bonus that Tony patiently taught us some Italian, loved that!! These guys have been getting 10 star reviews for over half a decade, they know how to do it well!

La Smorfia is extremely well located, and we could walk to a lot of key places easily. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a large wardrobe to store our luggage. Our host was excellent and very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we are in Naples!

The only minor challenge was with the building itself (not La Smorfia), as there is a small lift that requires 0.50 euro to operate and had some issues with working on one of the days. La Smorfia did everything they could to accommodate us in this respect and we really appreciated it.
