Overall amazing! The location was perfect, right next to the archeological museum. And only a 10 minute walk from a lot of sights and fun neighbourhood with a lot of life and restaurants (around Piazza bellini). The place itself was great with an amazing terrace with a lovely view. And the best part of all: the host! He welcomed us with open arms and was so so nice! Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

The bathroom didn't have a door, only a curtain. This wasn't a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. Our room also didn't have windows to the outside, the windows opened up to the living room. This was also no problem, because if we wanted fresh air we could go relax on the amazing terrace.

Great location, big terrace where you can relax, Giullio helped us with everything we needed. Rooms, hallways and terrace are filled with various figurines, paintings and other amazing historical stuff which makes the place look like a museum.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but nothing that would make or break your stay. There was a problem with water pressure and hot water. The hot water was coming and going away in waves but also nothing detrimental to our stay.

The rooms are small but comfy. Plus there is air conditioning, so you can rest well in the Napoli heat. The host, Giulio is very friendly and the common areas of the place are out of this world, there is even a baby Jesus with the deer and the shepherds and blinking lights... also an amazing roof terrace where you can have your supper and relax next to a small pond with a fountain and goldfish etc. Giulio allowed us to use the fridge, so that was helpful! Thank you, Giulio! Cheers! Located right behind the archeological museum, it is in the heart of the city and within walking distance of many sights.

There was only one flaw, the toilet is separated by a curtain, but to be honest, who cares, your traveling companion can just wait and watch the city from a roof whilst you poop. The shower and the rest of the room are more than good.

The host, Giulio was a real gent, happy to help but not obtrusive. The location was excellent, next to the two metro stations and within walking distance to most of the city's attractions. The guest house is very clean and secure. We loved how it was put together full of curiosities and arty stuff, tasteful and eccentric. The balcony was excellent and a real retreat from the frenetic goings-on from the streets below. The beds were very comfortable and despite the noise of the city outside it was remarkably peaceful and quiet.

The lack of privacy when carrying out your ablutions could be a problem for some (not for me). There was no door separating the shower and toilet from the room, only a curtain

I loved the location, cafe, supermarket and metro station right on doorstep practically. Close to centre…easily walking distance but we always hopped on the metro. Right by main attractions - museum etc. the host is super friendly, accommodating, responds quickly to questions and helpful. I was worried as arriving at midnight about finding the place, but Guilio sent pics and gave clear instructions, and answered my call as soon as I arrived. really felt like I was just staying at the property alone, other guests were quiet although I barely saw anyone! nice rooms, quirky decor, like a museum in its own right! perfect stay! air con and wifi both very good too!

Absolutely loved the interior. We felt like staying in a museum. Giulio is also one of the most charismatic and hospitable hosts we've ever encountered, could not recommend enough!

Initially there were some problems with the shower not having hot water, however, Giulio fixed the problem super quickly and afterwards everything was great:)

A very special, artistic room in a preserved building. We loved the place! It's at the historical center, next to the Archeological Museum. Everything you need (food, drink, metro etc) is nearby. The owner, Giulio, is a very kind and helpful guy. We have great memories from our stay there. Highly recommended!!! Giulio be well ❤️😊

What a fantastic apartment, like a wonderland off a rather pokey stair (to get the lift to work, you'll need a 20 cent coin and there's a lot of stair if you do not have one) it is certainly a hidden gem. Spacious entrance with 17th century ceiling paintings, big living room and roof terrace. Lots of things to look at and well considered, quirky lighting. It's charming in a maximalist, arty sort of a way and our host, Giulio, was friendly and enthusiastic. The bedroom had excellent air conditioning and was nice and clean. It has a great location too, on the edge of the historic centre, a very short walk from the Archaeological Museum, a metro station (line 1) and railway station (line 2) only one stop from Centrale.

Some of the bathroom fitting had past their best, the shower holder had lost a grip of its rod and pivot, while the basin plug was too hands-on for comfort. To the sensitive, our room's WC had no privacy beyond a curtain; so, unless you are fine with the sound and smell of your partner using the WC, or can arrange some sort of timetable when one is in and the other out, that could be a bit of a turn-off.

Very charming place at a very good location (central, yet not that much noise from outside and that in high season), Giulio is a very friendly host as well. To us, everything was how we expected it, or even better!

Everything as expected so nothing we did not like, as we knew how it would be. I can imagine for others it is different but everything you can find on Booking is accurate :)

The location was excellent, and the property absolutely stunning. There is an access to a gorgeous terrace which was utterly delightful to sit on at the end of the day. Guilio couldn’t have been more helpful, and should be proud of his fabulous establishment
