Staying at La Perla is a wonderful trip back into the 1960's, when the hotel was built. Much of the interior and decoration remain unchanged. Very kind welcome at arrival and friendly service at breakfast. Wonderfully clean oceanfront lounging and easy acces to pristine waters. No restaurant, but within a 10 minute walk excellent dining at Byblos.

The small sand beach west of the hotel shown on photos is not operating and strewn with trash. No problem, the acces to the Mediterranean via a secured rocky ledge and ladder is easy.

This was the perfect spot for our family to relax for a weekend. It’s rustic, but beautiful. The staff were all lovely and kind. The pool overlooks the sea and there’s a little beach where you can swim in the sea under the watchful eye of a lifeguard. We spent 2 days outside in the pool and sea, snorkeling and swimming. Bar and food close early here, so plan for that.

Those looking for a “Four Seasons” type resort will be disappointed. This has a Euro feel that we liked, but that fancier people might not enjoy.

The location, away from the bustle of town. The sea breaking on the rocks beneath our window. Staff were exceptional, from reception to dining to cleaning staff - all smiling, helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic, lots of space, comfortable bed, nice linens. The breakfast is AMAZING, a fabulous spread of sweet and savoury, including home made cakes. Great attention to detail and serving platters were replenished before they were even half empty. Good quality coffee machine. Fabulous 360 degree view of the sea. We will be back.

The staff is very accommodating and nice.

The location is a bit far from the center and I did not have transportation and in this heat it was almost unbearable. There was no where near to get a snack after 7:00 pm.

The position of this hotel is beautiful. Lovely pool and access to the sea. Staff charming and helpful.

Nowhere to sit in the evening. Pool area closes at 7pm and the lounge bar not open.

The Hotel operation : Run by three very nice elderly gentlemen from 1950. even though their hotel is fantastically well situated But the entire operation is charming but not too profesionnal

fantastic panoramic position (just over the rocks , directly above the sea) - easygoing and co-operative and kind staff - good swimming pool outdoor , just over the sea

the hotel is in a quite isolated area (about 5 min car / 15 min walk to Ospedaletti ) and 10 min car to Sanremo ) , it makes easier moving by car - no shops close to the hotel

We really loved the location and the direct access to the sea. Very comfortable platform and the seaside facilities including the swimming pool. Staff was vary friendly and kind.

There is room for improvement concerning the breakfast in terms of selection. The bathroom in our room was very small.
