Beautiful hotel. We had read some negative online reviews prior to arriving so we weren’t sure what to expect. Everything was lovely though and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. We had a great experience at Casa Nostra. Highly recommend!!

A/C wasn’t very cool. It kept the room moderately cool but the weather was pretty mild while we were there. Not sure what that would have been like if it were really warm out.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a lot of good places to visit and were always ready to assist. The breakfast buffet was delicious. They had all the basics like toast, eggs, fruit, ... but also local specialities and the possibility to order pancakes, sausages, eggs benedict with bacon etc. The room was a good size, with a view on the beautiful courtyard.

Even though we really liked the room, we noticed a lot of ants in the bathroom and the bedroom area. I feel like this is easily solved and other guests seem to have had the same issue. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect!

An oasis in the middle of the city. The location is ideal, the facilities are excellent and the staff are exceptional. One of our favourite places to stay in Sicily. The front of house staff are real professionals and enjoy what they do which comes across from the moment you enter their Casa. The breakfast is incredible tasty and generous. We even ate in the restaurant one night which was an amazing experience as they fused a bit of Japanese influence into the Sicilian cuisine. Lastly, if you’re an athlete professional or amateur you will absolutely love their spa facility - steam/sauna/hot pool. Perfect for recovery. & almost forgot the room was generous size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Best of night sleep of the trip.

Nothing at all - don’t change a thing! Please open up other hotels in other cities

We stayed at Casa Nostra for three nights during our honeymoon, and it was hands down the best hotel we experienced during our entire trip through Sicily. What made it so special wasn’t just the lovely, clean room with a great balcony but the exceptional staff who went above and beyond every single day. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just with professionalism but with warmth and genuine care. Georgina checked us in and immediately made us feel at home. She gave us great tips about the city, showed us around the hotel, and continued to check in on us throughout our stay. She was kind, thoughtful, and made sure we were always comfortable. Vincenzo was incredibly helpful when we inquired about renting beach chairs in Cefalù. He gave us multiple options, made excellent recommendations, and guided us through it all with patience and care. He also helped us navigate the tricky parking situation in Palermo which is no small task! And then there was Matteo, who, along with Vincenzo, actually helped us move our car into a free parking spot so we wouldn’t miss breakfast. That’s the kind of above-and-beyond service you rarely see! We truly felt like we were staying with friends who cared about our experience, not just hotel staff doing their job. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. But honestly, what made this stay so memorable was how much the staff cared. Every day, they greeted us not just with a smile, but with genuine interest in how we were doing and whether there was anything they could help with. It was a wonderful way to end our honeymoon, and we’re so glad we chose Casa Nostra. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side but you truly get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a carefree, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming stay where the staff actually cares about your experience, don’t think twice — this place is worth it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 An unforgettable stay! The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Palermo — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. But what truly made my stay special was the incredible staff. A massive thank you to Matteo and Vincenzo — from helping me find the best local pizza to organising a late checkout with a spa treatment, they went above and beyond in every way. They made me feel truly cared for, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If I ever return to Palermo (and I hope I do!), I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, kindness, and a real Italian welcome. Grazie mille!

Our room was absolutely beautiful with good facilities and a very comfortable bed. I liked the location as it was very central without being on a busy main street, so you had the benefit of peace and quiet as well as proximity to everything. The staff were absolutely wonderful at all times. Reception organised everything I asked them to with no issues. The most wonderful, though, was the guy who hosted breakfast every morning. He truly brightened the morning. And speaking of breakfast, this was another highlight. There was a great selection for breakfast, including cooked options. Everything was clearly of a high quality, and all the cakes were homemade and delicious. The spa area is a great facility to have at the hotel, but a couple of things didn't work properly. Maybe a bit more attention could be paid to this. Having said that, it was available for all guests to use at no extra cost and is a relaxing space to spend an hour after being in the busy streets all day.

We loved everything! The staff is amazing and goes beyond any expectations to make sure your stay is pleasant. The mattress and pillows were among the best we’ve ever tried! The decor is nice, simple and elegant, the neighborhood is quiet and silent. We didn’t try the SPA as we didn’t have much time and wanted to explore as much of the city as possible. The rest of the family stayed longer, they had a chance to enjoy the restaurant and had amazing words about it too! We have no words to thank enough the staff and everyone who made our stay the loveliest one, we’ll be back!

Highly recommend! The front desk team stands out for their warmth and genuine hospitality. The room was well decorated and quiet, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. We stayed the weekend arriving from a red eye flight and the staff took our bags to our room and invited us to catch the end of the terrific breakfast in the courtyard. Everything we wanted to explore was just 15 minutes of walking away, and we felt safe at all times. Great value, especially considering the generous and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The best thing about the hotel were the staff. Absolutely first rate: professional, helpful, friendly and we were really sorry to say goodbye at the end. The hotel is clean, in a great area and with an attractive inner courtyard. Beautiful window boxes crammed full of petunias lay beneath every window. The hotel is also perfectly situated to walk to most of the city's main features. Terrific food from the chef and lovely breakfasts. Wonderful holiday and hope to go back one day.

It seemed a little odd to have to pay for a decent cup of coffee every breakfast. There was a machine that dispensed free coffee but it was not good. A hotel of this standard should provide basics like great Italian coffee free or within the hotel charge for the room.

The cool thing about Palermo is you’ll be walking down a street crammed with people, where buildings are unkempt and crumbling, covered in graffiti, and then you turn your head and there is a paradise tucked in amidst it all. That was Casa Nostra. The facilities are stunning. The decor was modern but in a way that married perfectly with the history and style of the city. We were only steps away from mercato del Capo (one of the city’s many markets), and yet our corner of the street was so quiet. The location was also moments away from Quattro Canti and the intersecting streets bustling through it. We were moments from Teatro Massimo (of Godfather III fame) and countless sights like the Palermo Cathedral. Truly 11/10 location. Could not ask for better. You could go sightseeing, return for a swim and a snooze, and re-emerge to explore the nights without a single means of transport beyond your legs. Our room itself was on a corner with balconies and floor to ceiling doors/windows on both sides of the corners. We arrived in a heatwave that was broken by heavy rain and storms. Sitting on the bed with those two windows wide open while a breeze blew through the room as it poured rain after an extended and severe drought in Sicily was magical. I’ll remember that moment always. Behind the hotel is a little oasis of a courtyard, complete with pool and restaurant service under fruiting banana trees and amidst abundant flowering vines. The details this hotel specializes in shone through here, down to baskets on each lounge chair so that each guest might keep their items neat and aesthetique. It’s a touch I very much appreciate. Having a breakfast and coffees available in the hotel was a lovely touch that allowed us to enjoy leisurely mornings getting ready before we braved the city heat.

The bed itself was a little firm for my liking. It had a soft topper over a firm mattress but that wasn’t quite giving and responsive enough for my physical needs. (I have a bad back/neck that requires a bit more give.) I also wish the room had a chair! Just one little armchair to sit and read in the window would have been perfection. There was certainly enough space in the room we had.
