The location is excellent, situated close to both the central train and bus stations, and about a 20–30 minute walk to the historic center of Palermo. The area is quiet. The room is very comfortably furnished and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Marco is very kind and helpful. I would gladly stay there again and would recommend Suite del Ponte Normanno to anyone planning to visit Palermo. 😊😊😊

I have no complaints — everything was perfect.

We needed advance instructions as our phone wouldn't work with an Italian SIM. The owner and cleaning person were very helpful with this. Close to the train and bus stations. Easy walk to the botanical gardens and municipal park on the sea. The room was airy and light, the bathroom modern with good water pressure, and there was a mini fridge with bottled water. The bed was firm and similar to on we had been using in Sciacca.

It would be good to switch the hinges on the fridge door to the same side as the cabinet hinges for easier opening.

The room I was provided was really comfortable as were the facilities built with a modern bathroom and king size bed. It was also quiet at night when trying to sleep which was surprising considering it was on a main road. The building was also very close to the central station so access to other cities was reasonable.

The only issue I had was that the lift to the third floor looked old and unsafe to use so I decided to use the stairs every time.

-Traffic noise from outside. Obviously this is not in the hand of the host. Maybe a prime location next to a busy road just brings these things with it. And the chorus of horns of the locals doesn't help. -Very thin walls, you can hear everything from the next room. Also apparently the bathroom of the next room was adjacent to our bedroom making it depended on your neighbors when you can sleep. - The combination of outside noise and the noise coming from adjacent rooms made it hard to get a good sleep.

Location of property was good; beds very comfortable.

Access to property at 5:30 at night was dreadful. Access to the property took place over the telephone which was very extremely difficult. A passerby assisted us over his telephone to access the building. Having to send photographs of our passports over the phone was not acceptable. We feel the property manager should have been in attendance. We are thinking perhaps property this should not be on “Booking.Com”

Stayed in the Suite: king size bedroom, ensuite sink/toilet/bidet and huge shower. Large lounge with sofa bed, table, smart TV. Another shower room and toilet. Kitchenette with fridge, gas hob, coffee machine, kettle for gas hob. Cleaning service every other day - really nice touch so new towels, bins emptied, bed made. Check in easy - all done remotely by chatting on the phone. Texted the team with any questions via Whats App. responded promptly and helpfully. Location - local environment 15 minute walk from the start of the centre. Walked everywhere for 6 days - always something to find and see.

An electric kettle is quicker than a gas kettle. That would be all I would change!

This was a lovely stay, clean and comfortable modern room with lovely big shower. it is very close to railway station which is what we wanted for early train out. at front of station you can get a bus to pretty much anywhere in Palermo, ask for a day ticket E3.50. entry into apartment was by phone so you do need mobile data and to use What’s app.

Not many restaurants nearby but a moderate walk straight down the road, turn left out front door, hits a small round about with a number of bars and restaurants nearby.

Super clean and modern room and bathroom, the beds were very comfortable. The cleaning lady was extremely nice and made it possible to check in early.

Before arriving we got a WhatsApp from the owner asking for our personal documents. Upon arrival we had to call the owner so we could get in the main entrance. The hallway is dark and the elevator about to break down.

Fantastic stay, very clean, very well quipped, easy check in and check out and a very friendly host. It's in a great location in terms of access to train station and the touristy areas of Palermo but the surrounding view is quite okaish and TV was not a smart TV, which was a little bummer in otherwise a great stay in Palermo, Highly recommended!

It is finished really nicely, looks exactly like the pictures, the jacuzzi bath was great, decent towels provided, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked the best it could (we were there in a crazy 40+ degree heatwave)

To gain access you need to WhatsApp the owner - so make sure you have enough data roaming. As other people have said, it’s not the greatest area of Palermo, but it certainly didn’t feel ‘dangerous’ in any way.
