We stayed at La Casa Rossa for 5 days, and it was a perfect experience. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view from the balcony and terrace is amazing, with a direct sight of the cathedral and the city. Waking up to such a beautiful view was a highlight of our stay. The facilities and bathrooms were very clean, and everything was well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices, including fresh bread, cheese, and other tasty options. It was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. There was also plenty of parking space, which made our stay even more convenient. The location is truly the best in Piazza Armerina, close to everything you need. My pregnant wife and I felt so lucky to have found this place. We enjoyed it so much that I promised her we would come back next year. We already miss the view, the relaxing atmosphere, and the amazing breakfast. Thank you, La Casa Rossa, for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

We actually booked here but ended up staying down the road at the owner's father's guest house - la Casa Sulla Collina D'Oro. It was great - wonderful views of the Cathedral, a plentiful sweet and savoury breakfast, quiet room, housekeeping and parking on the property. The two properties seem to tag team and deal with spillovers from one to the other. Our host Luciano was kind and generous. You do need a car as it is about 2km from town but with safe parking at the guest house and free parking right by the old town it was one of our easiest Sicilian road trip stops.

Exceptionally good. Spacious with nice painting and decorations everywhere. The reception was also great! The owner came out as soon as I arrived in front of the parking greeting me with a large smile and showing me anything that I needed to know. My room had a direct unhindered view on the cathedral. The experience was better than many starred hotels I have been to! And the price was just a bargain for the service ! Only warning, you need to walk a little bit to get to the city center, but with a 10-15 min walk you can already reach several restaurants, 10 min more for the plain city center.

Excellent staff. Very helpful and welcoming. It's in a quiet location with fantastic views of Piazza Armerina (attached). We stayed for two nights; the first night we stayed as a couple, and the second night as part of a group who rented the entire property in advance of a wedding (wedding venue elsewhere). The hosts were very understanding and flexible, and couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Although we booked casa rosa, we came for a check in to the La Casa sulla Collina d'Oro, and were offered to stay there since those two belong to the same family. My review is of the Collina. The view. Just incredible! Wish it was a bit warmer in the night to be able to fully enjoy it from the outside. Dining area is incredible. We were told to help ourselves with whatever. Breakfast is perfect. You can not eat all that is offered.

The beds and doors squick and so we woke each other in the night getting up. One thing that bothered me very much is that they did not let me know i forgot my 3 bottles of medicine there. We were still in the area that morning, i could have gone back to get it. I think it is a common thing that a hotel would call you if you left something (and it was in the bed, not in the garbagge). Second thing i did not like is that they charge you additional tourist tax although in the booking it says all is included in the price.

The location is wonderful with a spectacular view! Luciano was very friendly, showed us everything and let us choose which room we wanted to take. The whole house is beautiful and makes you want to stay longer. We had breakfast in Luciano’s other location and it was really tasty - both savory and sweet! There is enough room to park the car safely, we just walked into the city to eat.

If there are a lot of people in the breakfast area the noise reaches the rooms, because there is a lot of open space around the staircase. If someone is a light sleeper he will definitely wake up! So ear plugs for light sleepers are highly recommended!

We liked the nice view of the big cathedral of Piazza Armerina from our room.

The furniture in our room seemed to be awkwardly placed and we could not easily watch the TV. Also there was no host on site overnight so we felt a bit neglected although when we met our host on site to receive our room keys and we found him to be very friendly and welcoming.

Great view from the place. It was only us during the stay in the hotel and we could use the balcony to drink wine while looking at Piazza Armeria. Good selection of breakfast. It was the best price/value for our stay in Sicily.

Perfect location with an exceptional view of Piazza Armerina. Private parking provided for guests and also an abundant and delicious breakfast. Luciano is the perfect host, nice, welcoming and available for anything one might need. We had a huge room at the second floor. Breakfast was served in the other house and it was a good opportunity to see it and enjoy another perfect view of Piazza Armerina.
