l loved talking to the host, hanging out in his Enoteca and talking at breakfast. We were joined by another Italian couple and it felt as if we're just old friends, chilling out. He definitely boosted the score of this stay. Sure, you can rent a bigger room with better view somewhere else but how many places will you remember when a great host is missing?

I don't know of it's a Sicilian thing cause it happened in a different place as well but toilets don't flush as they should lol. One needs a bucket full of water next to them. The wifi doesn't connect and if it does it's very bad.

Giovanni (Johnny) is a superb host. He was there to greet us and gave us a choice of rooms. We spent the evening at his bar where he fed us with local foods and Sicilian beer and wine. Make sure you try his own olive oil, A1. We had a great time with him and the next morning had a super breakfast, all around 1 table with our host and other guests chatting away. Comfortable and clean. We were only there 1 night as passing through.

May appear a little old fashioned in this old town but that isn't a slight it just makes it different.

Difficult to find a more charming host than Giovanni. The view from the breakfast table is stunning over the rooftops of the city + view of the main church. Very authentic stay, walking distance to the center and great restaurants / wine bars. Very few tourists when we were here in May.

Beware of the steep steps to access the rooms. All find by us though! Slightly squeaky bed in the top floor room.

The location was very nice and quiet. The breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks, along with the a pleasant company with the owner and the rest of the other guests. Bedding was soft and comfortable as well. The owner was very nice and patient, who waited for us past the checkout time after we were having trouble finding a taxi to the place.

There was just one small thing, the bathroom window was a bit revealing. A little bit of a tint would be great to be honest. My girlfriend felt a bit exposed after realizing there was a balcony in front of the window. But a little cover up with a small towel and it was all good.

The room was comfortable, exactly what we needed after a long day/night of travel. The host was extremely friendly, including inviting us to his shop for a cheap-but-SO-tasty supper and wine tasting. He was attentive and actually sat and talked with us throughout the evening despite the language difficulties - I loved having a chance to practice my Italian! Breakfast was amazing also, with plenty of options, and again the host served us and sat and chatted with us. He definitely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

As someone used to the very prominently labeled streets and house/business numbers in the USA, this place was hard to find. Had I been smarter about it I would have found somewhere to park the car once we were close and just walked around to find it - as it was also my very first time driving through these kind of narrow hilly Italian roads. If there's some way to make the sign more prominent or provide clear directions/pictures, that would be helpful.

We had a fantastic time here. The owner ownes a little shop where he offered us some tipical drinks. We had a good chat and laughtera with him and also with other guests. Also the breakfast was amazing with a good cappuccino and sweets from the bakery nearby. The B&B is located in the historical old town. It's central and only a few kilometer to the amazing Villa Romana del Casale.

I stayed for one night. The apartment is located in the old part of town. It had a perfect view of the Duomo. Giovanni the host was very friendly an extremely helpful. He is very engaging with his guests and arranged very nice breakfast for the stay. Kudos for the hospitality!

The rooms are accessible through staircase. The host was very helpful to carry my luggage up the stairs.

Everything was perfect! Umberto is such a nice and helpful person, he helped me with everything I needed, made me feel safe and cozy. In the morning he kept me nice company in the breakfast and talked to each other and I learned some Italian words from him. Also, the breakfast was amazing!! Umberto gave you everything you could ever want to eat, I felt like a queen and I really loved the fresh fruits from his own garden! The view from the balcony upstairs is panoramic and so beautiful! If I will ever come back to Sicily and Piazza Armerina, Umberto’s B&B will be my first choice for sure!

lovely host in a small bnb in the centre of the town with a lovely restuarant opposite. Close to several historic sites. Very friendly host and good atmosphere at breakfast.

Very narrow little streets means (free) parking about 500m from the bnb, also two steep flights of stairs from the street but these are not negatives.

Place worth visiting with very friendly, helpful and communicative host, who provided excellent breakfast. The accommodation is situated in the city center and offers nice view from the upper floor.

Limited view from the bedroom, mouldy bathroom, limited parking on the street, older equipment of the rooms.
