Loved our room, just one of 3 on the property which meant it was quiet and relaxing. The staff were exceptional and always happy to help including providing a yoga mat for me! Loved the roof terrace with seating area and direct access to the beautiful beach with sun beds, rock shoes and beach towels provided. The property is located 10 mins walk to a couple of lovely restaurants by the marina. A pleasant 30 min walk to the old town and its beautiful bars, shops and restaurants. 15 euros for a tuk tuk home. Bikes are provided and a cycle lane into town takes 15 mins. Breakfast was stunning!

Nothing. We honestly can’t fault it or the holiday itself.

We just loved staying at this property. It has beautiful gardens, a terrace which overlooks the Adriatic and the coast of Polignano a Mare, and a beach right next door, all which make you feel like you are in boutique resort. Parking was free and on site and our breakfast which was included was simply divine and plentiful. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s about 2.5km out of town which makes it that little bit more peaceful being away from the crowds, however only a 10min bicycle ride to the centre of Polignano a Mare. The host and his staff were so polite and helpful at all times. I highly recommend this hotel.

We liked everything

From the moment the gates opened at the property, we felt like we had been transported to an amazing,secret garden full of gorgeous areas to sit and chill and a breakfast area that was so beautifully presented, we couldn’t wait to put it to the test the next morning. The communal roof terrace was incredible, with views over the sea and to Polignano as well. Our room was spectacular. The decor was so well thought out and every amenity you could hope for was provided. We were also offered free beach shoes so that we could get in to the sea over the rocks. Right opposite the door to our room was another door, which when opened, we found ourselves directly on the flat rocks with access to the sea…..bliss. It was only a 5 min drive in to Polignano where we parked in a car park with ease and explored this beautiful town. Breakfast next morning was delicious. There were loads of choices. Fresh yoghurts and fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and delicious coffee. The staff are brilliant. So helpful and so friendly. We would highly recommend this slice of paradise if you are visiting in the area 10 out of 10

Everything was Amazing

We loved having access to bikes. We biked to dinner every day. It was a slight incline on the 15-minute bike ride into town, but it made the post-dinner ride downhill very enjoyable! We also enjoyed the terrace, which was a great place to read and enjoy the views and ocean breeze. The breakfast spread provided plenty of delicious options and the fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent! The staff was available, attentive, and provided great recommendations.

The air conditioner wasn't working particularly well during our stay. The windows didn't provide much breeze and there weren't any windows with a view. Some nights we had to sleep with our door wide open, just to cool off.

We stayed in the Thanassos suite. It’s one of just three rooms right on a private beach 10 minutes north of Polignano a Mare. It was very nice but would have been magical if we didn’t experience a big storm. Nevertheless, the quirky and imaginative décor and dramatic sea made for a cozy experience. While feeling very private, staff was readily available when needed and breakfast was great. Town was close by and easy to find parking. Or, if better weather, bicycles are provided.

Great base to rest and visit Puglia, in a quiet, beautiful place on the coast. Great terrace with fresh breeze, overlooking sea & direct access to sea from hotel. Fresh room with style and ambiance. Beautiful garden. Extraordinary breakfast and very nice staff. Bikes available to explore Polignano, the coast, or the close by restaurants in the area.

While the room is sufficiently big to feel comfortable, it is not huge.

This was a gorgeous property and the photos are a very good reflection. The views from the upper terrace are stunning. We really enjoyed spending evenings there with a glass of wine watching the lights twinkle on the Adriatic. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful with making plans. The breakfast was delicious with fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, pastries and eggs to order. The marina is a very short walk away which was very convenient for our boat ride. This was a lovely place to stay!

The only thing that was tough was the walk to town. Once we figured out how to call the small tuk tuk taxi on whatsapp, it was no longer a problem.

Very helpful friendly hosts. The rooms are modern and clean with all the amenities you require. Including bikes and water shoes. The outdoor space is lovely.

The room with the sea view didn’t really have a sea view. It had two portholes which were cute but to get a sea view you would have to open the privacy blind on the room door and open the sea wall door. However, when the sunshines you’d spend your time on the roof terrace.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with any enquiries we had. Antonella was our host and she was incredible. The owner of the hotel gave us a free bottle of wine that he makes himself which was such a lovely gesture. We were staying at the Marsento site which was right on the beach. The sea views were stunning.

All our needs were met.

We really liked our room (Selene), it was compact but perfect for us. The breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. The property was beautifully maintained and the rooftop terrace was really nice. Parking was easy and safe inside the property gate.

The room had two minibars which were quite noisy. The beach is a public beach, although the property has sunloungers and umbrellas, but by no means is it a private beach area.
