A lovely 8 day stay in the 'Cassandra' room which was beautiful, very well equipped, clean and exactly as described - perfect. With a stunning view over the picturesque courtyard to the sea. Breakfast was a delight, home cooked and a great variety of local cuisine, fruits and cakes. Our host Carlo and supporting team, were superb, they could not of done anymore to help us enjoy our time in Polignano a Mare. From recommending days out, restaurants, bars and beaches further out of town. Making restaurant reservations at late notice, transfers to airport and taxis. Lovely accomodation and breakfast in a stunning town.

If you see this property available—BOOK IT! My friend and I were unbelievably lucky to snag a last-minute cancellation, and it turned out to be the highlight of our summer trip. The property itself is a little slice of paradise, we had the sea view suite. Every room has a balcony, we could enjoy the best sea views 24/7. What truly makes it special is the host, Carlo. He was not only welcoming and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. My friend even joined his cooking class and learned to prepare authentic local dishes—a memory we’ll treasure forever. This place is a rare gem, and I’d come back every year if I could. Thank you, Carlo, for making our stay so unforgettable!

The location was wonderful, the staff the property everything was perfect, Carlo and his staff are amazing, very courteous and helpful. We stayed a week in the ground floor apartment as I have mobility issues and it was perfect. A beautiful breakfast in one of the most pretty parts of the old town of Polignano a Mare. Very convenient to bars and restaurants in the old Town. Friends with no mobility issues had no problem with upstairs rooms and the stairs.

Excellent location! Tasteful remodelling of a character-ful old building! Big shower with a window you can open. Very close to the sea, which we could see. Access to rooftop terrace for the rooms in our half of the building. Owner/manager Carlo was very helpful in practical ways. It was pretty much what we wanted for our Polignano experience.

We found the mattress not the most comfortable. One needs to be very careful on the narrow steep internal stairs - this is common in these tightly settled old areas, built back when people were midgets.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here in Polignano: From the envious location to the decor, and everything in between; including our: Genuiny warm welcome Bright, airy, and immaculate room Stunning bathroom with hairdryer Roof terrace with shade and sun, and lovely views of street, and sea. Uncork your vino rosso and watch/listen to the world go by. Accessories inclusive of Cork screw, wine glasses. (Not plastico), tea, and coffee, kettle... We loved our breakfast outside in an enviable position, with everything our palette could desire. Beautiful bedroom with super use of space. We couldn't have designed it any better. Breakfast was lovely. I don't eat meat (partner does), we both ate our fill of both savoury and sweet dishes with plenty of coffee, water, and juices too.

Six of us booked three rooms. We all had a wonderful time. The location of the hotel is perfect! One of the rooms had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Few steps away is a perfect view point to appreciate the beautiful coast. We were able to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. The owner Carlo was very nice to provide us all the information needed around the area. We were very lucky to have stayed at this beautiful hotel and area. It’s a beautiful trip we will always remember.

Really unforgetable experience,one of the best holidays ever.The host Carlo and his wife extremely nice and friendly willing to help with everything,providing all the advice,recommendations.The accomodation (The Aqua suite) beautiful,with an amazing view in the greatest location in the historic heart of Polignano.The suite decorated in charming style.Delicious breakfast always being served with a smile,consisting of the fresh local ingredients served outside enjoying the morning sea view.Everything perfect.

Really nothing at all

Our stay at Casa Dorsi in Polignano a Mare was absolutely excellent! The location is very nice – right by the sea with stunning views. The host, Carlo, was very kind and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations every morning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience in this beautiful town!

Host was more than happy to help and provided great suggestions on parking and where to eat etc. Room was lovely, spacious and clean with iron and hairdryer provided. Great location with sea views in old town and short walk to restaurants and more panoramic views.

Only downsides (if being picky because it really was a very nice stay) would be the bedroom is at the back of the property without windows so got very warm and stuffy in the night. Hairdryer was very weak so upgrading to a better hairdryer would be amazing.

B&B Casa Dorsi is very comfortable to stay. It’s in the perfect location which is 20 seconds away from the seaside. The room is the perfect size. Staff responded quickly. Thanks to the hotel accommodates our request to provide a sofa bed so both my friend and I can stay comfortably. Around the hotel has many lovely restaurants and stores. I highly recommend B&B Casa Dorsi if you visit Polignano a Mare.
