We had the best time at Antico Mondo Rooms & Suites. Our King Suite was amazing—the balcony has what must be the finest view in town, straight over Lama Monachile. Honestly, the view from our room beat the tourist viewpoints. Sipping a glass of wine out there is a memory we’ll keep forever. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully finished. The hosts, Emio and Giuseppe, were fantastic. They contacted us weeks before our trip to make sure our arrival would be as smooth as possible, and throughout our stay they handled reservations, arranged transfers, and helped in every way. On departure day we had a late flight back to Norway: after checkout they stored our luggage while we relaxed at a beach club, then in the afternoon Emio picked us up there with our bags and personally drove us to the airport. Above and beyond. This is the best accommodation experience we’ve ever had. Wow:)

Where do I start? We stayed at one of the rooms at Antico mondo for 5 nights and it was wonderful! We have been traveling around Italy for 2 months and pretty much all our hosts were very good but Emio went above and beyond to make our stay magical! Besides the room that was great and comfortable , (it was located on a lovely street with flower pots everywhere)Emio and Giuseppe attended to our every need. Day 1 Emio took us to his office and after check in he gave us great suggestions on where to eat and what to do in polignano a mare and beyond! His recommendations were fantastic! He arranged bookings for restaurants and boat tour etc. Breakfast was really good and every morning we would get suggestions from Giuseppe as where to go and what to see according to the weather that day. I can’t say enough about what great hosts they were. I highly recommend them. Thank you Emio and Giuseppe Roya

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Polignano a Mare, I highly recommend Antico Mondo Rooms&Suites. Emio is a fantastic host who takes care of his guests from the first moment. He is very helpful, kind, and always available. He gladly recommends great restaurants and attractions in the area. The property is located right in the heart of the town, in a great location – everything is close by, yet the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally clean. The large balconies are a huge plus – perfect for a morning coffee or relaxing in the evening after a day full of exploring. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious – made with fresh, local ingredients! I definitely recommend this place – the perfect combination of comfort, location, and atmosphere. We would love to come back! 10/10!

Staying at Antico in Polignano a Mare was truly a dream come true. Ever since I first saw photos of the dramatic cliffs in this beautiful town, I knew I had to visit—and celebrating our 1st anniversary here made it all the more special. We stayed in the Seaview Suite, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Waking up and going out to the terrace for the sound of the waves, breathing in the fresh sea air, and watching the sunset over the cliffs with a glass of wine—those are moments we’ll never forget. The views are absolutely breathtaking, both in the morning light and the golden hours of evening. What made our stay even more memorable was the warm and welcoming hospitality from Emio and his team. They were so friendly, funny, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. Whether it was answering questions, helping with directions, or even willing to provide assistance with getting to and from our vehicle, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. If I could give more than 5 stars to Emio and the team, I would! Antico is the kind of place that not only delivers on its promise of stunning views but also wraps you in genuine care. I can't wait to come back one day again! <3

Charming accomadation right in the center of old town. Parking in this town can be a nightmare, but they have a large, spacious lot available to reserve for 20 euro per day that was completely worth it. They even arranged for a complementary golf cart to pick us up from the lot to transport our bags. Short, 7 minute walk from our door to the parking lot. Delicious Italian buffet breakfast with fantastic little bites. The outstanding team at Antico Modo even helped us set up dinner reservations and gave us parking recommendations for Alberobello, Estuni, and Locorotondo. Just know that some rooms are a short, 1 minute walk from reception and breakfast.

We were travelling around Italy, Antico is definitely the cream de la cream of our trip. Emio and Giuseppe are very welcoming, the stay fell like visiting friend’s place instead of hotel. We had the pleasure of staying in two different rooms, the cave and sea view suite, both equally perfect. What not to like when you have the view of Lama Monachile beach right in front of your eyes each time you look out the window. Definitely a place to go back if ever we venture to the area. We are happy that they convinced us to stay another day in Polignano a mare. Antico is a gem! Thank you Emio and all the ladies for making our stay pleasant and memorable.

A really great place to spend your dream vacation. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the famous Pontico Romano bridge, from which we can observe the most famous beach. The room itself, decorated very tasteful in style, lacked nothing and the mattresses in the beds were very comfortable. Host Emio is very kind and very helpful in any situation. When we wanted to go on a trip earlier, there was no problem with preparing a takeaway breakfast. He suggested cool places and locations that are worth visiting. Breakfasts very tasty in Italian style, both sweet and dry, and everyone will find something for themselves. In general, the place is really recommendable and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back there again. Highly recommended!!

It's hard to find something.

Liked everything! This is great choice for Polignano a Mare. It’s right in the center of things, and the staff, particularly Emio, is fantastic. They are very responsive and will help with anything. They readily offer golf cart service from the nearby private parking lot for you and your luggage. We had the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with private terrace – very comfortable, everything worked well. (A couple of staircases involved, if that is an issue for you.) Breakfasts were a delight. There’s no Rick Steves for Puglia, but Emio is extremely helpful with tips for the local area (transportation, parking, restaurants, activities, sites) as well as for other towns you may be going to next. Can’t think of anything that could be improved.

The property is in an excellent location with plenty of restaurants and shops. At first we were a bit disappointed that we were not in the main building however, we were just a 2 minute walk from the property, after all, it was in a great location quite and not on the beaten path! Emio and the team were fantastic hosts, they were thoughtful and hospitable. The team went over and beyond ( I asked for blueberries, and the next day they were on the buffet table)to ensure we had a breakfast that we would enjoy. The buffet was full of delicious fresh fruit, an assortment of breads, cheese, and pastries. Also, the room was cleaned daily with fresh large bath towels and sheets.

The apartments are in perfect location to be in the middle of everything in Polignano, our hotel suite had a beautiful view of the sea, very high so you could see all around and watch people swim in the sea below while enjoying a wine on the balcony. The king suite is stunning! Emio the host was constantly available to talk to with any questions recommendations and absolutely anything you could help with, couldn’t believe the level when arriving to leave. He Works very hard Make sure you have the perfect stay.. Above and beyond of anywhere else we have ever been.
