In the very center of Reggio Emilia, this hotel is amazing. An old-school hotel with valet parking service (if you park in their garage), and wonderful old-school decor. Location is 10/10, staff is amazing, the rooms (we were at their detached location only 3 minutes walk away from the main hotel) are spacious and clean... and the self-service breakfast is a perfect start of the day, with so many different breakfast options that noone can leave it wanting more. The beds are comfy, the shower is spacious and as hot as you might want it. But again, location location location. You step out of the door on the alley smack in the middle of the old town. Along with the possibility to park at the hotel (if you're travelling by car), perfect.

The room was spacious and centrally located. The location of my room was very quiet. the only noise was from a lack of soundproofing from the corridor when other guests came and went. Wifi and air-con were effective. It's great value for money.

I would have appreciated a reminder the day before arrival that I need to check-in at a nearby hotel. I booked the accommodation a couple of months before I stayed as part of a longer three week long trip, so I completely forgot the instruction when I arrived and had to backtrack in the heat. I did receive an email about parking, so perhaps a reminder about where to check-in at the same time.

Location was fabulous and staff were extremely helpful. Amazing restaurant just literally 10 second walk in the arcade, very authentic, a must but book first.

The only thing I would say is it can be very noisy, Friday night with people outside and every time someone comes in or out the doors are very heavy and bang, 1am it all went quiet and finally we could sleep.

I got an excellent little "suite" in Albergo Reggio situated in the heart of Reggio Emilia. Everything in the room functioned perfectly well. Comfortable bed. The rooms were tidy and clean. There was no noise from other rooms, the corridor, or outside the building. All in all just wonderful!

One of the receptionists appeared rather arrogant and disinterested in her customers. The rest of the staff was very service minded and super kind.

Terrific shower. Very spacious room. Good wi fi.. Cold minibar fridge. Excellent location in center of center. Very kind and helpful staff. Sent staff over to put tv in English. The town is very small and walkable. Saw a fantastic museum on marionettes from 1900 to 1930. Ticket comes with a show and explanation, in Italian but able to follow by actions. Civic museum endless array of eclectic findings.

High speed Train station far away. In the middle of nowhere. Can't walk.

The location is great and the room was very big and super comfortable.

The walls are paper thin. I could hear the guy snoring in the room next door and all his conversations with his friend. Also anytime anyone walked around outside talking. Bring earplugs!

Ideal location to explore Reggio Emilia! Comfortable room/bed. Bountiful breakfast - including eggs every day, which isn’t always the case in Italy. Appreciated having a gym.

Nice hotel in city centre, comfortable beds and quiet although you are in the middle of city centre. You can park your car in ZTL for free, you get a permit from the hotel. We were in low season and booked well in advance, we had a good price quality ratio.

Location was close to what we wanted to do. Free bikes for the day was really nice too.

My daughter didn’t like the pull out bed. She felt it was very uncomfortable

The check-in is in the nearby Hotel Posta which was seamless and I was then escorted to the Albergo which is down a narrow side street. The room was excellent and very spacious. the room was on the second flor and accessed by a lift. The location could not be better or more central - lovely city. I had a very early check-out and didn't take breakfast so cannot comment on it.
