The location is fantastic, the interior is beautiful and the room with the space we had was perfect. Our host Andrea was pleasant, full of information & on hand with any request we had! Nothing was too much trouble & he was simply, the perfect front of house/host. Breakfast was delivered promptly each morning & it was delightful enjoying it each morning overlooking the streets below, whilst planing our day.

Absolutely nothing!

Location in Rome was super. We organised a trip to Pompeii and were picked up in the square facing the accommodation. There are restaurants and cafes nearby. Underground is nearby too. Our breakfast was very nice. Every morning we had a trip planned, and the owners/staff were able to organise breakfast a little earlier for us. We were very grateful for this. Made our day easier. Our bed was very comfortable. The old lift is lovely to use. The staff are great. Would recommend a stay at lovely Casa Montani.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but a warning to others holidaying in Italy. We were pickpocketed on the day we left Casa Montani. It was the first time we used the metro trains as we were travelling to the main station to get to Florence. Be aware as the crooks prepare before you get on the train and they jump on the train and bump into you. There's usually 3 or 4 of them working together and while one distracts you the other is in your pockets and you don't even realise. We were a party of six people and we were warned about the pickpockets but they still got us!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Montani! It was in a very safe and decently quiet location, yet the nearby train station meant that we felt easily connected to the action. The rooms were very clean, cozy and comfortable and we appreciated the ease with which we could access our room (helpful with different arrival/departure times). Although I had booked a king bed, the host was kind enough to ask if we wanted two twin beds since my sister and I were traveling together. The breakfast was a nice addition and a great way to energize our day. Finally, the host gave us some wonderful recommendations on our last day, which ended up making our visit feel more authentic. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our visit to Rome was made extra special by the wonderful experience of staying at Casa Montani. Their description as a luxury guest house is definitely accurate! Our suite was so beautifully decorated, spacious, modern (with old world charm) not to mention the friendly and very accommodating staff. An unexpected treat was having our breakfast delivered to our room every morning. The location was in walking distance to most of our destinations, but we also took advantage of the near by metro stop. Our stay at Casa Montani was definitely one of the highlights of our fabulous trip to Rome!

The location is probably the best in Rome. Just across the road is the famous Piazza Popolo. The 3 main streets leading off it will take you to most of the top ten attractions in Rome. It is very easy to pick up a hop-on-hop off bus tour near the Piazzo Spagna (Spanish Steps), literally a 10-minute walk from the b&b. 🚶‍♀️🚶 The Trevi fountain is just a further 10-minute walk from the Spanish steps. Lots of fabulous shops, cafes, restaurants, and history line the streets. 👛🛍👠💍👜 There is a bus stop just outside the b&b, and it is also next door to the metro, with a train station just around the corner. There is a great pasta takeaway,bistro, and a Mcdonalds for the kids again, just outside the main door. There is also a very handy supermarket just around the corner by the metro.🍝🥐🥖🍔🍟 Our host Andrea was amazing, so welcoming and full of great advice to help make the most of our time in Rome. Be prepared for a good walk (sensible shoes!). It's the easiest way to take in all the sights and immerse yourself into the culture. There is no need to pay for expensive private tours. The food is amazing, remember to save room for your gelato! 😋 🍨🍦 Unlike other cities, the restaurants close at 10.30 pm, something just to be aware of. Will definitely be going back again soon.

It was our first stay in Rome. Andres really went above and beyond to help. He took care of our dinner reservations, advised us on where to go shopping and what to visit... booked a taxi (a very posh one too). And we just simply enjoyed a little everyday chit chat with him.

The room has seen better days...

Casa Montani was 5/5. We would definitely stay there again. Price was quite affordable considering everything what Casa Montani had to offer. Location was great. Metro’s stairs right next to the front door and it is possible to walk to every main attraction. Colosseum was the furthest one and we walked back from there to the Casa (about 1,5 km). Room was clean and they cleaned the room everyday right after we left to explore the city. Bed was very comfortable. I have to thank Andrea for being such a great host. It was really a pleasure to have Andrea there. He helped us with everything and restaurants which he told us were good picks!

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we got there, the staff at casa montani were so accommodating. The rooms were so spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was perfect size and the bed was so comfortable. The location was perfect and felt very safe. One of my favorite things was the breakfast delivered to the room. It was amazing! The communication before arrival was excellent. The instructions given for entering the building at the rooms sounded complicated but was very easy with the links provided. Great location right at Piazza del Popolo, end of Via del Corso and Villa Borghese, walking distance to many sites and easy for Uber or using the metro (just a few steps from the building). Andrea was very helpful upon arrival with information and restaurant suggestions, etc. The room itself was clean, spacious (for Rome) and had many nice touches such as a large closet, toiletries and good wifi.

All was great!

The room was incredible, very large and spacious, beds were comfy - we opted for two single beds which wqas great! Room was always clean and tidy. Breakfast was simple and delivered to you room to eat, rather than an area. We had a croissant and some bread and cheese, which was okay but if you wanted something more exciting then go out for breakfast. Check-in was mostly smooth, you have to sign up to their app beforehand, however we stated we were arrving prior to 3pm and couldn't access the building, luckily someone was coming out so we managed to go in, otherwsie we would have been unable to leave our bags anywhere. Our room was ready by 2:45pm. Location was great, around a 20min walk from most places, 30mins to the colleseum but it was very quiet with the windows shut and felt safe.
