Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Coloseum and also still a walking distance from Termini. Nice and helpful staff. The room was fine and sufficient for a solo traveller. The bathroom was clean and had fine running hot water, towels and basic amenities. 24h reception contributed to a feeling of safety and consistent service. Good value for the location it offers.

In my room (the building next door to the reception), the wifi did not work even one minute. The bed was fine for me, but it was quite short - probably too short for anyone over 175cm tall (I advise to ask while making a booking). A small refrigerator in the room, next to bed, produced some noises (probably can be turned off is someone is sensitive). The breakfast is a set of croissant, cheese, ham, jam and egg with coffee - which might be sufficient depending on preferences, but if anyone is expecting fresh fruits or vegetables (not a typical Italian breakfast!) - one could easily choose to skip it altogether.

The location was fantastic, only 10 minutes from the Colosseum and 15 minutes from the train station. The room was gorgeous, really beautiful design and comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovely. Rosanna on the front desk was particularly helpful with advise and guidance on how to navigate the city.

The shower is very small, and the shower head was a rainfall shower so we couldn't even take it off to help washing. There is a massive step down when you enter the room and a massive step up to get into the bathroom, and even though we could get the elevator to our floor, there were still three large steps to go down to get to the room; this wasn't a problem for us but could possibly be a problem for people with mobility issues. The hotel is located on a busy, nightlife corner so that could cause issues for people due to the noise late at night. The air-conditioning was not the most user friendly but with the time of year we were there, we just left it off and had the window open as it was cooler at night time.

The location was great. Easy walk from train station. Other Rome landmarks were walkable. Great breakfast. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and fluent in multiple languages. This is a small hotel in an old building, with a rooftop patio. The rooms are on multiple levels. There is an elevator, but one still needs to do a few steps to the rooms.

Our room had problems with the internet. The staff worked hard to fix it and accommodate our needs. But, it remained a problem in our room.

Hotel in a very good location. 10 minutes to the Colosseum. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The elevator is small, but there are also stairs, so those few extra steps daily won't harm anyone. The room is very clean, cleaned daily. Inexpensive minibar. In our room named Chopin, the WiFi worked flawlessly. The air conditioning is indeed a bit noisy, but believe me, after a whole day of sightseeing, you fall asleep and don't hear it. However, those who are light sleepers might have an issue. The bathroom is fine. My tall husband didn't complain about the size of the shower. Breakfasts are tasty, the same every day, but it didn't bother us.

This gem of a hotel is located in Monti, a wonderful section of Rome near the Coliseum and most major sights. Our room was beautiful. The bathroom was clean and well-sized. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Best of all was the staff. The front desk people were so enchanting, helped us make reservations, gave very helpful suggestions, spoke multiple languages, and just made our stay amazing. The roof top terrace is beautiful and great for a little down time.

My daughter and I enjoyed our time at Antica very much, we are great fans of small, family owned hotels and I was very pleased we chose it not only for its great location with close proximity to the best sites in Rome as well as to restaurants, cafes and gelatos, but also for the lovely service, wonderful staff and a nice breakfast, in beautiful surroundings and with access to a rooftop terrace.

We were a three-generation family of seven. The two rooms were perfect for us. The breakfast was substantial, the staff were great. Our host made reservations every evening in wonderful local restaurants and helped us in so many ways. The rooftop garden was a lovely place to relax with a drink. We hope to return some day!

The location was amazing - it was very close to the Colosseum. The staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the rooftop terrace was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was simple but substantial.

The shower in our room was tiny which wasn’t idea and the toilet began leaking on the second day with minimal use due to being out and about during the day.

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip to Rome. Wasn’t expecting much from the reviews and pictures but was pleasantly surprised. Hotel rooms and bathroom were very clean and offered cleaning services everyday where they make your bed and replace towels etc. Decor is a little bit dated but fine. Shower pressure was not that high but still decent. Bathroom also had a bidet which was a plus. AC was really good which was needed because it was very hot when we went. Nice view of the street outside from the window. Location was fantastic, 7min walk from the colosseum and loads of restaurants / gelato places around. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly. I still highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Rome, we stayed for 5 nights.

One negative was that walls are thin and we could hear the neighbours/ people outside talking. There’s also alot of noise on the street when bin lorries come in the middle of the night to empty the bins. Breakfast was disappointing with not many options. They give you a croissant, yogurt, cold bread with jam/ nutella and cheese. Choice of tea/ coffee/ juice.

This boutique hotel was located in the Monti area and was walkable from the train station. We were warmly welcomed and the room met all of our needs. We had to leave early the next morning and were provided with an excellent breakfast before the regular dining time, which was greatly appreciated before our long travel day home. The room was nicely appointed and had everything we needed for a short stay.
