The central location of the hotel to all the big ticket items in Rome (most are like 20 min walk). Lots of restaurants around too to choose from and all seem to be really good quality. The ones we ate at were all excellent and not tourist traps. The room was excellent. Good size, comfortable bed and pillows. Good facilities. But the true heroes of this hotel are the staff. Right from the get go when we were checking in they were super friendly, helpful, explained all their facilities and offers with tours etc. The front desk staff were unbelievable. We had a really good rapport with all of them. Always up for a chat, we just can’t give them enough praise. The staff at breakfast were just as exceptional. They were always friendly to greet you, they knew our coffee orders and got them ready as soon as we sat down, they were always happy for a chat about anything and everything which just makes you feel welcome. A massive credit to them all, making our trip comfortable, welcoming and stress free. Thank you to everyone there.

The location is fantastic - Monti is a great area to stay in Rome, close to Colosseo and Forum, and a exciting area with restaurants, bars and great small shops. The hotel has a great decor. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. Bathroom and beds excellent, no noise. The atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast is outstanding. Above all, the personnel throughout the hotel is outstanding. They are super professional and extremely helpful, fast to take action and kind. They give you a very warm feeling of hospitality. Better than in many luxurious hotels I stayed.

Our stay was truly fabulous, the hotel and the staff made this so. Firstly and before we arrived I was able to communicate directly with the hotel via WhatsApp which was super easy. The staff made the stay truly exceptional. We were greeted with such a warm welcome from Federica. She took care of us throughout and even arranged a birthday cake for my dad at breakfast. She is an absolute asset to the hotel and company and understands service. The breakfasts were great, lots of choice served in the rooftop bar which was super nice. The staff at the breakfast were extremely friendly, Alessandro, Sami and Sara in particular. Finally our driver Fabio was lovely and collected and dropped us off at the hotel with care and a smile. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated and well situated in Monti, a cool neighbourhood very close to the colosseum.

As a family of 2 adults and a teenage son this triple room was brilliant value for money. Staff were extremely helpful answering any queries after we’d booked, and helped advise of the many free tours the hotel and its sister BZar ones offer and booking us on one which was fantastic. Follow up What’s App messages or chatting via Booking.com was a nice way to feel at ease. Greeted warmly when we arrived and everything explained really well about where everything was within the hotel and the wider city. Breakfast was nice on the roof terrace which doubled up as a bar in the evening, again all staff were friendly and food was nice, with a good variety of basic hot and cold options available. Location is perfect as close to many things including a couple minutes walk to Colosseum and feels very safe.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, it was extremely good value and I’d stay there again.

There are a few great reasons to stay at Condominio Monti. We are from the U.S. and speak very few words of Italian. The desk staff was helpful in every way, helping us manage the language. They messaged to tell me I’d left a pair of socks and sweater in the room and communicated so well in every sense. I loved the rooftop bar and the stylish low-key room. The juice and coffee in the morning were very good! While the Monti area may be considered touristic, it’s actually great for that purpose. We walked to the train station and to many great restaurants in the area.

The pastries aren’t “special.” If you’re looking for remarkable fresh baked goods, try one of the local coffee shops. The bread is good and there are many options!

Well, what a well located hotel in Rome. Just down the road from the Colosseum. The family room we had booked (because we like a larger room) was wonderful with plenty of room and appointed with fine amenities. The bathroom was amazing and the room well laid out. The top floor late night bar was great and an easy place to go after a day of touring. Breakfast was wonderful with helpful friendly staff. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the area feels safe. The hotel runs a free nightly tour at 9:00pm in association with other hotels. We were lucky that the night we checked in, there was a 9:00pm free tour of the outside of the Colosseum. This was great and the guide was wonderful. A truly great place to stay. We wont be looking around for accommodation next time we are in Rome, we know exactly where to go - the Condominio Monti Boutique Hotel.

The breakfast!! Best I’ve had in years!! So fresh and delicious. A lovely selection with scrambled eggs and bacon and a veg for a cooked selection then the most delicious assorted baked goods!! Plus yoghurt and fruit and cheese etc. absolutely perfect! Staff were amazing!!!! Everyone at the front desk we met were amazing. Such lovely people. Helpful and kind and friendly. Room was nice and dark. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Location was brilliant. A quick walk to Trevi and colluseum!

It is a noisy spot but I’m not sure where in Rome you stay that isn’t like that! The floor was a bit damaged and was very loud when going to the bathroom at night but our friends room was no problems!

This cute little hotel is in a wonderful location - you can see the Colosseum down the road! In general, the neighborhood is nice with plenty of restaurants and sites nearby. For example, it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the Fontanna di Trevi. The rooms were relatively small, but adequate, and the beds were the most comfortable we had throughout our 2 plus long stay in Italy. The little on-site restaurant served a decent lunch, and the rooftop bar was cool - a great place for an aperitivo or after-dinner drink (though the views were not that interesting).

I booked the property because of the reviews about the location and the people and they were spot on! Perfect location which was central to things (you can see the colosseum from the entrance) but it’s also on a relatively quiet street for the area, and the team that work here are all lovely. Friendly and helpful but not over the top. Great stay, thank you.

I wasn’t based in the main hotel but next door which as a solo traveller, I would have preferred being in the main hotel. The lift and door access weren’t brilliant (definitely not for those with mobility or health issues) and took some effort but the room (suite!) was lovely and a real treat.

The staff was very polite, especially the breakfast team, who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional. While the breakfast itself wasn’t particularly memorable and lacked the authentic Italian flavor one might expect, it was acceptable considering the price and location. The terrace was also a lovely highlight, offering a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, but I would politely suggest that there’s room for improvement when it comes to the breakfast.
