The suites are well located near Colloseum. There are three supermarkets nearby. The room was large and nice decorated. Alessio replyed prompt on any questions. There are nice bars, tratorrias and prizzeria in the areas. The room is good isolated with double glazing. If you sleep with windows open, there is noisy from street and piazetta. There is a kettle and coffee machine in the room. The A/C is working properly. The room was very clean - the cleaning lady is very nice!

The bathroom needs a bit of renovation. Everything was working ok; we had hot water and shower gel and shampoo provided.

The room was very clean and cozy. It is a bit smaller that I thought (so if you have a big luggage you will need to put under the bed) but overall it has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. I was contacted ahead of time for all the instructions of how to get into the hotel. It was excellent communication! Lorenzo helped me with instructions about the train stations and other places i needed to go! Location is great! 5 minutes walking distance to the Coliseum (you literally see it from the front door of the hotel) and 10 minutes from the train station! Several really good restaurants in the same street and you have the Monti plaza right next to it with a nice fountain!

The room was a lot smaller than anticipated and far less opulent than the pictures suggested. I booked this for my wife’s birthday expecting to be wowed, especially having read the rave reviews. Although a perfectly acceptable room to stay in I was mostly disappointed by the lack of space and mundane furnishings. The bathroom is a good size, but the towel radiator did not function. A good shower enclosure and powerful shower. The cleaner does a great job each day freshening up the room. Unfortunately the toilet seat lid had a crack in it which developed into a break during our stay. The owner was understanding in my explanation that we had not initially broken it. I have given the overall score of 8 which is a better indication for our particular room, maybe the other rooms are considerably better!

This property was absolutely amazing. The location was incredible, one stop away from the central station in the heart of Monti making it an easy walk to a lot of the sights including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Vibrant neighbourhood with countless great restaurants and cool shops. The host Alessio was brilliant, great communication from him and also provided me with some amazing recomendations for bars and restaurants. Cannt recommend this proprty enough. Thankyou again Alessio!

The room was a little bit cramped but not a deal breaker given the location!

The location was absolutely the BEST! We were within walking distance of the Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, and so many other sites. Countless restaurants and other attractions. Our host was SUPER GRACIOUS on giving us tips on where to have the best foods and gave us tips on where to go. The building itself was historical and beautiful!! Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Rome! Highly recommend this host and location!

The only thing I didn't like was that my trip was too short!! Wish I could have stayed longer!

I was looking for a room in Rome that would provide a warm welcoming experience. This exceeded my expectations. The bed was very cozy and comfortable. The furnishings and decor had elements of the nostalgia of Rome and there was plenty of hot water. The view from my room was exactly what I needed. I could open the windows and hear the sounds of music and people laughing, along with the soothing sound of the fountain in the courtyard. When I was ready to sleep I closed the double paned windows and the room was complete silence. This is a perfect location to walk to Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Giuseppe, the host, is very kind and assists with making the experience of visiting Rome very enjoyable.

Loved the decor...very fitting of the era of the property and the fact we were in Rome. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Location was excellent. Walked out of the apartment, and we could see the Colosseum ahead! Wow! The area of Monti was great for sightseeing and getting around especially as the metro was out of action. Situated in a pretty square with some nice restaurants. Once we had overcome our technical difficulties check-in and out very easy.

Nothing! Liked it all. Getting in posed a few minor issues. As we are not very well conversed with mobile phones we struggled to get the WhatsApp going to get the information to get in! Funny now...but at midnight not so much. We had been sent half the information but needed the last little bit which was actually a very helpful video!

The room was very nice and clean just as advertised. Giuseppe was a great host and was able to accommodate our additional requests.

We liked everything.

We'd just spent three nights in one of the city's finest 5 star hotels. It was wonderful but de'Monti, for an extra two nights, was simply more us. Class without fuss. The location too was unbeatable. We were able to walk to or from everywhere.

Nothing to do with de' Monti or indeed the location, but having my mobile stolen (probably whilst on the Metro) was a bit of a downer. We were so careful throughout but let our guard down on the last evening - I think a Plan B is required for contacting hosts in this instance. No phone, no What's App, no contact. Luckily I had brought my laptop along. If pickpocketing is such a viral thing in Rome, or any big city, maybe Booking.com should have a secondary way for all clients to make contact. Or at very least warn up front so we can make contingency plans.

You definitely need to book this place when you go to Rome! This is not my first time in Rome, I was looking for an accommodation in this exact area, because it is quite safe, close to all the main attractions (it was important for us that we could walk everywhere, there are many restaurants, cafes (literally downstairs you can eat delicious gelato or other Italian desserts), grocery stores (they’re not big, but you can find there almost all you need). Just before coming, we’ve been provided with some file with tips about places where to eat, that was very very very helpful! We followed them + we found our favorite spots (for example, just a min walk from an accommodation we found a tiny pizza place, which we visited everyday, when we wanted to have a quick meal, and every time it was delicious :) What I loved the most that the windows overlook a small square with a fountain, so there was a lot of light in the room. Although there were always many people on that square (yes, we also spent a lot of time downstairs by that fountain eating an ice cream), the noise from the street absolutely did not bother us. The room was small, but very comfortable, clean and very quiet, we didn’t hear anything/anyone from the other rooms. I liked that there was a coffee machine and a kettle. What I personally missed is some glasses for water and maybe a big trash bin. The bathroom was quite spacious and warm. Everything was very clean! Our room was on the first floor, we walked up the stairs, but there’s also a small elevator to get upstairs. We were in constant contact with the owner (I guess) of this place, Alessio always promptly answered our questions and tried to help, many many thanks for this! If we plan a trip to Rome again, we will definitely stay over there! ✨
