I had a pleasant stay. All staff was polite, and my room was ready to check in early. The room was smaller, but this is typical for Rome. The only complaint was that my shower cabin was clogging up after 1 minute. So, it would overflow if I wanted more than a 3-minute shower. There was a bottle of water in the fridge, but it was priced at €10 if you decide to drink it. I think it is better to have a couple of bottles of cheaper water at €5- this way it would be more reasonable because the store next to the hotel sells water at €1. Other than that, it's quite a good place.

Reception and overall personnel are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good and the coffee is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and the Latino of the hotel is perfect.

I loved my two weeks at this hotel!! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! They made great suggestions about things to do, using transportation and places to eat. I was in Rome on my own for two weeks of classes at an Italian language school (which was a six minute walk from the hotel). Each staff person I encountered, especially Sebastian, went out of his or her way to make my stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. They, including the manager, were happy to answer all my questions. This comfortable hotel was kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning and shower worked perfectly. Location-This was a fantastic location on Via Cavour. The Colosseum, the Forum and Cavour Metro stop were an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel. There were tons of restaurants on the street. It was a safe area. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Really good location for tourists, in the historic area of Rome, walk to the tourist areas. Metro is close by and not far from Opera house of Rome. Staffs are super friendly, everytime you went in the hotel, they greeted you. Many restaurants and bars around, very conveniet to stay.

Very small room, not much room for the big luggages. Breakfast was terrible. The lift is super small can only fit one person.

Absolutely spectacular hotel. The room was lovely spacious and very clean. The location couldn’t be better. 2 minute walk to the Colosseum and 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. There is a shop beside the hotel and it is a 2-3 minute walk to some really nice restaurants. The buffet breakfast was lovely and only €12 per person. The staff were brilliant. They were so friendly and extremely helpful. I asked the receptionist to call a taxi to the airport at the end of my stay and they waited outside with me to help me to find the correct taxi. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

This was our first hotel during our stay in Italy and it was perfect for the itinerary we had planned for the weekend (Colosseum, etc). It was a VERY short walk to the colosseum, along with plenty of great food and other sights to see along the way. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean with good working AC.

The bathroom was a touch small but honestly totally expected given the city center location. The wifi wasn't the strongest, but it got the job done just fine overall! We weren't in the room much anyway :)

The location was good as was close to the colosseum and about 15 minutes walk to the train station, they have a waiting area where you can charge your phone and 20% discount on a restaurant for lunch and dinner although I didn’t get a chance to use it.

Couldn’t work the overhead shower, didn’t like the note in the room that advised they would not be held responsible for items that go missing, made me a bit weary. I only travelled with a backpack and put it quite far back under the bed. When the room was cleaned my backpack was on the chair which again made me weary as I doubt underneath the beds are cleaned often given there was dust on the backpack but nothing was missing so can’t really complain. Not a big deal, but would’ve appreciated if they would’ve helped to exchange some euros that I had into smaller notes but the guy on reception declined.

The Hotel Cavour is ideally located for everything Rome - its 5 mins walk from the Colosseum, 10 mins from the train station etc. The bonus is that it had a lift (no suitcases to lug upstairs) and a small bar. The staff were wonderful and due to the times of my tours I spoke most with David and Antoinella who were always polite, friendly and so helpful. There are lots of dining options within walking distance and a discount offered at a nearby restaurant for guests of the hotel. Also nearby were mini marts and souvenir stores and I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to friends traveling.

We absolutely loved Hotel Centro, it was our first time staying in Rome and found the location to be great, literally a few minutes walk to the Colosseum and other attractions. There are many great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk also, we felt we were close enough to everything without being stuck in the tourist 'trap' areas. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped and the staff we so helpful throughout, a credit to the hotel. We particularly liked the hotel offering discount at the restaurant 'Benso' next door, the food there was so good and authentic.
