The location is fantastic!...and so was our host! She met us and walked us thru all of the processes, gave us dining and recreation suggestions and made herself available should we need any assistance. The in-room air conditioner was great because the weather was quite warm on a couple of nights. That was almost the hidden gem. The rooms were spacious for the two of us and nicely laid out. The common kitchen area was a nice amenity because we were able to make coffee there or reheat leftover foods from the restaurants. Very satisfied with the room!! Would stay again!!

Not really much to dislke....perhaps road noise at times...but when you want to be in the middle of the action, you must expect a little bit of that!

Beutifully decorated unit, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The unit is perfectly located at the heart of Monti neighborhood, 5 minutes walk to the Colosseo and up to 15 minutes walk to all other historical sights. Restaurants, cafe's, bars and the metro are steps away. Thanks to Patrizia and Alessandro we felt at home right away.

The suite and whole place was either newly renovated or superbly well maintained, and super clean. The room is well furnished and nice touches are provided to make you comfortable. A common kitchenette is well stocked so you can do your own food prep. The location is superb: a busy, safe part of the City between the main train station, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, with plenty of neighborhood restaurants and markets and also an easy walk to the subway. AND #1 important - the air conditioning is excellent!!

At first I was surprised there was no-one to meet at the property. This is a guest house with an absentee owner. You let yourself in with 2 access codes provided via message when you arrive. The system works very well once you get used to it and it gives you total control over your movements. The owner is quick to respond to messages and super helpful.

Located 2 blocks away from the colosseum I found myself in a location that gave me the opportunity to see Rome’s sights early in the morning without the crowds. It’s centrally located to basically all that is the best of Rome! The room was clean, very clean actually with a dedicated staff that do a great job. It’s a cozy place as well. The owner/manager is super friendly and the amenities are great considering its size and location. If you’re hesitating don’t, this is the place… but also when I go back to Rome don’t book this place, I intend to stay here again!

I stayed only for one night here, main reasons were: 1. Location-5 mins to the colosseum and termini station, 2. Price- I stayed here in June, when hotel prices in the city were much higher than reasonable, price for this place was the only one being a normal price. Both points go to what I like. In addition to that: - owners are very friendly and helpful, I liked the communication a lot, - apartment:looks much better in life than on the photos(light matters), clean and new, you have free water and snacks, you can cook on the shared kitchen if you want, very calm

Nothing. Maybe just for you information-view from the window is the wall or a balcony of another apartment, but it did not matter for me.

Our stay in Rome was amazing! The accommodation was in one of the best possible locations — super easy access not only to all the main sights, but also to the subway, supermarkets, and great local restaurants. The place was clean and even got cleaned during our stay, which made it feel extra comfortable and cared for. Communication with the host was excellent — always responsive and helpful. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again.

The internet connection was poor

I could not have asked for a better experience for a hotel stay. The hotel is right in the center of the city, close to everything we wanted to see. We were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see. The room was large enough for the 2 of us, It was strikingly clean, had great old world charm and views with all the modern amenities. The only issue was that Patrizia had gotten called away and could not meet us to get into our room. She bent over backwards, and apologized emphatically and we were able to get into our room without delay. Alessandro came by shortly after we arrived and made us feel like family. He was very informative about how to get around Rome, showed us on the map exactly where we were and how to get to where we needed to go. He is an amazing host, making us a coffee and making sure we were comfortable before he left. They arranged private transportation from the airport and then to the pier. I cannot say enough just how amazing it was that we had no trouble getting around Rome and that is definitely because of the time and patience they showed us. 5 stars all the way and we would not hesitate to stay with Alessandro and Patrizia again.

The only thing we didn't like was that we only had 2 days to stay in the beautiful hotel and would go back in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful property. The room was excellent, plenty of light. It didn’t have fantastic views (old courtyard) but it was private and quiet and had very good air conditioning. The bed was very nice, not too firm or soft and generously sized. The bathroom was exceptional with plenty of soaps and shampoo. My hosts were awesome, there was a slight stumble with check in, but they were all over it and apologized profusely. The maid service was excellent with free snacks and coffee refreshed as a part of daily upkeep. Everything was really great. There is also a shared kitchenette with a filtered still or sparkling water dispenser and a microwave. Very nice for late night leftovers. The location could not be better. The Coliseum, Forum, Trajan Column, lots of restaurants nearby, metro stations and everything you could want within walking distance. I felt that it was a great value and I really liked the hosts. They were attentive and seem to genuinely care about your stay and the upkeep of their property. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Residenza Roma Imperiale is the best accommodation I ever stayed. I was really impressed by the thoughtfulness of my host Patrizia. And I am also grateful to Alessandro and Isa for their hospitality. It was my first trip to Europe. And traveling alone. When Patrizia welcomed me warmly, my worries disappeared in an instant. The location is great, the room is very clean and comfortable and the facilities are good. I want to visit Rome again that is so rich history and most interesting. I definitely want to stay Residenza Roma Imperiale. Before I left Japan, I never expected my trip to Italy to be so wonderful ‼️‼️ Thank you very very much 🥰 Mayumi from Japan

There is nothing bad.

Great location and easy to walk to sites without issues. A couple of blocks from the coliseum and you can walk to the Trevi fountain and all the shops. Water! There is a filtered water station to refill your thermoses and that was perfect as for an American, we are not used to water being an issue. Our hosts. Patrizia and Alessandro had great communication and were wonderful to work with. Snacks in the room for us! Thank you and recommendations to eat. A/c was excellent too! In the future I would add a ceiling fan to the room to help conserve some of the a/c but I speak as a person from Arizona. Yes!!!!

Nothing to complain about but it was a little hard to find at first because sign is up high and can’t really see numbers that well but not a big deal.
