The location was the main reason I booked the property and it absolutely did not disappoint. Was within walking distance of all the major sites and tons of places to eat which made it very convenient at the end of the day of walking to get back to the hotel. The room was always cleaned and nice and neat when we arrived back.

The hotel could be marked a little better (there is only a small plaque on the wall outside marking the property). We walked by it 3 times before we noticed the plaque. Al.so while I did come to find it pretty cool eventually the elevator is like something out of an old movie, small and kind of makes you worry about getting stuck.

The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of many major attractions and main streets. Only a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. Our rooms were very clean, well-furnished, with a spacious bathroom and very comfortable beds. I had to check-in after hours and the hotel staff made the process very easy and convenient for me. They were also very responsive throughout our stay, and let us store our luggage in the office after check-out as we didn't leave Rome until later in the evening and had some tours booked in the afternoon that would have been a nightmare to do with our bags.

For a two star hotel Paba brings more in our opinion. From the communication prior to arrival helping us with a scam that was experienced through Booking.com to helping with our out of hours arrival. Excellent. The locality was so good a few minutes walk to the Colloseum it's a perfect visit with a super clean and very comfortable room. Had a great night's sleep. It's small but that's even better. Value for money....absolutely. All the staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. We were given a bottle of fizz for my wife's birthday, another great added touch. Difficult to find anything but when leaving the building on the ground floor was a bit of a smell. But that was only there and not on the second floor. Honestly nothing we didn't like

Excellent communication and helpfulness of staff. The hotel is exactly as described. Clean, modern, and in a perfect location. We were able to leave our bags with Lisa because we arrived early and were contacted when the room was ready. Our bags had been put in the room and our coats hung up. I stayed with my adult daughter and our request for twin beds was met. In the heart of Monti with fantastic bars and restaurants close by.

Nothing. It was a perfect stay. I feel like I have found a gem of a hotel within walking distane of Termini, and the Colosseum, Roman Forum etc.

The location was excellent. Only a short walk to the city centre and close to all the big tourist spots. Aircon was perfect. Staff were super helpful.

The elevator was old and on arrival we weren't sure it was in use due to this so ended up carrying suitcases up several flights of stairs. It was however fully functional and we had no issues with it after this but it would have been helpful to have a sign on arrival. Mattress could have been a little comfier.

The room was perfect for our 4 day vacation. We had our almost 2yo daughter with us and they made sure we had a crib for her with a pillow. We were able to self check in as we arrived in the evening. The instructions were clear. The location is great! The restaurants around the hotel are not the best but the hotel itself was great! We weren’t bothered by noises or anything. Lisa the receptionist was absolutely amazing! We will gladly come back in the future!

Hotel Paba was wonderful. The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to many sights and an easy walking distant to most everything. Being a small hotel gave you the feeling like you were a resident of Rome. In fact, during our 8 day stay, we hardly ran into the other hotel guest.

My wife and I are early risers and start our days before the staff arrived. There were times when we had questions and/or needed directions and there was nobody available to help. A bit of an inconvenience but it made us more self-sufficient.

Hotel Paba was clean, great location and an incredible staff. My sister and I stayed about a week at Hotel Paba. The hotel has been renovated and the room was comfortable, quiet with comfortable beds, nice towels and shower products. There was lots of hot water! The location is perfect and near the major ruins, Capitoline Museum and National Museum of Rome. It’s about a 15 min walk from Termini Station. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Our trip was made extra special by Lisa and Fanny who work at registration. They are available from 9-7. Their personal attention, recommending restaurants, calling taxis, arranging airport transportation made our stay extra special. Thank you again! Overlook the entry. It does not have curb appeal. The elevator works well, but it is not modern. The hotel is on the 2nd floor. Lisa and Fanny speak very good English. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Paba and would stay there again.

First of all, it was very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The architecture and ambiance of the hotel is wonderful. The location is great, very close to many sightseeing places, 5 minutes walk from the metro and 15 minutes walk from the train station. We liked it very much. The price was a bit high.

This hotel is very close to the Coliseum and other landmarks. Bodegas, restaurants, shops are right outside the front door. We walked our luggage down the hill from Rome Central Station, but only because we had internet issues upon arrival and couldn't use Uber. Without large luggage, this is a reasonable walk. The desk attendant, Fanny, was a delight. She really eased our mood after our walk from the train station! (really cool elevator, as well...)

Be prepared for a TINY room and bathroom. It's efficient, and has everything you need... but we had to open our luggage on the bed, and put it away when time to actually use the bed. The shower is 24" square, but functional. The reception desk was literally 5 feet from our door, but the sound was minimal and did not affect our stay. This room makes NYC hotels look spacious. But we quickly learned the extra square footage wasn't really necessary...
