First of all, they are very understanding and sweet people. The location was very good, it was very close to some attractions and metro station, and the bus stop was right in front of it. The room was big enough and clean. Don't be afraid by the old building and interior, everything is new and clean inside. The people there helped us a lot with all our requests and did not leave us in a difficult situation.

It's not that I don't like it, I just want to share a few things to keep in mind. The bathroom especially the sink is small. It's not a hotel, it's more like a place where you rent a room. Also, do not look at the signs while searching for the place, just look for a large wooden door, you will find the doorbell there, and the elevator inside is working go to 4th floor and its the door on the left

Great location right on a main road connecting through Rome + few minutes from the colosseum. A few metro + bus stops close by too but never used them as everything is pretty walkable in 15/20 minutes. We arrived past the 8pm check in so did pay a 20 euro fee but other costs were reasonable. We never saw anyone at reception the whole visit either, but there is a fridge and coffee facilities free to use there. The room itself was large (104) and bright with 2 windows, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small but big enough and clean. Clean towels were provided. The room had good soundproofing from outside, but we opened the windows at night and there was a bit of street noise as expected. The internal walls were a bit thin, we heard very clearly another room having fun one night! But overall we enjoyed our stay, it was very convenient and good value for money. Also, the hotel is on the 4th floor of a residential building, so do use the lift!

Location

We spent almost 3 hours at the airport because of the crowd at passport control so we informed the owner that we will come later. The owner didn't have so much patience and understanding. We came later then expected (around 11PM) but it wasn't our fault at all. He was a bit unprofessional during our comunication and said that we have 5mins to come or we can find another room. After check-in everything was fine, no other complaints

Amazing stay! The apartment was sparkling clean, and the service was excellent. They cleaned the room daily, just like a hotel, which was a wonderful touch. The hosts were very accommodating and even offered to store our luggage after check-out since our flight was later in the day. The location was ideal—close to everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Ideal location, good sized room for what we need it for. Helpful communication when required. Free WiFi, although temperamental and had to lie at the bottom of the bed for a signal.

The walls really need painting, they are quite tired and full of marks. The bathroom was boiling and even when trying to turn the radiator down, it didn’t seem to work.

We had an amazing time in Duca di Cavour. The place is great, just one block away from the Colisseum and a walk distance from many touristic spots. The subway station is also very close. There are many restaurant options nearby and a very nice restaurant just besides the hotel. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. The host was extremely nice and welcoming, he gave us many tips about places to visit and served us very nice expresso wen we arrived, they would also give free acces to the coffee machine, which we loved. It’s a cozy place to stay in Rome!

Just have in mind it’s a small cozy place, not a big hotel, so they don’t have a 24h reception for example, we had the keys to the building. But we really liked it, we felt at home.

Located in the Monti neighborhood makes it a central location to explore. On the hot weekend we were there, the air conditioning was amazing! The staff also were friendly and helpful, especially when we got locked out of our room and came in clutch to help us.

Bathroom was small and the shower was difficult to use. Instructions to find the hotel were difficult as well. Should have pictures of which building and floor it is on.

Our stay at Duca di Cavour was a great experience due to two factors, it’s location and the staff. It just one street away from the Colosseum, and a walkable distance from all the other main sights, even tho there’s a close metro station. Given the great location we got to visit the attractions both at night and day. The host is super friendly and helpful, and gives great recommendations!

We randomly got the room further away from reception, so the wifi signal was significantly weak; and even tho the facilities are quite good, sound isolation is not its strongest feature, but still manageable.

Beautiful room and view, great bathroom, comfortable bed, great location, accomodating with us leaving our bags for the day after check out

Hard to find (no sign on street)

The room is rather small without any kitchen amenities. However, the location is great in the center of Rome close to everything by foot: 10 min to the Colloseum, 10 minutes to the Fontana di Trevi, 12 min to the Roma Termini, with a great Trattoria right around the corner, an amazing bakery/Cafe and a super market. It's not the upscale hotel but it's definitely value for money. Clean, well taken care of. And the hosts, amazing! Highly recommended!

There's nothing bad. As long as you are aware that this is not a hotel or an Airbnb with all the amenities, it's a great place to stay.
