It was a very good location, close to shops,restaurants, and cafes. The staff were very helpful in the hotel, taxis were cheap and reliable. Close to various amenities. lots of lovely cafes with fresh pastries, an Irish bar across from the hotel, and a very good buzz around the area.

Location, very quiet. Shower was exceptional! Front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was offered.

Small room for our 2 medium suitcases. Our sink was not draining properly, but they sent someone up right away.

Great small hotel, convenient location (a block from Cavour metro), clean, very comfy, good wi-fi, excellent and friendly staff (all hours front desk, yes they'll store luggage after checkout). Monti area has a plethora of restaurants and many people, but closing the windows is effective for quiet even on a Fri or Sat night. Room was spacious by European standards (big desk, chair, 2 luggage stands, full closet). And BEST shower we had in four weeks in Italy (room to move, consistently hot water, actual water pressure).

Price shock by NA stds, but average cost for Rome, so can't really fault them for it.

The hotel, room and reception staff were excellent. Free WiFi which worked well. I have a Samsung phone so I could stream films from my phone to the Samsung TV ion the room which is something a lot of hotels disable. Breakfast was OK, given the hotel and room I was expecting more from the breakfast, I wouldn't say I 'disliked' it which is why I've added the comment to this field.

Room advertised as having a courtyard view, it wasn't a courtyard view. If you could actually see past the vines/flowers on the outside window cage all you could see was the centre of a square created by the layout of the hotel walls. The member of staff that greeted us could have done with smiling but I wasn't there to see her.

Reception staff and porter were amazing, really nice and friendly. The location was perfect, just ten minute walk from the Colosseum meant we didn't have the noise from the city. The evenings were really quiet in the rooms we had. The rooms are comfortable with a nice big comfy bed, a toilet, a sink and a shower - all working and functioning. All the things you need for a Hotel when you're on a break to go and see a major city.

The lady dealing with the breakfast was a little short and rude, so we only stayed for breakfast at the Hotel the one morning. The selection and quality of the food was good though.

This amazing hotel topped with is wonderful staff, beside the fact that the hotel itself -hence the location, rooms, breakfast, staff etc were impeccable, they also helped us with a problem we had, did all they could to approve late check out ( although the hotel was quite full) and accommodate to all of our needs! We thank you for that and appreciate your concerns and attentiveness.🙏🏻

From the second we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and a really positive attitude the staff were so incredible when it came to help finding the destinations or anything we needed help with, We were also upgraded to a superior suite an were able to check in early we arrived at 11:30 check in was 2 but because our room was ready we were told it was okay to check in an go up to our room! Everything in the hotel was super clean rooms were beautiful shower was huge! Not to mention the hotel is so close to everything literally 3 minutes from the colosseum and places to eat were on our doorstep! We will definitely be back to Rome not to mention we have now told family an friends who are going to Rome to use Duca d'alba as its the best hotel in Rome! Thank you guys for everything you done from day one and made our stay in room an 11/10 thank you! Joseph an Lois!

Nothing everything was perfect from start to finish.

Arrived early and stored my bag. The staff was extremely kind and helpful holding my luggage and telling me my room would be available early so I could come back and ck in. Room spotless, made up every day, shower bed and pillows wonderful. Location fantastic ..old Italy narrow brick streets..restaurants bars...shops. Next to metro...breakfast was excellent...eggs bacon juice Danish..and the waitress Lucia...was a love. After first day she knew what I liked and fed me my cappuccino every morning without asking.

Asking this question....caused I loved the place and people.

Excellent location and staff very friendly. Breakfast not included in price but you could just choose to have it on the day for €15 per person, this was really useful to give you flexibility and the breakfast had plenty of buffet options. The hotel is 2 min walk from Cavour Metro stop and about 5-10 mins from the Colosseum. Lots of bars a restaurant in the streets around the hotel, this was a perfect area to stay. I would stay here again!
