It’s pretty hard to find anywhere affordable to stay in Rome, so we were very pleased to find Lodi. It’s in quiet location out of the centre, but right by a metro/tram (Vatican in 30 mins, Termini in 15) or walkable (35 mins) to the coliseum. It’s also a short stroll to a really cool neighbourhood - Pigneto - which had loads of great places to eat and drink and not at ridiculous tourist trap prices. We’re a family of four and the quadruple room was perfect for our needs. The garden is a lovely place to unwind/have breakfast, and they do a nice croissant/juice/coffee combo. Staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a great choice for a budget end option - we’d recommend and come back.

Hotel location is very convenient, in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to the Metro station and within walking distance of some other means of transport, Hotel is OK, my room was clean and comfortable but the shared bathroom could use some refubishing. Staff is nice and welcoming, I was greeted by a gentleman who I didn´t got his name, but he was nice and funny, reception is manned 24hrs. Overall it was comfortable and suited my needs for the 2 nights.

Room could use a bit of a makeover but nothing to complain about.

Hotel Lodi is a great place, it's in a calm neighborhood but just next to the lively/student one where you can find many local bars and culture. The garden of this property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms were ok too, nothing I didn't like. What makes this place especially nice to stay is the staff, the dear Samy answered all my questions before arriving and on arrival was so kind to let us in as soon as our room was ready even though it was 3 hours before check-in time. Overall, I felt like staying at a family house.

The location is amazing because you have public transportation near by, restaurants, cafés, markets, etc, so it's really good. The room was recently renovated, so it was confortable, clean and the well illumined. The staff were super welcoming, helpful and even kept our bagages during an entire day on our last day. Thank you so much!

Good location, close to the different bus lines (few minutes walk). But the most important is a friendly staff and garden where breakfast (which is included) is served at the morning (cofeee, juice, croissants, sweet buns) and where you can sit at the evening. Very clean, room not very spacy but enough. No AC but at the end of September it wasn’t issue.

Room itself was quite big for a family of 4 and had enough air and ventilation. Staff was always helpful (Ariel, Claudio always gave some useful tips regarding touristy stuff, walking around the city, restartaunts, metro etc), so it was nice of them. The garden at the back is nice to enjoy a quiet breakfast. The hotel is in a residential area, so it is silent and away from the touristy buzz (and Rome is filled with tourists), so it was good for us to walk around the area and see what locals do :-) The building itself is from 1930, so it is interesting to stay in an old place !

The electric points were a bit of pain, some of them had a loose connection and it used to take us a bit of effort to get it working. The breakfast was OK. The distance from centre is around 5km or so, so plan ahead with the metro and bus (but it is not a big deal with planning). Taxis were hard to get by sometimes (but we were there during the easter weekend, so could be attributed to that). Once you get to the metro, the Guiovanni station is convienent. There are a lot of restaraunts in 1km radius, with a bit of walk. Watch for pickpockets in the metro stations, we met someone who had just been picked.

The staff was very nice, very welcoming and always ready to help! The location is great, close to public transport, restaurants and some bars. It has a wonderful garden where breakfast is served. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. I totally recommend, specially for a stay with friends.

Breakfast could have more salty options, as it is an Italian breakfast, very sweet. Nevertheless, what is served is good.

The quietness of the surroundings makes us sleep well during the night.. The breakfast was awesome with quality chocolate, butter, jam croissants 🤤. We love their cappuccino and chocolate drinks which was better than one of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in previously. It is convenient to access the city especially the Colosseum area. We saved up transportation costs by having walking or bus taking to points of attraction in Rome and the Vatican. The best was given a chance to access San Giovanni as that's a great church to visit without entrance fee! . We also found good restaurants and a shopping centre with walking steps Overall, we were having a wonderful holiday with better sleeping quality there. Definitely, we will go back to Lodi in next visit Thanks to the friendly staff for letting us to refill drinks with FOC! 😊

This accommodation in a quiet location but close to public transport was a great find! Breakfast was good, the garden was beautiful and inviting to spend a good time just hanging out or chatting with friends. The staff was wonderful, Mr. Claudio was always so kind and attentive, let us check-in early and took care of our bags. It was a very good stay :)

Freshly decorated, clean room. Very comfortable. We got a great restaurant recommendation from the staff when we arrived tired and hungry. Good location, we walked to Colosseum and Termini.

A bit noisy outside in the evening and after 8am but all of Rome is noisy!
